Dye pollution is a common pollutant in wastewater that poses a serious threat to human *** double hydroxide(LDH)is a commonly used adsorbent for dye ***,its adsorption efficiency is significantly limited by the limited adsorption active sites of the *** this paper,a defects-rich MgFe LDH adsorbent for anionic dye wastewater was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method and alkaline *** analytical techniques,such as XRD,FT-IR,SEM,TEM,XPS,and N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm,were used to verify the chemical composition and surface characteristics of the materials,and the effects of pH,temperature,and contact time on the adsorption effect of methyl orange and the adsorption mechanism were *** etching of Al and Zn in the laminate generated defects that expose unsaturated coordination centers and create abundant adsorption sites,which can electrostatically attract and coordinate with dye *** 25℃,the adsorption capacity of MgFe LDH with Al etched and MgFe LDH with Zn etched for methyl orange dye reached 1722 mg·g^(-1 ) and 1685 mg·g^(-1 ),respectively,much higher than that of MgFe LDH(544 mg·g^(-1 )).This work provides a promising method for the removal of dye wastewater by adsorption and a new idea for the design and development of high-performance dye wastewater adsorbents.

Citrus Huanglongbing(HLB),caused by Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus(CaLas),is the most serious disease ***460 was previously characterized as a potential virulence factor of ***,the function and mechanism of CaLasSDE460 involved in CaLas against citrus is still ***,we showed that transgenic expression of CaLasSDE460 in Wanjincheng oranges(*** Osbeck)contributed to the early growth of CaLas and the development of *** the temperature increased from 25℃to 32℃,CaLas growth and symptom development in transgenic plants were slower than those in WT ***-seq analysis of transgenic plants showed that CaLasSDE460 affected multiple biological *** 25℃,transcription activities of the“Protein processing in endoplasmic reticulum”and“Cyanoamino acid metabolism”pathways increased while transcription activities of many pathways decreased at 32℃.124 and 53 genes,separately annotated to plant-pathogen interaction and MAPK signaling pathways,showed decreased expression at 32℃,compared with these(38 for plant-pathogen interaction and 17 for MAPK signaling)at 25℃.Several important genes(MAPKKK14,HSP70b,NCED3 and WRKY33),remarkably affected by CaLasSDE460,were ***,our data suggested that CaLasSDE460 participated in the pathogenesis of CaLas through interfering transcription activities of citrus defense response and this interfering was temperature-dependent.

溪洛渡水电站三相组合式变压器共用一个油路系统,3个单相变压器通过母线连接箱实现油路和电路的连接。3个单相变压器油路的相连给变压器整体热油循环带来了问题,对溪洛渡水电站三相组合式变压器整体热油循环处理方案进行了研究,在条件允许的情况下,采用3台真空滤油机同时滤油能达到最佳的滤油效果。但由于溪洛渡水电站地下厂房空间条件限制及滤油设备情况限制,其主变压器滤油宜采用三相逐相热油循环的方式进行。

Long-term humoral immunity to SARS-CoV-2 is essential for preventing reinfection. The production of neutralizing antibody (nAb)and B cell differentiation are tightly regulated by T follicular help (T_(FH)) cells. However, the longevity and functional role of T_(FH) cellsubsets in COVID-19 convalescents and vaccine recipients remain poorly defined. Here, we show that SARS-CoV-2 infection andinactivated vaccine elicited both spike-specific CXCR3^(+) T_(FH) cell and CXCR3^(-) T_(FH) cell responses, which showed distinct responsepatterns. Spike- specific CXCR3^(+) T_(FH) cells exhibit a dominant and more durable response than CXCR3^(-) T_(FH) cells that positivelycorrelated with antibody responses. A third booster dose preferentially expands the spike-specific CXCR3^(+) T_(FH) cell subset inducedby two doses of inactivated vaccine, contributing to antibody maturation and potency. Functionally, spike-specific CXCR3^(+) T_(FH) cellshave a greater ability to induce spike-specific antibody secreting cells (ASCs) differentiation compared to spike-specific CXCR3^(-) T_(FH)cells. In conclusion, the persistent and functional role of spike-specific CXCR3^(+) T_(FH) cells following SARS-CoV-2 infection andvaccination may play an important role in antibody maintenance and recall response, thereby conferring long-term protection. Thefindings from this study will inform the development of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines aiming to induce long-term protective immunememory.

Dear Editor,Omicron(B.1.1.529)was designated a variant of concern(VOC)on November 26,2021(Callaway,2021),and its subvariants BA.1,BA.2,and BA.3 emerged and circulated almost simultaneously(Desingu et al.,2022).BA.2 was more efficient in transmission and quickly overtook BA.1 to become the variant most frequently detected worldwide(Yamasoba et al.,2022a).Compared to the prototype SARS-CoV-2 spike protein(S),the BA.1 and BA.2 spike proteins harbor more than 30 mutations,of which 21 are identical between the two subvariants,while the BA.3 spike differs from BA.1 and BA.2 by 3 mutations in the receptor binding domain(RBD)(Fig.1A).More recently,BA.4 and BA.5(hereafter BA.4/5)emerged,sharing the same spike sequence and containing four additional mutations,Del69–70,L452R,F486V,and R493Q,compared with ***.4/5 were detected first in South Africa and evolved independently of BA.2;they have spread widely and replaced BA.2 as the predominant VOC(Gruell et al.,2022b;Tegally et al.,2022).In addition,BA.2.75,derived from the BA.2 subvariant,harbors nine additional mutations in the spike protein compared with BA.2(Fig.1A).BA.4/5 and BA.2.75 have led to the continuous emergence of novel Omicron subvariants,including BF.7 and *** new subvariants may be driving waves of pandemics.

Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of the pretreatment systemic immune-inflammation index(SII)in non-metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the data of 839 patients with non-metastatic NPC recruited from two independent *** training-set cohort and the external validation-set cohort was comprised of 459 and 380 patients from each institution,*** optimal cut-offvalue of SII was determined,and a prognostic risk stratification model was developed based on the training cohort and further assessed in the validation *** propensity score matching(PSM)method was applied to minimize the confounding effects of unbalanced ***:The optimal cut-offvalue of the SII in the training cohort was 686,which was confirmed using the vali-dation *** analysis showed that both before and after PSM,SII values>686 were independently associated with worse progression-free survival(PFS)ratio in both cohorts(before PSM,P=0.008 and P=0.008;after PSM,P=0.008 and P=0.007,respectively).Based on the analysis of independent prognostic factors of SII and N stage,we developed a categorical risk stratification model,which achieved significant discrimination among risk indexes associated with PFS and distant metastasis-free survival(DMFS)in the training *** was no significant difference in PFS between RT alone and combined therapies within the low-and intermediate-risk groups(5-year PFS,77.5%vs.75.3%,P=0.275).Patients in the high-risk group who received concurrent chemoradiotherapy experienced superior PFS compared with those who received other therapies(5-year PFS,64.9%vs.40.3%,P=0.003).Conclusion:Pretreatment SII predicts PFS of patients with non-metastatic *** risk stratification incorporating SII is instructive for selecting individualized treatment.
