Synthesis and characterization of manganese tetroxide(Mn_(3)O_(4))nanofibers by electrospinning technique

Manganese tetroxide(Mn_(3)O_(4))nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning homogeneous viscous solution of 20 wt%,28 wt%and 36 wt%manganese acetate in poly vinyl alcohol(PVA)and calcining the nanofibers at 1000℃for 2 *** was carried out at 9 kV DC with tip to collector distance(TCD)of 7 *** gravimetric analysis(TGA)of the fibers indicates the pure phase of manganese oxide above 500℃.XRD analysis of calcined(at 1000℃)nanofibers indicates the formation of phase-pure tetragonal Mn_(3)O_(4).Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)studies show the fibers cylindrical with the diameters in the range of 100-600 nm and aspect ratio>*** general,the average diameter of the green fibers decreases with the increase in manganese acetate *** diameter of calcined nanofibers is reduced by 34%.

Ba_(0.85)Ca_(0.15)(Ti1−xZrx)O_(3)(BCTZ)ceramics with x=0.05,0.10,_(0.15),0.20,0.25,0.30 were prepared by the solid-state reaction *** of the powders was carried out at 1100°C for 4 h and the green pellets were sintered at 1400°C for 2 h.X-ray diffraction patterns of the sintered pellets showed tetragonal splitting up to x=0.10 while the mixture of the rhombohedral/cubic phase appeared at higher ZrO_(2)*** piezoelectric charge constant d33=510 pC/N and strain(S=0.103%)were measured for BCT doped by 0.10 mol ZrO_(2).Dielectric constant,remnant polarization and saturation polarization also found maxima for this *** Curie temperature(TC)of the compositions decreased with increase in ZrO_(2)concentration and reached 98°C,87°C and 36°C at x=0.05,0.10,_(0.15)mol,*** remaining compositions have TC below the room temperature;therefore,they can be used for subzero/cryogenic *** scanning electron microscopy study revealed an increase in grain size with increase in ZrO_(2)concentration and confirmed the complete solubility of ZrO_(2)in the crystal ***,low ZrO_(2)-doped BCT compositions with high d33 could be suitable for low temperature(<80°C)applications.

BACKGROUND Addressing oculoplastic conditions in the preoperative period ensures both the safety and functional success of any ophthalmic *** oculoplastic conditions,like nasolacrimal duct obstruction,have been extensively studied,whereas others,like eyelid malposition and thyroid eye disease,have received minimal or no *** To investigate the current practice patterns among ophthalmologists while treating concomitant oculoplastic conditions before any subspecialty ophthalmic *** A cross-sectional survey was disseminated among ophthalmologists all over *** survey included questions related to pre-operative evaluation,anaesthetic and surgical techniques preferred,post-operative care,the use of adjunctive therapies,and patient follow-up *** A total of 180 ophthalmologists responded to the *** practitioners(89%)felt that the ROPLAS test was sufficient during pre-operative evaluation before any subspecialty surgery was *** most common surgical techniques employed were lacrimal drainage procedures(Dacryocystorhinostomy)(63.3%),eyelid malposition repair(36.9%),and ptosis repair(58.7%).Post-operatively,47.7%of respondents emphasized that at least a 4-week gap should be maintained after lacrimal drainage procedures and eyelid ***-seven percent of ophthalmologists felt that topical anaesthetic procedures should be preferred while performing ocular surgeries in thyroid eye disease *** Approximately 50%of ophthalmologists handle prevalent oculoplastic issues themselves,seeking the expertise of an oculoplastic surgeon under particular *** ophthalmologists still favor using ROPLAS as a preliminary screening method before proceeding with cataract *** conditions and thyroid eye disease are not as commonly addressed before subspecialty procedures compared to issues like nasolacrimal duct obstruction and periocular infections.

Several challenges are encountered while integrating microgrids(MGs)with an existing utility *** are low inertia,intermittent nature of renewable energy resources(RESs),sensor and actuator faults,unbalanced and nonlinear loads,supply-demand mismatch,and uncertain switching functions of the power electronic *** control is fully dependent on the communication network,which is also susceptible to different types of failures such as noise in communication links,communication delay,limited bandwidth,packet dropout,and various malicious cyber *** few papers are available in the literature that focus on the review of control schemes for ***,this paper presents a comprehensive review of different robust and adaptive control schemes that address the challenges encountered due to communication constraints,uncertainties,and disturbances for different MG topologies such as AC,DC,and hybrid AC/DC MGs,as well as the current research trends in the field of robust and adaptive *** can be concluded that to achieve control objectives of MG and overcome the existing challenges,robust and adaptive controllers show significantly improved performance in terms of transient and steady-state behavior and robustness as compared to traditional controllers.

Previously we reported the synthesis of novel organic-inorganic compo- site indium tin oxide （ITO） foam precursor leading to the formation of ＂sponge-like＂ ITO by burning away the organics, This newly made sponge-like ITO possesses relatively high electrical conductivity due to phonon confinement with reasonable pore structure and may have potential application as functional materials in semiconducting dye absorbing layer in dye-sensitized solar cell （DSSC） and also as the receptor of electrons injected from the quantum dots （QDs） of organic-inorganic hybrid QD based solar cell. In the present article, the linear and the nonlinear deformation behaviour of functionally graded （FG） spherical shell panel are examined under thermomechanical load. The temperature- dependent effective material properties of FG shell panel are evaluated using Voigt＇s micro-mechanical rule in conjunction with power-law distribution. The nonlinear mathematical model of the FG shell panel is developed based on higher-order shear deformation theory and Green-Lagrange type geometrical nonlinearity. The desired nonlinear governing equation of the FG shell panel is computed using the variational principle. The model is discretised through suitable nonlinear finite element steps and solved using direct iterative method. The convergence and the val- idation behaviour of the present numerical model are performed to show the efficacy of the model. The effect of different parameters on the nonlinear deformation behaviour of FG spherical shell panel is highlighted by solving numerous examples.

Partial shadings cause output power reduction from Photovoltaic(PV)arrays due to mismatch *** selection of PV array configurations play a vital role in maximum power *** paper proposes a novel Triple-Tied-Cross-Linked(T-T-C-L)configuration to extract maximum power with a lesser number of cross ties than a Total-Cross-Tied(T-C-T)*** performance of the proposed T-T-C-L configuration has been compared with various conventional PV array configurations,such as Series(S),Parallel(P),Series-Parallel(S-P),Bridge-Link(B-L),Honey-Comb(H-C),and T-C-T under Partial Shading Conditions(PSCs)by considering the 9×9 PV *** PSCs considered are uneven row,column,diagonal,random,short&narrow,short&wide,long&narrow,long&wide shadings and uniform half module *** measures,such as open circuit voltage,short circuit current,maximum power,voltages and currents at maximum power,mismatch losses,fill factor and efficiency have been used for performance analysis of various *** the results,it can be concluded that the performance of the proposed T-T-C-L configuration is optimal compared to other configurations.

Increasing demands for improvement in power quality and power capacity have contributed to development of switched-capacitor multilevel inverters(SCMLIs).Recently developed SCMLIs enable single-stage voltage boosting,as well as inversion resulting in step-up ac *** reduction in number of components,this paper introduces a boost type singlesource nine-level(9-level)SCMLI employing two capacitors and three *** to the series-parallel connection process,capacitor voltages are inherently balanced and assist in quadruple voltage boosting from a *** voltage stress across semiconductor devices is limited to twice input voltage *** a minimum number of components,the proposed SCMLI can be extended to increase voltage levels without additional dc *** extension module adds two additional voltage steps in the output while maintaining maximum voltage stress the same as 9-level *** by in-depth analysis of circuit operation and power losses,a thorough comparison of recently developed single-phase 9-level MLIs is carried out,which verifies design *** simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the prominent features of the 9-level SCMLI under dynamic operating conditions.
