Primary esophageal sclerosing mucoepidermoid carcinoma with “tissue eosinophilia”

Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) is a rare primary esophageal malignancy. It is characterized by poor clinical recognition, pre-operative diagnostic challenges and a lack of standardized therapeutic guidelines. We report the clinicopathological features of a hitherto unreported variant of esophageal MEC, sclerosing MEC with “tissue eosinophilia”, in a mid-esophageal location in a 51-year-old female. The diagnosis of the initial biopsy was challenging, because of the small size, poor orientation and inadequate representation of the MEC components. recognition of the resectability of the tumor prompted surgical resection and enabled a demonstration of the low grade foci containing intermediate cells, mucin pools and the hitherto undescribed presence of stromal sclerosis and tissue eosinophils in esophageal MEC. Heightened clinicopathological awareness of esophageal MEC facilitated a definitive diagnosis and patient management. Increased recognition and global documentation of esophageal sclerosing MEC with “tissue eosinophilia” is necessary to improve the understanding and diagnosis of this malignancy in this location and to improve management guidelines.

This research article mainly reports on the precise structural,optical,and photocatalytic properties of cerium(Ce)-substituted yttrium manganite(YMnO_(3))nanoparticles synthesized by the polyacrylamide gel *** characteristics of YMnO_(3)were investigated by the substitution of Ce into the Y site at various molar *** raman and X-ray diffraction(XrD)analyses confirmed the pure phase of hexagonal YMnO_(3),supported by the rietveld *** microstructural studies indicate inhomogeneous and irregular particle *** X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)results show the presence of two ionic states of Mn and Ce along with Y^(3+)state and oxygen *** optical exploration using photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy and UV-Vis-NIr analysis indicates that the intensity of absorption peak increases in the visible region,while the bandgap decreases from 1.42 to1.30 eV with the Ce ion doping(5 mol%-15 mol%).Photocatalytic properties of the polycrystalline nanoparticles were investigated by degradation of the pollutant *** process of amplified photocatalysis process was elucidated by the lowered bandgap and rate of charge carrier *** can be conjugated from this study that the synthesized nanoparticles may be employed as highly efficient(92.8%)visible light-triggered photocatalysts in a variety of real-world applications.

Using the Thomas-Fermi quark model,a collective,spherically symmetric density of states is created to represent a gas of interacting fermions with various degeneracies at zero *** a family of pentaquarks,uudcc,color interaction probabilities were obtained after averaging over all the possible *** different functions are developed for light,charm,and anti-charm quarks and are assumed to be linearly related by some proportionality *** patterns of quark distributions are observed while analyzing the quark function consistency conditions for such constants.

Exact solution of Einstein＇s field equations is obtained for massive string cosmological model of Bianchi III space-time using the technique given by Letelier （1983） in presence of perfect fluid and electromagnetic field. To get the deterministic solution of the field equations the expansion 0 in the model is considered as proportional to the eigen value σ2^2of the shear tensor σi^j and also the fluid obeys the barotropic equation of state. It is observed that in early stage of the evolution of the universe string dominates over the particle whereas the universe is dominated by massive string at the late time. It is also observed that the string phase of the universe disappears in our model because particle density becomes negative. Some physical and geometric properties of the model are also discussed.

An efficient protocol for maintaining the artemisinin content in tissue culture and high frequency of in vitro direct and indirect regenerations of multiple shoots of high artemisinin yielding genotypes of Artemisia annua has been developed and their comparison with field grown mother plant has been carried *** eleven elite genotypes(containing more than 1%artemisinin)were tested on seven different modified media *** half MS(Murashige and Skoog’s)media containing 100 mg L^(-1) myo-inositol,0.5 g L^(-1) casine hydrolysate,5 mg L^(-1) biotin,2 mL L^(-1) rT(revised Tobacco)vitamin stock,0.5 mg L^(-1) BAP and 0.01 mg L^(-1) NAA showed best regeneration while,above modified MS medium containing 0.2 mg L^(-1) BAP and 0.2 mg L^(-1) NAA showed maximum shoot multiplication with maintained artemisinin *** on the chemical profiles of both the systems,minor difference was observed in their artemisinin content.A large scale culture of these plants maintained the normal growth index along with the artemisinin content and could be a better alternative to maintain the high artemisinin yielding genotypes with their genetic constraint in specific media combinations and also used as base material for further genetic improvement.

In this study,characteristics of charge injection under extra high electric field(above 100 kV/mm)in cross‐linked polyethylene(XLPE)were investigated by experiments of conduction current and space *** results show that current density from low electric field to sample breakdown corresponds to space charge limited current(SCLC)*** specifically,Schottky current is similar to experiment current before 100 kV/mm,while the J–E curve conforms to a modified SCLC theory after 100 kV/***,the non‐linear coefficient of J–E curve from 100 kV/mm to extra high electric field is smaller than theoretical value,and the injection depth of space charge is restricted as the field becomes higher than 100 kV/mm,which may be caused by the negative differential mobility of *** by extra high electric field,charge collides with lattice of dielectric and *** a result,mean free time of charge decreases and charge mobility is reduced with the increased ***-quently,considering the decrease in charge mobility,a mobility‐limited charge injec-tion equation is proposed,and the validity of the proposed equation under extra high electric field is demonstrated by space charge simulation.

Trend Analysis of rainfall in Ganga Basin, India during 1901-2000

Shortage of water in the river in relation to rainfall change plays a pivotal role in water sharing like Ganga. In attempt to understand the rainfall changes, Mann-Kendall test and Sen’s slope estimation on hundred years’ (1901-2000) rainfall data of 236 districts in entire Ganga basin were run. Half of the districts showed a decreasing trend in annual rainfall in which 39 districts were statistically significant. During pre-monsoon (Jan.-May), 78% of the total districts showed the decreasing trend with the significance of 54 districts. A majority of the districts under the Kosi, Gandak and Sone sub-basins showed the significant negative trend in annual, pre-monsoon and post-monsoon season. So, there need some districts’ and sub-basins’ wise strategies to cope with the situation in the context of climate change.
