Good nutrition plays a crucial role in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. The beneficial effects of nutrition have been found to counteract nutritional disturbances with the expanded use of nutraceuticals to treat and manage cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and other developmental defects over the last decade. Flavonoids are found abundantly in plant-derived foods such as fruits, vegetables, tea, cocoa, and wine. Fruits and vegetables contain phytochemicals like flavonoids, phenolics, alkaloids, saponins, and terpenoids. Flavonoids can act as anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-microbial(antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral) antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-diarrheal agents. Flavonoids are also reported to upregulate apoptotic activity in several cancers such as hepatic, pancreatic, breast, esophageal, and colon. Myricetin is a flavonol which is naturally present in fruits and vegetables and has shown possible nutraceutical value. Myricetin has been portrayed as a potent nutraceutical that may protect against cancer. The focus of the present review is to present an updated account of studies demonstrating the anticancer potential of myricetin and the molecular mechanisms involved therein. A better understanding of the molecular mechanism(s) underlying its anticancer activity would eventually help in its development as a novel anticancer nutraceutical having minimal side effects.

Insight into Metabolomic Profiling of Tinospora cordifolia: Recent Advances and Future Perspectives of Quality Control

The objective of this study was to offer a review of previous works on Tinospora cordifolia(TC) metabolomics with a highlight on the use of metabolomics in comparative evaluations between varieties and selection of optimum cultivation, collection, and extraction procedures, providing insights into pharmaceutical and food product quality monitoring. scholarly databases were searched to gather relevant information on TC's therapeutic usefulness, phytoconstituent studies, metabolomics, and applications. Pub Chem was used to learn the structures of several of the metabolites. The various medicinal properties of TC were extensively researched. The most essential portions of the plant in Ayurvedic medicines are the stems. Bioactive phytochemicals such as steroidal lactones, alkaloids, diterpenoids, and phenolic compounds are present in the roots and leaves. Metabolomic analysis revealed that, in addition to the season and geographical region of the sample collected, the metabolite profiles of TC also depend on the parts of the plant taken as a sample and also the plant's stage of growth. The amounts of secondary metabolites differed between morpho/chemotypes within the TC species. Despite the fact that research on TC began several decades ago, the diversity of phytoconstituents was not appreciated because of a lack of reliable techniques for phytochemical fingerprinting. The uncovering of several novel metabolites was aided by advances in chromatography combined with mass spectrometry. To produce a full metabolomic profile, researchers used mutually complementary techniques. Following that, data analysis and searches against spectrum databases allowed for signal annotation and interpretation of metabolites in large quantities without separating them separately. The current review includes a critical assessment of metabolomic data and an overview of the technique's various applications. Effect of Cu/Zn substitution in MgO Nanostructures for Tuning the Optical Bandgap and structural Properties

Low cost co-precipitation method was used to synthesize Cu(0-0.05)doped MgO samples with fixed concertation of Zn=0.01.X-ray diffraction(XRD)spectra confirmed the phase purity of the samples for 0≤Cu≤0.03 doping *** secondary phase for 0.04≤Cu≤0.05 exhibited the formation of mixed metal *** crystallite size was found to increase from 17.5 to 23.5 nm for 0≤Cu≤0.03 and then decreased from 22 to 18.5 nm for 0.04≤Cu≤*** estimated bandgap first reduced from 5.48 to 4.88 eV and then increased from 5.21 to 5.36 *** morphology of the samples transformed from spheroidal shape to star-like *** obtained results reveal that the structural and optical property are in good agreement with the morphological *** peak shifting towards the lower values of vibrational frequency from 694 to 579 cm^(-1) confirms the incorporation of Cu/Zn in Mg-O *** tuning of optical bandgap and structural properties with varying dopant concentration in MgO nanomaterials can be used for multifunctional modern energy storage and optoelectronic devices.

Faster Metallic surface Defect Detection Using Deep Learning with Channel shuffling

Deep learning has been constantly improving in recent years,and a significant number of researchers have devoted themselves to the research of defect detection *** and recognition of small and complex targets is still a problem that needs to be *** authors of this research would like to present an improved defect detection model for detecting small and complex defect targets in steel *** steel strip production,mechanical forces and environmental factors cause surface defects of the steel ***,the detection of such defects is key to the production of high-quality ***,surface defects of the steel strip cause great economic losses to the high-tech *** far,few studies have explored methods of identifying the defects,and most of the currently available algorithms are not sufficiently ***,this study presents an improved real-time metallic surface defect detection model based on You Only Look Once(YOLOv5)specially designed for small *** the smaller features of the target,the conventional part is replaced with a depthwise convolution and channel shuffle *** assigning weights to Feature Pyramid Networks(FPN)output features and fusing them,increases feature propagation and the network’s characterization *** experimental results reveal that the improved proposed model outperforms other comparable models in terms of accuracy and detection *** precision of the proposed model achieved by mAP@0.5 is 77.5%on the Northeastern University,Dataset(NEU-DET)and 70.18%on the GC10-DET datasets.

Wastewater treatment using Fe-doped perovskite manganites by photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange,crystal violet and indigo carmine dyes in tungsten bulb/sunlight

We documented(ⅰ) the decolorization of wastewater in visible light,which contains methyl orange,crystal violet and indigo carmine dyes,using La_(0.7)sr_(0.3)Mn_(1-x)Fe_(x)O_(3)(x=0.0,0.05,0.1 and 0.5) manganites and(ⅱ) efficient separation of photocatalysts from water using magnetic *** ceramic photocatalysts were sintered at 1050℃ for 12 *** were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy(sXAs),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(DRs).sXAs studies show the presence of Mn(Mn^(3+)/Mn^(4+)) and Fe(Fe^(3+)/Fe^(4+)) mixes valences in Fe-doped *** band gap is found in visible light range for La_(0.7)sr_(0.3)Mn_(1-x)Fe_(x)O_(3)(x=0.0,0.05,0.1) ***_(0.7)sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) degrades 94.6% methyl orange in7 min,81.9% crystal violet in 10 min and 99.1% indigo carmine in 5 ***_(0.7)sr_(0.3)Mn_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3) degrades the 92.6% methyl orange dye solution in 9 min,94.8% crystal violet in 25 min and 97.1% indigo carmine in3 *** and Fe doped manganites can be separated in 60 s from wastewater.

Most forest fires in the Margalla Hills are related to human activities and socioeconomic factors are essential to assess their likelihood of *** study considers both environmental(altitude,precipitation,forest type,terrain and humidity index)and socioeconomic(population density,distance from roads and urban areas)factors to analyze how human behavior affects the risk of forest *** entropy(Maxent)modelling and random forest(RF)machine learning methods were used to predict the probability and spatial diffusion patterns of forest fires in the Margalla *** receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and the area under the ROC curve(AUC)were used to compare the *** studied the fire history from 1990 to 2019 to establish the relationship between the probability of forest fire and environmental and socioeconomic *** Maxent,the AUC fire probability values for the 1999 s,2009 s,and 2019 s were 0.532,0.569,and 0.518,respectively;using RF,they were 0.782,0.825,and 0.789,*** were mainly distributed in urban areas and their probability of occurrence was related to accessibility and human behaviour/*** principles for validation were greater in the random forest models than in the Maxent *** results can be used to establish preventive measures to reduce risks of forest fires by considering socio-economic and environmental conditions.
