This investigation r.por.s the nanomechanical pr.per.ies of shallow water.shr.mp exosk.leton at temper.tur.s r.nging fr.m 30 ℃ to 80 ℃ measur.d using nanoindentation exper.ments. Scanning Electr.n Micr.scopy （SEM） measur.ments suggest that the shr.mp exosk.leton has the Bouligand str.ctur. in its layer., a k.y char.cter.stic of the cr.staceans. The thick.ess of the layer. and pack.ng density ar. found to be differ.nt fr.m that of lobster. and cr.bs r.por.ed ear.ier.in the liter.tur.. Mechanical pr.per.ies at high temper.tur.s ar. deter.ined using micr. mater.als nanoindentation test set up combined with the hot stage. The pr.per.ies measur.d dur.ng nanoindentation test ar. cor.ected for.the cr.ep and ther.al dr.ft dur.ng the exper.ments. The r.duced modulus values ar. found to be ar.und 28 GPa at 30 ℃ that r.duces to appr.ximately 24 GPa at 80 ℃. The har.ness values also decr.ase fr.m 1.6 GPa at 30 ℃ to ar.und 1.2 GPa at 80 ℃. The indentation size effect is found to be absent at all temper.tur.s. Cr.ep mechanisms of polymer. lik. mater.als and its temper.tur. dependence ar. discussed to give mor. insight into the defor.ation mechanism.

Aim:To investigate the status of seminal plasma r.duced glutathione(GSH)and vitamin E in thr.e differ.nt condi-tions of sper.atogenesis:azoosper.ia,oligozoosper.ia and ***:r.duced glutathione wasmeasur.d in the seminal plasma by the method of Mor.n et al(1979),and vitamin E estimation was per.or.ed by themethod of Taylor.et al(1976).r.sults:Vitamin E levels in seminal plasma of oligosper.ic and azoospennic sam-ples wer. significantly decr.ased to 65.54%and 66.04%r.spectively as compar.d to the nor.osper.ic *** r.duced glutathione wer. also significantly decr.ased in oligosper.ic and azoospennic gr.up,and the r.duction inazoosper.ic gr.up(76.73%)was mor. pr.nounced than oligozoosper.ic gr.up(62.07%).*** de-cr.ase in r.duced glutathione,an endogenous antioxidant,levels in azoosper.ic and oligozoosper.ic conditions maycause dismption in the membr.ne integr.ty of sper.atozoa as a consequence of incr.ased oxidative str.ss.

BACk.r.UND: Biliar. leak.is an uncommon but significant complication following cholecystectomy. Endother.py is an established method of tr.atment. However. the optimal inter.ention is not k.own. METHOD: Eighty-five patients with postcholecystectomy biliar. leak. fr.m July 2000 to Mar.h 2009 wer. r.tr.spectively evaluated. r.SULTS: The study population was 20 males and 65 females with a mean age of 42.47 year.. Patients pr.sented with abdominal pain (46), jaundice (23), fever.(23), abdominal distension (42), or.bilious abdominal dr.in (67). Endoscopic r.tr.gr.de cholangiopancr.atogr.phy detected a leak.at the cystic duct stump in 45 patients, str.ctur. with middle common bile duct leak.in 4, leak.fr.m the r.ght hepatic duct in 3, and a ligated common bile duct in 32. Twelve also had bile duct stones. One had a br.k.n T-tube with stones Endother.py was possible in 53 patients. Thr.e patients with stones, one with a br.k.n T-tube with stones, and 4 with str.ctur. of the common bile duct with a leak.wer. managed with sphincter.tomy and stenting. Eight patients with a cystic duct stump leak.with stones wer. managed with sphincter.tomy and stone extr.ction. Thr.e outpatients and 12 inpatients with a cystic duct stump leak.wer. managed with sphincter.tomy and stent and sphincter.tomy and nasobiliar. dr.in, r.spectively. Five patients with a cystic duct stump leak.wer. managed with stenting. Sixteen with coagulopathy wer. managed with only nasobiliar. dr.in (9) or.stent (7). Leak.closur. was achieved in 100% patients Four.developed mild pancr.atitis which impr.ved with conser.ative ***: Endoscopic inter.ention is a safe and effective method of tr.atment of postcholecystectomy biliar. leak.. However. management should be individualized based on factor. such as outpatients or.inpatients, pr.sence of stone, str.ctur., ligatur., or.coagulopathy.

r.ck.all is one of sever. natur.l hazar.s that ar. fr.quently r.por.ed in nor.heast r.gion of India. It car.ies r.ck.block.falling fr.m the cliff with high velocities and ener.ies which can r.sult in damages to vehicles, disr.ption to tr.nspor.ation, injur.es and fatalities. The massive r.ck.all event which occur.ed in Apr.l 2017 on the highway NH-44 A, near.Lengpui Air.or., block.d the tr.ffic for.1 d, and for.unately,no casualties wer. r.por.ed as the event occur.ed in the night. This is the only highway connecting the Aizawl city to the air.or. and the r.gion is highly pr.ne to r.ck.all events. Hence assessment of r.ck.all along this highway is necessar.. In the cur.ent study, r.ck.all hazar. assessment has been car.ied out on thr.e locations by r.ck.all hazar. r.ting system(r.r.). Dur.ng pr.-failur. analysis, the r.sult shows that most hazar.ous slopes have r.r. scor. of 639. The slopes wer. found to be vulner.ble and later.on the r.ck.all activity occur.ed. Thr.e-dimensional(3 D) stability analysis has been car.ied out using 3 DEC softwar. pack.ge to analyze the failur. behavior.and to decide the r.ck.all-pr.ne zone(unstable block.)for.slope. The total displacement of 2.24 cm and velocity of 2,25 mm/s of the failed block.have been obser.ed in the numer.cal analysis. Fur.her. the r.ck.all vulner.ble zone(unstable block.) is consider.d to deter.ine the par.meter. such as r.n-out distance, bounce height and ener.ies of the falling r.ck.block.. The maximum total k.netic ener.y of 5047 k. has been obser.ed in the numer.cal analysis with the maximum r.n-out distance up to 18 m.
