Tan spot(TS) and Septoria nodorum blotch(SNB), caused by Pyrenophora tritici-repentis and Parastagonospora nodorum, respectively, are important fungal leaf-spotting diseases of wheat that cause significant losses in grain yield. In this study, two recombinant inbred line populations, ‘Bartai’ × ‘Ciano T79’(referred to as B × C) and ‘Cascabel’ × ‘Ciano T79’(C × C) were tested for TS and SNB response in order to determine the genetic basis of seedling resistance. Genotyping was performed with the DAr Tseq genotypingby-sequencing(GBS) platform. A chromosome region on 5 AL conferred resistance to TS and SNB in both populations, but the effects were larger in B × C(R^2= 11.2%–16.8%) than in C × C(R^2= 2.5%–9.7%). Additionally, the chromosome region on 5BL(presumably Tsn1)was significant for both TS and SNB in B × C but not in C × C. Quantitative trait loci(QTL)with minor effects were identified on chromosomes 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 4D, 5A, 5B, 5D, 6B,and 6D. The two CIMMYT breeding lines ‘Bartai’ and ‘Cascabel’ contributed resistance alleles at both 5AL and 5BL QTL mentioned above. The QTL on 5AL showed linkage with the Vrn-A1 locus, whereas the vrn-A1 allele conferring lateness was associated with resistance to TS and SNB.

The emergence and spread of wheat blast caused by fungal pathogen Magnaporthe oryzae pathotype Triticum is a threat to global wheat *** resistance level and genetic loci for blast resistance in Chinese germplasm remain unknown.A panel of 266 bread wheat accessions from China,CIMMYTMexico and other countries was screened for head blast resistance under 12 field experiments in Bolivia and ***,a genome-wide association study was performed to understand the genetic basis of wheat blast *** average blast index of all the accessions was 53.7%±12.7%,and 10 accessions including Chinese accessions Yumai 10 and Yu 02321 showed moderate to high levels of blast resistance,accounting for only 3.8%in the ***-eight significant SNPs clustered in a 28.9 Mb interval on the 2 AS/2 NS translocation region,explaining phenotypic variation between10.0%and 35.0%.The frequency of the 2 AS/2 NS translocation in the Chinese accessions was as low as4.5%.These results indicated that the 2 NS fragment was the only major locus conferring resistance to wheat blast in this panel,and the resistant and moderately resistant lines identified could be deployed in breeding.

Nowadays,it is concern for researchers that due to high recombination rate of photogenerated charge carriers in tungsten trioxide(WO_(3)) nanoparticles,the future applications are limited in the field of *** we attempt to synthesize tungsten trioxide nanoparticles with different doping concentrations of lanthanum i.e.2 wt%,4 wt%,6 wt% and 8 wt%.The synthesized samples were characterized by using various characterization techniques:X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),photoluminescence spectra(PL),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX) and UV-Vis ***_(3) retains its monoclinic structure even after doping which was confirmed by XRD *** helps to descry functional groups present in the *** size of nanoparticles was calculated by using *** confirms the absence of any impurity in the synthesized *** spectroscopy confirms the presence of a large number of imperfections induced in the lattice of WO_(3).The rate of recombination was analyzed by photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy and is minimum in 4 wt% doping of *** optical bandgap was calculated using UV-Vis spectroscopy and becomes narrow along with the doping ***,it is found that doping of La in WO_(3) has considerably ameliorate the photocatalytic activity by reducing rate of recombination due to the trapping of electrons by defects introduced in the *** decolorization of Rhodamine B(RhB) dye was performed and the values of c/c_0 and rate constant(k) confirm that the 4 wt% doping shows maximum degradation *** kinetic study for photodegradation of Rhodamine B was done by using various kinetic models and results show that the reaction follows first order kinetics very ***,optimum doping of lanthanum increases the decolorization ability of WO_(3) towards RhB dye.

The role of forests is being actively considered under the agenda of REDD＋（Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation plus） aimed at reducing emissions related to changes in forest cover and forest quality. Forests in general have undergone negative changes in the past in the form of deforestation and degradation, while in some countries positive changes are reported in the form of conservation, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of carbon stock. The present study in the kashmir Himalayan forests is an effort to assess historical forest cover changes that took place from 1980 to 2009 and to predict the same for 2030 on the basis of past trend using geospatial modeling approach. Landsat data （Multispectral Scanner （MSS）, Thematic Mapper （TM） and Enhanced Thematic Mapper （ETM＋）） was used for the years 1980, 199o and （2001, 2009） respectively and change detection analysis between the dates was performed. The maps generated were validated through ground truthing. The study area （3375.62 km^2） from 1980-2009 has uffered deforestation and forest degradation of about 126 km^2 and 239.02 km^2 respectively which can be claimed under negative options of REDD＋, while as the area that experienced no change （1514 km^2） can be claimed under conservation. A small area （23.31 km^2） observed as positive change can be claimed under positive options. The projected estimates of forest cover for 2030 showed increased deforestation and forest degradation on the basis of trend analysis using Cellular Automata （CA） Markov modeling. Despite the fact that country as a whole has registered a net positive change in the past few decades, but there are regions like kashmir region of western Himalaya which have constantly undergoing deforestation as well as degradation in the past few decades.

In the northeastern(NE) Arabian Sea,the fluctuation in terrestrial and freshwater runoff directly depends on southwest monsoon(SWM) precipitation as well as the meltwater flux provided by Indus ***,analysis of multi-proxy spectral signatures was carried out to trace the high-resolution SWM periodicities and their influence on the productivity,regional sea level fluctuations and depositional processes in the NE Arabian *** time series data of stable isotopes of oxygen(δ^18 O(***)).carbon(δ^13 C(***) and δ^13 C(org)) and nitrogen(δ^15 N).Total Organic Carbon(TOC),planktic-benthic foraminiferal ratio(P/B ratio) and>63 μm coarse fraction(CF) were used from two coastal sedimentary cores located offshore Saurashtra,NE Arabian Sea(Core Sk-240/485 having 88 m water depth;Core GC/Sk-240/496 having 174 m water depth).The REDFIT based spectral analysis recorded significant periodicities(>90% significance) in δ^18 0 time series centered at^1609,~667,~525,~296,~290 and^256 ***,the significant periodicities recorded in carbon isotopes time series(δ^13 C(***) and δ^13 C(org))centered at^681,~512,~471,~452,~438,~360,~292,~275,~269,~245 and^209 *** significant periodicities in TOC include^471 and-322 years whereas δ^15 N time series recorded significant periodicity centered at-360 *** significant periodicities in P/B ratio time series centered at^512,~388,~304,~250,~235,~217,~152,~139 and^135 years while CF recorded^268,~216,~209,~198,~188,~173 and^140 years significant *** observed periodicities in the multi-proxy record consist of similar cycles(within the radiocarbon dating error) which also natch with previously reported solar insolation influenced SWM and other global and regional ***,the stationarity of the data has been verified using wavelet analysis and shows similar periodicities as observed in REDFIT ***,the depositional behaviour was studied using correlation analysis of the common

This article explores the most recent evidence-based information on ethnomedicinal, phytochemical and pharmacological understanding of Hygrophila auriculata for the treatment of various diseases and health conditions. Various ethnomedicinal writings suggest the use of the plant or its parts for the treatment of jaundice, oedema, gastrointestinal ailments, diarrhoea, dysentery, urinogenital disorder, gall stones, urinary calculi, kidney stone, leucorrhoea, rheumatism, tuberculosis, anaemia, body pain, constipation, skin disease, and as an aphrodisiac. The plant has been reported to contain flavonoids （apigenin, luteolin, ellagic acid, gallic acid and quercetin）, alkaloids （asteracanthine and asteracanthicine）, triterpenes （lupeol, lupenone, hentricontane and betulin）, sterols （stigmasterol and asterol）, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, aliphatic esters and essential oils. Extracts and bioactive compounds from the plant have been found to possess antimicrobial, anthelmintic, antitermite, nephroprotective, hepatoprotective, central nervous system protective, antitumour, antidiabetic, anticataract, antioxidant, haematopoietic, diuretic, antinociceptive, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antimotility, aphrodisiac, neuroprotection, anti- endotoxin and anti-urolithiatic activities. For this paper, we reviewed patents, clinical studies, analytical studies and marketed formulations from the earliest found examples from 1887 to the end of 2017.

We investigate the transient behavior of an n-type double gate negative capacitance junctionless tun- nel field effect transistor （NC-JLTFET）. The structure is realized by using the work-function engineering of metal electrodes over a heavily doped n＋ silicon channel and a ferroelectric gate stack to get negative capacitance be- havior. The positive feedback in the electric dipoles of ferroelectric materials results in applied gate bias boosting. Various device transient parameters viz. transconductance, output resistance, output conductance, intrinsic gain, intrinsic gate delay, transconductance generation factor and unity gain frequency are analyzed using ac analysis of the device. To study the impact of the work-function variation of control and source gate on device performance, sensitivity analysis of the device has been carried out by varying these parameters. Simulation study reveals that it preserves inherent advantages of charge-plasma junctionless structure and exhibits improved transient behavior as well.

Prediction of BRIC Stock Price Using ARIMA,SutteARIMA,and Holt-Winters

The novel coronavirus has played a disastrous role in many countries *** outbreak became a major epidemic,engulfing the entire world in lockdown and it is now speculated that its economic impact might be worse than economic deceleration and *** paper identifies two different models to capture the trend of closing stock prices in Brazil(BVSP),Russia(***),India(BSESN),and China(SSE),i.e.,(BRIC)*** predict the stock prices for three daily time periods,so appropriate preparations can be undertaken to solve these ***,we compared the ARIMA,SutteARIMA and Holt-Winters(H-W)methods to determine the most effective model for predicting *** stock closing price of BRIC country data was obtained from Yahoo *** data dates from 01 November 2019 to 11 December 2020,then divided into two categories-training data and test *** data covers 01 November 2019 to 02 December *** days(03December 2020 to 11December 2020)of datawas tested to determine the accuracy of the models using training data as a *** measure the accuracy of the models,we obtained the means absolute percentage error(MAPE)and mean square error(MSE).Prediction model Holt-Winters was found to be the most suitable for forecasting the Brazil stock price(BVSP)while MAPE(0.50)and MSE(579272.65)with Holt-Winters(smaller than ARIMA and SutteARIMA),model SutteARIMA was found most appropriate to predict the stock prices of Russia(***),India(BSESN),and China(SSE)when compared to ARIMA and *** andMSE with SutteARIMA:Russia(MAPE:0.7;MSE:940.20),India(MAPE:0.90;MSE:207271.16),and China(MAPE:0.72;MSE:786.28).Finally,Holt-Winters predicted the daily forecast values for the Brazil stock price(BVSP)(12 December to 14 December 2020 i.e.,115757.6,116150.9 and 116544.1),while SutteARIMA predicted the daily forecast values of Russia stock prices(***)(12 December to 14 December 2020 i.e.,3238.06,3241.54 and 3245.01),India stock price(BSESN)(

In present era, one of the most important resources of computer machine is CPU. With the increasing number of application, there exist a large number of processes in the computer system at the same time. Many processes in system simultaneously raise a challenging circumstance of managing the CPU in such a manner that the CPU utilization and processes execution gets optimal performance. The world is still waiting for most efficient algorithm which remains a challenging issue. In this manuscript, we have proposed a new algorithm Progressively Varying Response Ratio Priority a preemptive CPU scheduling algorithm based on the Priority Algorithm and Shortest Remaining Time First. In this scheduling algorithm, the priority is been calculated and the processes with high priority get CPU first or next. For new process, the priority of it becomes equal to inverse of burst time and for the old processes the priority calculation takes place as a ratio of waiting time and remaining burst time. The objective is to get all the processes executed with minimum average waiting time and no starvation. Experiment and comparison show that the VRRP outperforms other CPU scheduling algorithms. It gives better evaluation results in the form of scheduling criteria. We have used the deterministic model to compare the different algorithms.
