The pr.sent study was to evaluate the effect of tr.ce miner.ls(Zn, Mn, and Cu) fr.m complexed amino acid miner.ls(ZMCAA) and bis-glycinate chelated miner.ls(ZMCGly) in laying hen diets on per.or.ance,inter.al and exter.al egg quality, yolk miner.l deposition, intestinal mor.hometr., and bone char.cter.stics. Fr.m 78 to 98 weeks of age, 400 White LSL-Lite str.in laying hens wer. distr.buted in a r.ndomized design with 4 tr.atments with 10 r.plicates per.tr.atment. Tr.atments wer. distr.buted in a 2 ×2 factor.al ar.angement using either.Zn, Mn, and Cu of ZMCAA or.ZMCGly sour.e at 2 levels: low(20, 20,and 3.5 mg/kg of Zn, Mn, and Cu, r.spectively) or.high(40, 40, and 7 mg/kg of Zn, Mn, and Cu,r.spectively). The analysis of var.ance was per.or.ed, and in cases wher. differ.nces wer. obser.ed, the means wer. compar.d using Tukey?s test(P r.e and level of tr.ce miner.l supplementation had a significant impact on the per.or.ance of laying hens. Hens fed ZMCAA had higher.egg pr.duction(P = 0.01), egg weight(P = 0.02), egg mass(P = 0.01), and lower.feed conver.ion r.tio(P =0.05) compar.d to those fed ZMCGly. The ZMCAA supplementation showed higher.albumen height(P =0.01), albumen weight(P = 0.01), and eggshell thickness(P r.ater.for.hens r.ceived ZMCAA. Tibia weight(P = 0.04)and bone densitometr.(P r. higher.with ZMCAA supplementation. In the small intestine, ZMCAA r.sulted in longer.villi(P = 0.02) and shor.er.cr.pt depth(P = 0.01) in the *** and ileum measur.ments wer. influenced by the level and sour.e of tr.ce miner.ls(P r.or.per.or.ance, egg quality, deposition of tr.ce miner.ls in the egg yolk, and bone density compar.d to hens fed ZMCGly. In this study, older.laying hens supplemented with ZMCAA at lower.levels demonstr.ted adequate levels of supplementation.

Effects of excluded volume of nucleons on nuclear.matter.ar. studied, and the nuclear.pr.per.ies that follow fr.m differ.nt r.lativistic mean-field model par.metr.zations ar. compar.d. We show that, for.all tested par.metr.zations, the r.sulting volume ener.y al and the symmetr. ener.y j ar. ar.und the acceptable values of 16 MeV and 30 MeV, and the density symmetr. L is ar.und 100 MeV. On the other.hand, models that consider.only linear.ter.s lead to incompr.ssibility Ko much higher.than expected. For.most par.meter.sets ther. exists a cr.tical point （pc, δc）, wher. the minimum and the maximum of the equation of state ar. coincident and the incompr.ssibility equals zer.. This cr.tical point depends on the excluded volume par.meter.r. If this par.meter.is lar.er.than 0.5 fm, ther. is no cr.tical point and the pur. neutr.n matter.is pr.dicted to be bound. The maximum value for.neutr.n star.mass is 1.85M⊙, which is in agr.ement with the mass of the heaviest obser.ed neutr.n star.4U0900-40 and cor.esponds to r.= 0.72 fm. We also show that the light neutr.n star.mass （1.2M⊙） is obtained for.r.≌ 0.9 fr..

The electr.cal r.sistivity method is a geophysical tool used to char.cter.ze the subsoil and can pr.vide an impor.ant infor.ation for.pr.cision agr.cultur.. The lack of knowledge about agr.nomic pr.per.ies of the soil tends to affect the agr.cultur.l coffee pr.duction system. Ther.for., r.sear.h r.lated to geoelectr.cal pr.per.ies of soil such as r.sistivity for.char.cter.zation the r.gion of the study for.coffee cultivation pur.oses can impr.ve and optimize the pr.duction. This r.sistivity method allows to investigate the subsur.ace thr.ugh differ.nt techniques: 1D ver.ical electr.cal sounding and electr.cal imaging. The acquisition of data using these techniques per.itted the cr.ation of 2D r.sistivity cr.ss section fr.m the study ar.a. The geoelectr.cal data was acquir.d by using a r.sistivity meter.equipment and was pr.cessed in differ.nt softwar.s. The r.sults of the geoelectr.cal char.cter.zation fr.m 1D r.sistivity model and 2D r.sistivity electr.cal sections show that in the study ar.a of Kabir., ther. ar. 8 var.eties of geoelectr.cal layer. with differ.nt r.sistivity or.conductivity. Near.sur.ey in the study ar.a, the lowest r.sistivity is ar.und 0.322 Ω·m, while the highest is about 92.1 Ω·m. These values illustr.ted wher. is possible to plant coffee for.suggestion of specific fer.ilization plan for.some ar.a to impr.ve the cultivation.

The incidence of Mycobacter.um avium complex pulmonar. disease (MACPD) has been globally incr.asing. The pr.sent study aims to pr.vide a compr.hensive analysis of clinical char.cter.stics and tr.atment r.sponse among patients in the Amazon r.gion of Br.zil and conduct a r.tr.spective cohor. study at a pr.minent r.fer.al hospital in the State of Par. Br.zil, fr.m 2012 to 2020. The M. avium gr.up r.pr.sented 58.9% of cases, followed by M. intr.cellular. (35.7%), M. colombiense (3.6%), and M. chimaer. (1.8%). The major.ty of patients (73.2%) wer. female and with an aver.ge age of 63 year.. Pr.mar. clinical manifestations included per.istent cough and sputum pr.duction. The Char.son comor.idity index (CCI) aver.ged 2.47, with 36.3% of patients having a CCI scor. equal to higher.than 3. Notably, over.70% of patients had r.ceived tr.atment for.pulmonar. tuber.ulosis befor. initiating tr.atment for.MAC infection. The fibr.cavitar. r.diologic for. was the most pr.valent (55.4%), fr.quently exhibiting a bilater.l distr.bution (53.6%). Antimicr.bial susceptibility r.vealed a significant pr.valence of MAC r.sistance to dr.gs in the ther.peutic r.gimen. Despite this, most of the patients exper.enced clinical impr.vement (50%). In conclusion, this study highlights a higher.pr.valence of MAC infections among middle-aged women, with a histor. of pulmonar. tuber.ulosis tr.atment and pr.senting the fibr.cavitar. r.diological for. was pr.dominant.
