DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1), one of the main epigenetic targets, is involved in the duplication of the DNA methylation pattern during replication, and it is essential for proper mammalian development. Small molecule DNMT1 modulators are attractive for biochemical epigenetic studies and have the potential to become drugs. So far, more than five hundred small molecules have been reported as DNMT1 inhibitors. However, only a limited number of DNMT1 activators have been disclosed because, at least in part, DNMT1 activators are typically regarded as negative data in virtual screening campaigns or optimization projects. This manuscript aims to report the chemical structures and biological activity of small molecules that increase the enzymatic activity of DNMT1. Results of the biochemical experimental assays are discussed. It was found that small molecule activators have a large variety of chemical scaffolds but share pharmacophore features. Visual analysis of the chemical space and multiverse based on molecular fingertips supported that activators are structurally diverse. This is the first report of eight small molecules that increase the enzymatic activity of DNMT1 by more than 400% in an enzymatic-based assay. The outcome warrants further investigation of the epigenetic activity of the compounds in a counter-screen assay, e.g., cell-based and in vivo context.

BACKGROUND The prevalence of heart failure(HF)increases with age,and it is one of the leading causes of hospitalization and death in older ***,there are little data on in-hospital mortality in patients with HF≥75 years in *** A retrospective analysis of the Spanish Minimum Basic Data Set was performed,including all HF episodes discharged from public hospitals in Spain between 2016 and *** was performed using the International Classification of Diseases,10th ***≥75 years with HF as the principal diagnosis were *** calculated:(1)the crude in-hospital mortality rate and its distribution according to age and sex;(2)the risk-standardized in-hospital mortality ratio;and(3)the association between in-hospital mortality and the availability of an intensive cardiac care unit(ICCU)in the *** We included 354,792 HF episodes of patients over 75 *** mean age was 85.2±5.5 years,and 59.2%of patients were *** most frequent comorbidities were renal failure(46.1%),diabetes mellitus(35.5%),valvular disease(33.9%),cardiorespiratory failure(29.8%),and hypertension(26.9%).In-hospital mortality was 12.7%,and increased with age[odds ratio(OR)=1.07,95%CI:1.07–1.07,P<0.001]and was lower in women(OR=0.96,95%CI:0.92–0.97,P<0.001).The main predictors of mortality were the presence of cardiogenic shock(OR=19.5,95%CI:16.8–22.7,P<0.001),stroke(OR=3.5,95%CI:3.0–4.0,P<0.001)and advanced cancer(OR=2.6,95%CI:2.5–2.8,P<0.001).In hospitals with ICCU,the in-hospital risk-adjusted mortality tended to be lower(OR=0.85,95%CI:0.72–1.00,P=0.053).CONCLUSIONS In-hospital mortality in patients with HF≥75 years between 2016 and 2019 was 12.7%,higher in males and elderly *** main predictors of mortality were cardiogenic shock,stroke,and advanced *** was a trend toward lower mortality in centers with an ICCU.

近几十年中,中国的飞速发展引起了全球许多公司和企业家的关注,他们有意迈入中国这个充满活力但竞争激烈的市场。在此背景下,西班牙设计师在上海创立了年轻时装品牌Zurita Madrid。该品牌所处的行业在2018年的估值超过1.5万亿人民币,成千上万的品牌相互竞争,希望能吸引到更多的客户群。本文基于Zurita的社会积极性和环保举措,研究其营销策略、与顾客的关系以及品牌本身。为更好地了解该品牌的策略和工作背景,本文采用一手数据和二手数据(包括网络资料和出版书籍)开展研究。文献综述部分集中于客户参与理论的背景和现状,同时分析了该公司营销策略的核心内容——企业社会责任理论(CSR)。此外,作者还通过问卷调查开展了一项实证研究,以了解客户对中国企业社会责任的看法。尽管Zurita在社会和环保活动上投入了诸多资源,但经过对其社交网络和网络形象的深入分析,本文发现这些投入并未增加粉丝数量和网络影响力。本文采用了PESTEL、SWOT分析等策略及品牌识别棱柱模型等工具,判断这一结果的出现源于中国市场特征或是该公司的营销能力仍然有待提高。本研究创新性地重点关注了Zurita Madrid营销策略的特定要素。该公司的日常活动及营销活动都涉及大量的企业社会责任,这在时尚界十分罕见。有关外国公司在中国运营的英语研究也很少,因此我们希望弥补这一领域的空白。作者在研究中观察了公司改进营销策略的哪些内容可以提高客户参与度。调查结果以及其他建议的运用有望在保持对企业社会责任关注的同时,增强并改善公司的营销成果,提高收益。本文还为管理人员提供了一项包括人力资源在内的实施计划,并在结尾处呈现研究结论、研究过程的局限性,以及研究的进一步方向。

We consider the problem K（x）Uxx = utt , 0 〈 x 〈 1, t 〉 0, with the boundary condition u（O,t） = g（t） E LZ（R） and ux（O,t） = 0, where K（x） is continuous and 0 〈α≤ K （x）〈＋∞. This is an ill-posed problem in the sense that, if the solution exists, it does not depend continuously on g. Considering the existence of a solution u（x, .） E H2（R） and using a wavelet Galerkin method with Meyer multiresolution analysis, we regularize the ill-posedness of the problem. Furthermore we prove the uniqueness of the solution for this problem.

Herpes zoster(HZ) infection occurs in approximately 10% to 30% of individuals. Visceral neuropathies secondary to HZ can cause cystitis and urinary retention. But colonic pseudo-obstruction can also occur. Peripheral neuropathy may reveal segmental motor paresis of either upper or lower limbs, the abdominal muscles or the diaphragm. We report the case of a 62-year-old male patient who presented with abdominal distention and cutaneous vesicular eruption on the left side of the abdominal wall. Plain X-rays and computed tomography scan showed distended small bowel. A diagnosis of intestinal pseudo-obstruction was made secondary to segmental paresis of the small intestine and visceral neuropathy. Conservative management was successful and the patient was discharged uneventfully. Intestinal pseudo-obstruction ought to be consideredwhen dealing with non-obstructive(adynamic) conditions of the digestive tract associated with HZ infection; since early recognition may help to avoid unnecessary surgery.
