The southern margin of the Gurbantunggut Desert,China,is characterized by alternating layers of aeolian and alluvial *** the characteristics of arenaceous sediment in this area is of significant importance for understanding the interactive processes of wind and water forces,as well as the provenance of ***,there are relatively few investigations on the characteristics of such sediment at *** this study,we researched three aeolian-alluvial interactive stratigraphic profiles and different types of surface sediment on the desert-oasis transitional zone of southern margin of the Gurbantunggut *** on the optically stimulated luminescence(OSL)dating of aeolian sand and analyses of quartz sand grain size and surface micro-texture,we explored the aeolian-alluvial environmental change at southern margin of the desert in Holocene,as well as the provenance of *** results indicated that the grain size characteristics of different types of sediment in the stratigraphic profiles were similar to those of modern dune sand,interdune sand,muddy desert surface soil,and riverbed *** frequency curves were unimodal or bimodal,and cumulative probability curves were two-segment or three-segment,mainly composed of suspension load and saltation *** quartz sand in the sediment at southern margin of the desert had undergone alternating transformation of various exogenic forces,with short transportation distance and time,and sedimentary environment was relatively *** Holocene,southern margin of the desert primarily featured braided river deposits,and during intermittent period of river activity,there were also aeolian deposits such as sand sheet deposits,stabilized dune deposits,and mobile dune *** provenance for Holocene alluvial deposits at southern margin of the desert remains relatively constant,with the debris of the tianshan Mountains being the primary *** sand is mainly near-source recharge,

The influence of Al3Zr particles on the hot compression behavior and processing map(PM)of Al-Cu-li based alloys under isothermal plane-strain compression in the temperature range of 400-500℃and at the strain rates of 0.01-10 s^-1 was *** corresponding microstructure was analyzed using optical microscopy(OM),electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The results showed that dynamic recovery(DRV)played a greater role than dynamic recrystallization(DRX)in dynamic *** low temperatures,the Al3Zr particles were the significant barriers to inhibit DRV and DRX grain *** the temperature reached 500℃,the Al3Zr particles readily spread along grain boundaries just like a necklace due to the dissolution of Al3Zr particles and rapid diffusion of Zr through grain boundary,resulting in generating the macroscopic cracks and forming an instability domain at 490-500℃,0.01 s^-1 in the PM.

Supported Pd based catalysts are considered as the efficient candidates for low-carbon alkane oxidation for their outstanding capability to break C-H bond. Whereas, the irreversible deactivation of Pd based catalysts was still frequently observed. Herein, we reinforced the extruded Pd nanoparticles with quantitive Pt to assemble the evenly distributed Pd Pt nanoalloy onto ferrite perovskite(Pd Pt-LCF) matrix with strengthened robustness of metal/oxide support interface. We further co-achieved the enhanced performance, anti-overoxidation as well as resistance of vapor-poisoning in durability measurement. The operando X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(O-XPS) combined with various morphology characterizations confirms that the accumulation of surface deep-oxidation species of Pd^(4+) is the culprit for fast activity loss in exsolved Pd system, especially at high temperature of 400 ℃. Conversely, it could be completely suppressed by in-situ alloying Pd with equal amount of Pt, which helps maintain the metastable Pd^(2+)/Pd shell and metallic solid-solution core structure. The density function theory(DFT) calculations further buttress that the dissociation of C–H was facilitated on alloy/perovskite interface which is, on the contrary, resistant toward O–H bond cleavage, as compared to Pd/perovskite. Our work suggests that the modification of exsolved metal/oxide catalytic interface could further enrich the toolkit of heterogeneous catalyst design.

The diameter distribution function(DDF)is a crucial tool for accurately predicting stand carbon storage(CS).The current key issue,however,is how to construct a high-precision DDF based on stand factors,site quality,and aridity index to predict stand CS in multi-species mixed forests with complex *** study used data from70 survey plots for mixed broadleaf Populus davidiana and Betula platyphylla forests in the Mulan Rangeland State Forest,Hebei Province,China,to construct the DDF based on maximum likelihood estimation and finite mixture model(FMM).Ordinary least squares(OLS),linear seemingly unrelated regression(LSUR),and back propagation neural network(BPNN)were used to investigate the influences of stand factors,site quality,and aridity index on the shape and scale parameters of DDF and predicted stand CS of mixed broadleaf *** results showed that FMM accurately described the stand-level diameter distribution of the mixed *** and *** forests;whereas the Weibull function constructed by MLE was more accurate in describing species-level diameter *** combined variable of quadratic mean diameter(Dq),stand basal area(BA),and site quality improved the accuracy of the shape parameter models of FMM;the combined variable of Dq,BA,and De Martonne aridity index improved the accuracy of the scale parameter *** to OLS and LSUR,the BPNN had higher accuracy in the re-parameterization process of ***,LSUR,and BPNN overestimated the CS of *** but underestimated the CS of *** in the large diameter classes(DBH≥18 cm).BPNN accurately estimated stand-and species-level CS,but it was more suitable for estimating stand-level CS compared to species-level CS,thereby providing a scientific basis for the optimization of stand structure and assessment of carbon sequestration capacity in mixed broadleaf forests.

在“双碳”目标的驱动下,我国居民高碳低效的能源消费现状已受到广泛的政策关注。尽管学术界对能源政策是否会影响个体的家庭行为或意图进行了较为深入的分析,但以往研究较少关注到能源政策是如何实施的,并假设个体在做出行为选择时已充分了解政策信息。研究将政策感知的概念纳入能源政策有效性的相关研究中,利用2018年中国综合社会调查的数据,采用Ordered Probit模型分析居民政策感知对家庭能源消费低碳化的影响。结果表明,居民政策感知对家庭能源消费低碳化转型具有显著正向影响,研究结果通过了更换被解释变量和改变样本容量的稳健性检验。异质性分析发现,居民政策感知对家庭能源消费低碳化的影响存在显著的性别、城乡和教育水平差异,其促进作用在男性、农村地区居住的居民和受教育程度较高的三类人群中尤为明显。研究强调了政策感知在家庭能源消费低碳化转型过程中的特殊作用,并进一步思考能源政策是否以及如何影响不同群体。

Vanadium oxide nanospheres encapsulated in N-doped carbon nanofibers with morphology and defect dual-engineering toward advanced aqueous zinc-ion batteries

Vanadium-based electrodes are regarded as attractive cathode materials in aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs)caused by their high capacity and unique layered ***,it is extremely challenging to acquire high electrochemical performance owing to the limited electronic conductivity,sluggish ion kinetics,and severe volume expansion during the insertion/extraction process of Zn^(2+).Herein,a series of V_(2)O_(3)nanospheres embedded N-doped carbon nanofiber structures with various V_(2)O_(3)spherical morphologies(solid,core-shell,hollow)have been designed for the first time by an electrospinning technique followed thermal *** N-doped carbon nanofibers not only improve the electrical conductivity and the structural stability,but also provides encapsulating shells to prevent the vanadium dissolution and aggregation of V_(2)O_(3)***,the varied morphological structures of V_(2)O_(3)with abundant oxygen vacancies can alleviate the volume change and increase the Zn^(2+)***,the phase transition between V_(2)O_(3)and Zn_XV_(2)O_(5-m)·n H_(2)O in the cycling was also *** a result,the as-obtained composite delivers excellent long-term cycle stability and enhanced rate performance for coin cells,which is also confirmed through density functional theory(DFT)*** assembled into flexible ZIBs,the sample still exhibits superior electrochemical performance,which may afford new design concept for flexible cathode materials of ZIBs.

For accurately identifying the distribution charac-teristic of Gaussian-like noises in unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)state estimation,this paper proposes a non-parametric scheme based on curve similarity *** the framework of the pro-posed scheme,a Parzen window(kernel density estimation,KDE)method on sliding window technology is applied for roughly esti-mating the sample probability density,a precise data probability density function(PDF)model is constructed with the least square method on K-fold cross validation,and the testing result based on evaluation method is obtained based on some data characteristic analyses of curve shape,abruptness and *** com-parison simulations with classical methods and UAV flight exper-iment shows that the proposed scheme has higher recognition accuracy than classical methods for some kinds of Gaussian-like data,which provides better reference for the design of Kalman filter(KF)in complex water environment.

NCAD v1.0: a database for non-coding variant annotation and interpretation

The application of whole genome sequencing is expanding in clinical diagnostics across various genetic disorders, and the significance of non-coding variants in penetrant diseases is increasingly being demonstrated. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the diagnostic yield by exploring the pathogenic mechanisms of variants in non-coding regions. However, the interpretation of non-coding variants remains a significant challenge, due to the complex functional regulatory mechanisms of non-coding regions and the current limitations of available databases and tools. Hence, we develop the non-coding variant annotation database (NCAD, http://***/), encompassing comprehensive insights into 665,679,194 variants, regulatory elements, and element interaction details. Integrating data from 96 sources, spanning both GRCh37 and GRCh38 versions, NCAD v1.0 provides vital information to support the genetic diagnosis of non-coding variants, including allele frequencies of 12 diverse populations, with a particular focus on the population frequency information for 230,235,698 variants in 20,964 Chinese individuals. Moreover, it offers prediction scores for variant functionality, five categories of regulatory elements, and four types of non-coding RNAs. With its rich data and comprehensive coverage, NCAD serves as a valuable platform, empowering researchers and clinicians with profound insights into non-coding regulatory mechanisms while facilitating the interpretation of non-coding variants.
