Fabrication of Molecularly Imprinted Electrospun Nanofibers with Mono-amidoxime Functional Ligand for Efficient Decontamination of Toxic Organophosphates

There is an urgent imperative to discover practical and efficacious artificial catalysts for the expeditious decontamination of toxic organophosphates. Herein, we propose a novel molecularly imprinted approach utilizing electrospun fiber scaffolds. Specifically, an amidoxime-based functional polymer (PMAOX) has been synthesized, which contains amidoxime groups that can act as nucleophiles and ligands for the formation of catalytic active sites. This polymer was blended with polyacrylonitrile (PAN), a well-processable material, to prepare a nanofiber mat using electrospinning techniques. Then, the amidoxime side groups on fiber surface were further cross-linked after the molecular coordination of templates to complete the molecularly imprinting process. This approach can not only enhance the content of functional molecularly imprinted polymers without affecting structural stability, but also combines surface MI technology to fully expose and leverage the advantages of active sites. The as prepared molecularly imprinted electrospun nanofibers MIF-Zn-PMAOX/PAN-6/4 catalyzes the degradation of paraoxon with a half-life of 32 min, and MIF-Ag-PMAOX/PAN catalyzes the degradation of parathion with a half-life of 18 min. The maximum catalytic rate evidence rate enhancements nearly 3700-fold of the self-hydrolysis. Thus, the mono-amidoxime based molecularly imprinted fibers demonstrate the versatility and superiority as self-detoxifying for organophosphates.

Experimental and first-principles calculation of TiN growth mechanism on CeAlO_(3) surface in steel

Regular TiN is harmful to the toughness of steel,and its shape and size need to be *** the behavior of TiN precipitation on CeAlO_(3) surfaces is critical for controlling the morphology and formation process of CeAlO_(3)–TiN composite inclusions in the *** results showed that TiN had a square morphology on the CeAlO3 surface,and electron backscatter diffraction phase identification results revealed the orientation relationship between CeAlO_(3) and TiN as follows:(001)_(CeAlO_(3))//(110)_(TiN),(100)_(CeAlO_(3))/(001)_(TiN),and[010]_(CeAlO_(3))/[110]_(TiN).The CeAlO3 crystal structure was studied using the first-principles calculation method,and the adsorption and growth process of TiN on the CeAlO_(3) surface were investigated from the atomic *** calculation results indicate that there is no metallic bonding present in the CeAlO_(3) *** the low-index crystal planes of CeAlO_(3),the(110)planes terminated with O and CeAlO have the highest and lowest surface energies,respectively,with values of 0.373 and 0.051 eV/Å^(2).On the high surface energy plane of CeAlO_(3),the TiN atomic permutation structure is consistent with the arrangement of Ti and N atoms in TiN(100)or(110).For the low surface energy plane of CeAlO_(3),the Ti and N atoms are arranged in a ring-like structure.

In vivo imaging reveals a synchronized correlation among neurotransmitter dynamics during propofol and sevoflurane anesthesia

General anesthesia is widely applied in clinical ***,the precise mechanism of loss of consciousness induced by general anesthetics remains ***,we measured the dynamics of five neurotransmitters,includingγ-aminobutyric acid,glutamate,norepinephrine,acetylcholine,and dopamine,in the medial prefrontal cortex and primary visual cortex of C57BL/6 mice through in vivo fiber photometry and genetically encoded neurotransmitter sensors under anesthesia to reveal the mechanism of general anesthesia from a neurotransmitter *** revealed that the concentrations of γ-aminobutyric acid,glutamate,norepinephrine,and acetylcholine increased in the cortex during propofol-induced loss of *** levels did not change following the hypnotic dose of propofol but increased significantly following surgical doses of propofol ***,the concentrations of the five neurotransmitters generally decreased during sevoflurane-induced loss of ***,the neurotransmitter dynamic networks were not synchronized in the non-anesthesia groups but were highly synchronized in the anesthetic *** findings suggest that neurotransmitter dynamic network synchronization may cause anesthetic-induced loss of consciousness.

The volume fractions and morphology of precipitates in precipitation-strengthened Cu-Ti alloys,which precipitate mainly as continuous and discontinuous precipitates,are important for the application of the *** study employed hardness and electrical conductivity tests transmission electron microscopy(TEM),atom probe tomography(APT),and first-principles calculations to demonstrate that the addition of Mg is effective for accelerating nanosized continuousβ'-Cu_(4)Ti precipitation as well as for suppressing the precipitation of coarse lamellar discontinuousβ-Cu_(4)Ti precipitates along the grain boundaries,resulting in Cu-Ti alloys with high yield strength and good electrical *** results showed that the continuous precipitation ofβ'-Cu_(4)Ti was accelerated by the Mg additions,which reduced the supersaturation of the matrix,thereby reducing the chemical driving force for the discontinuous *** the other hand,Mg additions increased the mismatch between the discontinuousβ-Cu_(4)Ti precipitates and matrix decreased the nucleation rate of the discontinuous precipitates,and increased the spacing of the discontinuous precipitation layer,resulting in a lower growth rate of the discontinuous ***,the addition of Mg to Cu-Ti alloys enhances the strength and improves the resistance to over-ageing.

Objective:The aim of this study was to explore the effects of Babao dan(BBD),a traditional Chinese medicine,on gastric cancer(GC)progression in *** and Methods:A subcutaneous xenograft mouse model of GC was established using MGC80-3 *** terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP:2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate-biotin nick-end labeling method was adopted to detect cell apoptosis in *** expression levels of proteins associated with proliferation,apoptosis,and angiogenesis were measured by immunohistochemical staining or western blotting(WB).The activation and protein levels of p-c-jun N-terminal kinase(JNK),p-p38,p-extracellular-regulated kinase 1/2,p-nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB),and p-STAT3 were examined by Bio-plex and ***:BBD significantly inhibited tumor growth in GC mouse models with no adverse effect on body weight or organ *** was also found that BBD significantly suppressed the proliferation of GC tumor cells,induced the apoptosis of tumor cells,and inhibited angiogenesis through inactivating with mitogen-activated protein kinase,NF-κB,and STAT3 ***:BBD exerts suppressive effects on GC tumor growth by regulating multiple pathways in vivo,which may provide a novel treatment option for GC therapy.

Electroacupuncture Promotes Functional Recovery after Facial Nerve Injury in Rats by Regulating Autophagy via GDNF and PI3K/m TOR Signaling Pathway

Objective:To explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture(EA) in promoting recovery of the facial function with the involvement of autophagy,glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF),and phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)/mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) signaling ***:Seventy-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly allocated into the control,sham-operated,facial nerve injury(FNI),EA,EA+3-methyladenine(3-MA),and EA+GDNF antagonist groups using a random number table,with 12 rats in each *** FNI rat model was established with facial nerve crushing *** intervention was conducted at Dicang(ST 4),Jiache(ST 6),Yifeng(SJ 17),and Hegu(LI 4) acupoints for 2 *** Simone’s 10-Point Scale was utilized to monitor the recovery of facial *** histopathological evaluation of facial nerves was performed using hematoxylin-eosin(HE) *** levels of Beclin-1,light chain 3(LC3),and P62 were detected by immunohistochemistry(IHC),immunofluorescence,and reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction,***,IHC was also used to detect the levels of GDNF,Rai,PI3K,and ***:The facial functional scores were significantly increased in the EA group than the FNI group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).HE staining showed nerve axons and myelin sheaths,which were destroyed immediately after the injury,were recovered with EA *** expressions of Beclin-1 and LC3 were significantly elevated and the expression of P62 was markedly reduced in FNI rats(P<0.01);however,EA treatment reversed these abnormal changes(P<0.01).Meanwhile,EA stimulation significantly increased the levels of GDNF,Rai,PI3K,and mTOR(P<0.01).After exogenous administration with autophagy inhibitor 3-MA or GDNF antagonist,the repair effect of EA on facial function was attenuated(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions:EA could promote the recovery of facial function and repair the facial nerve damages in a rat model of *** may exert this neuroreparative effect through

Magnesium lithospermate B enhances the potential of human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes for myocardial repair

Background: We previously reported that activation of the cell cycle in human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMs) enhances their remuscularization capacity after human cardiac muscle patch transplantation in infarcted mouse hearts. Herein, we sought to identify the effect of magnesium lithospermate B (MLB) on hiPSC-CMs during myocardial repair using a myocardial infarction (MI) mouse ***: In C57BL/6 mice, MI was surgically induced by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery. The mice were randomly divided into five groups (n = 10 per group); a MI group (treated with phosphate-buffered saline only), a hiPSC-CMs group, a MLB group, a hiPSC-CMs + MLB group, and a Sham operation group. Cardiac function and MLB therapeutic efficacy were evaluated by echocardiography and histochemical staining 4 weeks after surgery. To identify the associated mechanism, nuclear factor (NF)-κB p65 and intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM1) signals, cell adhesion ability, generation of reactive oxygen species, and rates of apoptosis were detected in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and ***: After 4 weeks of transplantation, the number of cells that engrafted in the hiPSC-CMs + MLB group was about five times higher than those in the hiPSC-CMs group. Additionally, MLB treatment significantly reduced tohoku hospital pediatrics-1 (THP-1) cell adhesion, ICAM1 expression, NF-κB nuclear translocation, reactive oxygen species production, NF-κB p65 phosphorylation, and cell apoptosis in HUVECs cultured under hypoxia. 襄阳东站屋盖南北向长358m,东西向最大跨度86m,采用焊接球钢网架,整体不设变形缝,南端开设瀑布造型大洞口,由于屋盖结构超长、不连续、大悬挑及瀑布造型使得钢屋盖空间受力十分复杂,特在分叉柱柱顶沿南北向设置加强杆以加强屋盖瀑布区洞口两侧边缘约束刚度及改善结构整体受力性能。钢屋盖瀑布区悬挑端分叉柱柱顶节点相连杆件达12根之多,该节点作为屋盖结构的关键节点,其受力状态尤为复杂,创新地采用了半铸造半相贯焊连接形式并采取了构造加强措施,针对该超多杆连接节点进行了足尺模型加载试验验证,详细介绍了试验加载装置、加载方案、试验现象及试验结果,并进行了有限元对比分析。结果表明有限元对比分析结果与加载试验吻合较好;该超多杆半铸造半相贯焊连接节点构造合理、承载力高,薄弱部位出现在与铸造本体相连的接长钢管上,满足强节点弱构件、强连接弱构件的设计要求。

锚托板支护结构因为其安全稳定、经济和安装简便等优点在填方加固边坡中得到推广应用。然而目前在锚托板支护结构设计过程中,锚托板尺寸仍没有成熟的计算方法,设计过于保守。利用对数螺旋线滑移面结合极限平衡法计算得到非饱和土的主动土压力。根据土体内部平衡求出每层锚托板所需承担的拉力,得到了锚托板尺寸的计算方法,根据滑移面的位置得到了锚托板自由段拉杆的最小设计长度。将主动土压力计算结果与现有的经典文献进行了对比分析,发现主动土压力系数变化趋势与现有结论一致。分析了降雨工况和地震工况对锚托板尺寸的影响,结果表明,在降雨强度较小时对锚托板锚固尺寸的影响可以忽略,但在同时考虑强降雨和地震时,会显著增加所需的锚托板锚固尺寸,最大增大幅度可达136.71%。分析结果可为锚托板锚固尺寸的设计提供参考。
