Molecular frame photoemission is a very sensitive probe of the photoionization （PI） dynamics of molecules. This paper reports a comparative study of non-resonant and resonant photoionization of d2 induced by VUV circularly polarized synchrotron radiation at SOLEIL at the level of the molecular frame photoelectron angular distributions （MFPAds）. We use the vector correlation method which combines imaging and time-of-flight resolved electron-ion coincidence techniques, and a generalized formalism for the expression of the Ⅰ（χ, θe, Фe） MFPAds, where χ is the orientation of the molecular axis with respect to the light quantization axis and （θe, Фe） the electron emission direction in the molecular frame. Selected MFPAds for a molecule aligned parallel or perpendicular to linearly polarized light, or perpendicular to the propagation axis of circularly polarized light, are presented for dissociative photoionization （dPI） of d2 at two photon excitation energies, hv=19 eV, where direct PI is the only channel opened, and hv=32.5 eV, i.e. in the region involving resonant excitation of Q1 and Q2 doubly excited state series. We discuss in particular the properties of the circular dichroism characterizing photoemission in the molecular frame for direct and resonant PI. In the latter case, a remarkable behavior is observed which may be attributed to the interference occurring between undistinguishable autoionization decay channels.

The present study compared eight breeds of cattle differing in gender （heifers, buls and steers） to determine associations between muscle characteristics and meat sensory qualities of theLongissimus thoracis muscle. Animal types differed in al the muscle characteristics and sensory qualities. Many correlations among muscle characteristics and among sensory qualities were consistent for most animal types. Isocitrate dehydrogenase （ICdH） activities alowed discrimination of muscles with respect to myosin heavy chain （MyHC）-I proportions for al animal types. Lactate dehydrogenase （LdH） and phos-phofructokinase （PFK） activities were positively correlated for most animal types. Overal liking was correlated with beef lfavour and abnormal lfavour in al animal types and with global tenderness for al animal types except for Charolais cross breed steers. For al animal types except for Angus×Friesian heifers, beef lfavour and abnormal lfavour were negatively correlated. Overal liking was not correlated with juiciness. PFK, ICdH and citrate synthase （CS） activities were strongly associated with tenderness, beef lfavour and overal liking when average values for al animal types were used. However, associations between muscle characteristics and sensory qualities within animal types were weak and inconsistent.

We discovered a high-level amplicon involving the ehrl9ql3.41 microRNA (miRNA) duster (C19MC) in 11/45 (approximately 25%) primary CNS-PNET, which results in striking overexpression of nfiR-517c and 520g. Constitutive expression of miR-517c or 520g protnotes in vitro and in vivo oncogenicity, modulates cell survival, and robustly enhances growth of untransformed human neural stem cells (hNSCs) in part by upregulating WNT pathway signaling and restricting differentiation of hNSCs.

Bone is the second most commonly transplanted tissue worldwide,with over four million operations using bone grafts or bone substitute materials annually to treat bone ***,significant limitations affect current treatment options and clinical demand for bone grafts continues to rise due to conditions such as trauma,cancer,infection and *** bioactive three-dimensional(3d)scaffolds to support bone regeneration has therefore become a key area of focus within bone tissue engineering(BTE).A variety of materials and manufacturing methods including 3d printing have been used to create novel alternatives to traditional bone ***,individual groups of materials including polymers,ceramics and hydrogels have been unable to fully replicate the properties of bone when used *** material properties can be combined and bioactivity improved when groups of materials are used together in composite 3d *** review will therefore consider the ideal properties of bioactive composite 3d scaffolds and examine recent use of polymers,hydrogels,metals,ceramics and bio-glasses in *** fabrication methodology,mechanical performance,biocompatibility,bioactivity,and potential clinical translations will be discussed.

Transposable elements(TEs)have been shown to have important gene regulatory functions and their alteration could lead to disease *** myeloid leukemia(AML)develops as a consequence of a series of genetic changes in hematopoietic precursor cells,including mutations in epigenetic ***,we set out to study the gene regulatory role of TEs in *** first explored the epigenetic landscape of TEs in AML patients using ATAC-seq *** show that a large number of TEs in general,and more specifically mammalian-wide interspersed repeats(MIRs),are more enriched in AML cells than in normal blood *** obtained a similar finding when analyzing histone modification data in AML *** Ontology enrichment analysis showed that genes near MIRs in open chromatin regions are involved in *** functionally validate their regulatory role,we selected 19 MIR regions in AML cells,and tested them for enhancer activity in an AML cell line(Kasumi-1)and a chronic myeloid leukemia(CML)cell line(K562);the results revealed several MIRs to be functional *** together,our results suggest that TEs are potentially involved in myeloid leukemogenesis and highlight these sequences as potential candidates harboring AML-associated variation.

Meat-grain-size (MGS) assessment is an empirical method for the early prediction of meat quality, a larger grain being synonymous with higher meat tenderness. The objective was to characterize 4 muscles (longissimus thoracis LT;rectus abdominis RA;longus colli LC;diaphragma d) of 5 coarse and 5 fine carcasses in terms of MGS in order to establish a link between muscular physicochemical properties and carcass MGS score. All comparisons were made of samples with similar fat content. The broiled sample hardness (shear force) was significantly higher for the coarse group than for the fine group (7.20 vs 5.89 kg;RA). Higher collagen content (27.94 vs 24.87 mg/g of dry matter in LT muscle;15.86 vs 13.13 mg/g of dry matter in d muscle), higher oxidative metabolism (cytochrome-c oxidase;LT and d) but also higher glycolytic metabolism (lactate dehydrogenase;LT) were also observed in the coarse groups. Not all the muscles react in a similar way depending on the MGS group. Nevertheless, significant results are constant from one muscle to another, the RA being the only muscle for which the difference in hardness between the two groups is significant.

Mafic and ultramafic intrusions observed in the Archean formations of the Sipilou region exhibit occurrences of polymetallic sulphide. Mapping, petrographic and geochemical studies have defined magnetic facies associated with the various geological units. The results of this work reveal that cupronickel sulphides, olivines and pyroxenes as well as spinels are related to ultrabasic formations where strong magnetic facies prevail. Iron sulphides and magnetite are linked to quartzo-feldspathic and jotunite-enderbite formations, which are characterised by moderate magnetic facies. The latter are thought to be derived from anatexite remobilisation within Archean granulites, which have weak magnetic facies.
