Theories of modified gravity suggest that the propagation speed of gravitational waves(GW)v_gmay deviate from the speed of light c.A constraint can be placed on the difference between c and v_gwith a simple method that uses the arrival time delay between GW and electromagnetic wave simultaneously emitted from a burst *** simulated the joint observation of GW and short gamma-ray burst signals from binary neutron star merger events in different observation campaigns,involving advanced LIGO(aLIGO)in design sensitivity and Einstein Telescope(ET)joint-detected with Fermi/*** a result,the relative precision of constraint on v_gcan reach~10~(-17)(aLIGO)and~10^(-18)(ET),which are one and two orders of magnitude better than that from GW170817,*** continue to obtain the bound of graviton mass m_g≤7.1(3.2)×10~(-20)eV with aLIGO(ET).Applying the Standard-Model Extension test framework,the constraint on v_gallows us to study the Lorentz violation in the nondispersive,nonbirefringent limit of the gravitational *** obtain the constraints of the dimensionless isotropic coefficients S_(00)^(4)at mass dimension d=4,which are-1×10^(-15)

AIM:To evaluate the role of genetic factors in the pathogenesis of idiopathic infant ***:We performed a case-control study,in-cluding 78 infants with idiopathic infant cholestasis and 113 healthy infants as *** DNA was extracted from peripheral venous blood leukocytes us-ing phenol chloroform *** chain reaction was used to amplify the multidrug resistance protein 3(MDR3)R652G fragment,and products were sequenced using the ABI 3100 ***:The R652G single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)was significantly more frequent in healthy infants(allele frequency 8.0%)than in patients(allele frequency 2.60%)(P < 0.05),odds ratio,0.29;95% confidence interval,*** conjugated bilirubin in patients with the AG genotype was significantly lower than in those with the AA genotype(44.70 ± 6.15 μmol/L vs 95.52 ± 5.93 μmol/L,P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:MDR3 R652G is negatively correlated with idiopathic infant *** with the R652G SNP in Guangxi of China may have reduced susceptibility to infant intrahepatic cholestasis.

Based on the first 13.4 yr of Fermi science data in the energy range from 300 Me V to 500 Ge V,we discovered a bright Ge V gamma-ray source with a ~5.64σ detection,named Fermi J1242.5+3236,which has an offset of about0°.0996 from a nearby star-forming galaxy NGC *** using the 12 yr’ data,the detection significance of Fermi J1242.5+3236 is about 4.72σ.Fermi J1242.5+3236 is a steady point source without significant temporal variability and has a hard gamma-ray photon index of about-1.60 ± *** spatial offset and the hard gammaray spectrum disfavor this source as the diffuse gamma-ray emission from this *** new source might have a possible origin of an unidentified background blazar,which is more likely a high-synchrotron-peaked blazar for its hard gamma-ray photon index.A follow-up optical observation would help distinguish origin of Fermi J1242.5+3236.

As one class of the most important objects in the universe,magnetars can produce a lot of different frequency bursts including X-ray *** Cai et al.,75 X-ray bursts produced by magnetar SGR J1935+2154 during an active period in 2020 are published,including the duration and net photon counts of each burst,and waiting time based on the trigger time *** this paper,we utilize the power-law model,dN(x)/dx∝(x+x_0)~((-α)_x),to fit the cumulative distributions of these *** can be found that all the cumulative distributions can be well fitted,which can be interpreted by a self-organizing criticality ***,we check whether this phenomenon still exists in different energy bands and find that there is no obvious *** findings further confirm that the X-ray bursts from magnetars are likely to be generated by some self-organizing critical process,which can be explained by a possible magnetic reconnection scenario in magnetars.

The Chayu area is located at the southeastern margin of the qinghai-Tibet *** region was considered to be in the southeastward extension of the Lhasa Block,bounded by Nujiang suture zone in the north and Yarlung Zangbo suture zone in the *** Demala Group complex,a set of high-grade metamorphic gneisses widely distributed in the Chayu area,is known as the Precambrian metamorphic basement of the Lhasa Block in the *** to field-based investigations and microstructure analysis,the Demala Group complex is considered to mainly consist of banded biotite plagiogneisses,biotite quartzofeldspathic gneiss,granitic gneiss,amphibolite,mica schist,and quartz schist,with many leucogranite *** zircon U-Pb ages of two granitic gneiss samples are 205±1 Ma and 218±1 Ma,respectively,representing the ages of their *** zircons from two biotite plagiogneisses samples show core-rim *** U-Pb ages of the cores are mainly 644–446 Ma,1213–865 Ma,and 1780–1400 Ma,reflecting the age characteristics of clastic zircons during sedimentation of the original *** U-Pb ages of the rims are from 203±2 Ma to 190±1 Ma,which represent the age of *** zircon U-Pb ages of one sample taken from the leucogranite veins that cut through granitic gneiss foliation range from 24 Ma to 22 Ma,interpreted as the age of the anatexis in the Demala Group *** and muscovite separates were selected from the granitic gneiss,banded gneiss,and leucogranite veins for 40Ar/39Ar *** plateau ages of three muscovite samples are 16.56±0.21 Ma,16.90±0.21 Ma,and 23.40±0.31 Ma,and the plateau ages of four biotite samples are 16.70±0.24 Ma,16.14±0.19 Ma,15.88±0.20 Ma,and 14.39±0.20 *** mica Ar-Ar ages can reveal the exhumation and cooling history of the Demala Group *** with the previous research results of the Demala Group complex,the authors refer that the Demala Group complex should be a set of metamorphic *** complex in

Aim： To evaluate the relaxant effect of verapamil on human corpus cavernosum in vitro and to assess the drug＇s potential as a treatment for erectile dysfunction （ED）. Methods： Preparations of the human corpus cavernosum were obtained from recently deceased young men who had had normal erectile function. The isometric tension and detailed curves were recorded when contractions induced by 10 mmol/L phenylephrine were reduced by different doses of verapamil or the vehicle control （sterile water）. The tension of human corpus cavernosum preparations are described as a percentage of their top tension before adding verapamil or the vehicle. ANOVA and least significant difference tests were used for statistical analysis. Results： Doses of 1μmol/L, 10 μmol/L and 100 μmol/L verapamil resulted in relaxation of （35.28 ± 7.96）%, （55.91 ± 6.41）%, （85.68 ± 4.16）% after 30 min, respectively. The vehicle control at the same time point produced relaxation of （-0.06 ± 10.57）% （P 〈 0.05）. Conclusion： Verapamil is significantly effective in relaxing normal human corpus cavernous smooth muscle induced by phenylephrine in vitro and the relaxant effect depends on the concentration of verapamil. （Asian J Androl 2006 Mar; 8： 195-198）

Recent studies have suggested that abnormal acidification of lysosomes induces autophagic accumulation of amyloid-βin neurons,which is a key step in senile plaque ***,resto ring normal lysosomal function and rebalancing lysosomal acidification in neurons in the brain may be a new treatment strategy for Alzheimer's *** acetylation/deacetylation plays a central role in lysosomal ***,we show that inhibiting the classic microtubule deacetylase histone deacetylase 6 with an histone deacetylase 6 shRNA or thehistone deacetylase 6 inhibitor valproic acid promoted lysosomal reacidification by modulating V-ATPase assembly in Alzheimer's *** rthermore,we found that treatment with valproic acid markedly enhanced *** clearance of amyloid-βaggregates,and ameliorated cognitive deficits in a mouse model of Alzheimer's *** findings demonstrate a previously unknown neuroprotective mechanism in Alzheimer's disease,in which histone deacetylase 6 inhibition by valproic acid increases V-ATPase assembly and lysosomal acidification.
