Previously,it was suggested that biological maturation(BM)could be linked to cardiac autonomic recovery(CAR)in the pediatric ***,this influence hasn’t been confirmed *** aim was to investigate the impact of BM on CAR in female volleyball *** study with a sample of 38 volleyball players,comprising 20 girls(age:[11.62.1]years)and 18 women(age:[24.55.5]years),we analyzed BM,comparing maturing subjects(girls)with mature subjects(women).Additionally,we assessed peak height velocity(PHV)in *** conducted a training session involving repeated sprints(3 rounds of 6 sprints interspersed by 5 min[min]of passive rest).Using short-range radio telemetry,we analyzed CAR during(at the end of the 1st and 2nd rounds)and after(following the 3rd round)the training session of repeated sprints by applying the 60-s to 300-s heart rate recovery index(HRR-Index).Girls exhibited superior CAR compared to women(round 2:60-s,120-s,240-s,and 300-s,p0.4,p0.4,p<0.05).We have concluded that biological maturation has a significant impact on cardiac autonomic recovery.

This study presents an optimization of the Folin-Ciocalteu spectrophotometric method for the determination of total phenol content. Multivariate optimization using factorial planning 22 with a central point and central composite planning was constructed to evaluate the influence of variables in the process and maximize radiation absorption with minimal radiation scattering caused by solid formation. X-ray fluorescence and X-ray diffraction spectrometry were used to evaluate the chemical composition of solids formed and nephelometric and spectrophotometric studies were also used to evaluate whether the type, origin, dilution and dry extract contents of commercial propolis extracts would significantly influence the increase in radiation scattering and absorption. The optimized methodology added several advantages, such as reduction of reagents, time analysis, and higher accuracy.

针对锦纶织物亲水性较差的问题,采用商用菠萝蛋白酶对其表面进行改性。通过单因素变量实验对反应残液进行紫外光吸光度测试以及静态接触角测试,确定菠萝蛋白酶处理锦纶的优化工艺条件,即在蛋白酶质量浓度32 mg/mL,pH 6.0,温度50℃,反应时间18 h条件下,可实现织物表面的亲水化转变。在优化工艺的基础上使用体积分数为40%CHCL-2EG低共熔溶剂缓冲液体系辅助激活菠萝蛋白酶,并对水解效果进行测试分析,发现CHCL-2EG对锦纶纤维具有刻蚀作用,织物表面粗糙程度增加,织物表面亲水效果进一步增强,最终接触角降低36.7%。

Gravity-Driven Listric Growth Fault and Sedimentation in the Lagoa do Peixe, Rio Grande do Sul Coastal Plain, Brazil

High frequency, high resolution GPR surveys are successfully applied to investigate near-surface stratification architecture of sedimentary units in coastal plains and to define their depositional conditions. However, low frequency GPR surveys to investigate fault-related depositional systems at greater depths are scarce. This survey was designed investigate a > 100 km long linear escarpment that controls the northwest margin of the Lagoa do Peixe, an important lagoon in Rio Grande do Sul Coastal Plain (RGSCP, Brazil). The traditional approach points that RGSCP was developed by juxtaposition of four lagoons/barrier systems as consequence of sea level changes;no deformational structure is admitted to exist before. The low frequency GPR (50 MHz, RTA antenna) and geological surveys carried out in the RGSCP showed the existence of a large, gravity-driven listric growth fault controlling the Lagoa do Peixe escarpment and hangingwall sedimentation. The radargrams in four subareas along the Lagoa do Peixe Growth Fault could be interpreted following the seismic expression of rift-related depositional systems. The radargrams enabled to distinguish three main lagoonal deposition radarfacies. The lower lagoonal radarfacies is a convex upward unit, thicker close to growth fault;the radarfacies geometry indicates that fault displacement rate surpasses the sedimentation rate, and its upper stratum is aged ~3500 l4C years BP. The second lagoonal radarfacies is a triangular wedge restricted to the lagoon depocenter, whose geometry indicates that fault displacement and the sedimentation rates kept pace. The upper lagoonal radarfacies is being deposited since 1060 ± 70 l4C years BP, under sedimentation rate higher than fault displacement rate. The results indicate that low frequency GPR surveys can help in investigating fault-related depositional systems in coastal zones. They also point to a new approach in dealing with RGSCP stratigraphy.

酶处理改善涤纶织物的亲水性是目前涤纶改性中一种绿色环保的方法。本文通过改变猪胰脂肪酶(PPL)水解涤纶织物的反应条件(反应温度、反应pH、酶用量、反应时间),以及添加表面活性剂来增强PPL水解涤纶织物的效果。实验以水解产物释放量为评价指标,通过在单因素实验的基础上进行Box-Behnken优化实验。结果表明:PPL水解涤纶织物工艺中因素的影响作用大小顺序为反应时间(24 h)>表面活性剂(吐温80,2 g/L)>反应温度(60℃)>酶用量(80 U/mL)>pH(7)。经模型优化的最佳水解工艺条件为:反应温度59℃,pH 6.6,酶用量67 U/mL,反应时间31.2 h,表面活性剂质量浓度2.1 g/L,理论水解产物531.862 mg/L。最优条件下实验值与预测值的相对误差为5.3%。在此条件下,处理后织物表面的接触角下降了19.8%,力学性能良好。

Ultra-high voltage(UHV)transmission lines are an important part of China’s power grid and are often surrounded by a complex electromagnetic *** ground total electric field is considered a main electromagnetic environment indicator of UHV transmission lines and is currently employed for reliable long-term operation of the power ***,the accurate prediction of the ground total electric field remains a technical *** this work,we collected the total electric field data from the Ningdong-Zhejiang±800 kV UHVDC transmission project,as of the Ling Shao line,and perform an outlier analysis of the total electric field *** show that the Local Outlier Factor(LOF)elimination algorithm has a small average difference and overcomes the performance of Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise(DBSCAN)and Isolated Forest elimination ***,the Stacking algorithm has been found to have superior prediction accuracy than a variety of similar prediction algorithms,including the traditional finite *** low prediction error of the Stacking algorithm highlights the superior ability to accurately forecast the ground total electric field of UHVDC transmission lines.

Mitochondrial disorders are phenotypically varied, with serious clinical repercussions. Among them, there is the deficiency of combined oxidative phosphorylation of type 20, which occurs due to a defect in the VARS2 gene. This article presents a case of a 2-year-old female with progressive myoclonic epilepsy and psychomotor regression, with refractoriness to multiple anticonvulsants. The diagnosis was only made after the examination was carried out. Therefore, this article highlights the aspects of this rare disease and the importance of the exome for the diagnosis of rare conditions.

Pyloric Sympathectomy: A Novel Way to Get Pylorus Relaxation? Report of Two Bariatric Cases

Objective: This case report aimed to demonstrate a possible neuromuscular effect of pyloric sympathectomy on the pylorus motility, leading to its permanent relaxation, observed in two bariatric surgical cases, one primary and the other, revisional. Background: Pyloric sphincter is a physiological barrier to free gastric emptying. In sleeve gastrectomy and in Roux-en-Y gastric bypass revisions, that put the remnant stomach in transit, the pylorus can contribute to generate a high intragastric pressure, which could lead to acute gastric fistulas and/or chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease. The possibility of functionally relaxing the pylorus, promoting intragastric pressure reduction, could represent a protective maneuver against these complications. Methods: We describe herein a surgical maneuver applied in two cases of bariatric surgeries, with the intention of facilitating antrum-duodenal region exposure, in a sleeve gastrectomy and in a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass conversion to SADI-S. For this, a ligation of terminal peripyloric vessels was done, allowing a passage of a tape, which surrounded the pylorus, for its traction. In both cases, 30-day and 1-year endoscopic evaluations were done, to assess esophagitis signs, anastomosis healing and anatomical pouch aspect. A clinical evaluation was also done, to assess gastroesophageal symptoms (validated questionnaire). Results: In the postoperative endoscopic evaluations, no esophagitis were observed in any case and the gastric pouches had normal aspect, with the expected anatomical findings, compatible with the surgeries performed. The anastomosis healed without problems, in the revisional case. Interestingly, in both cases, it was observed a complete pyloric sphincter relaxation, which lasted until 1-year endoscopic evaluation. There were no fistulas, nor esophagitis in any of these cases. This cross-sectional study examined the lower limb balance,ankle dorsiflexion,orofacial tissue pressure,and occlusal strength of rugby ***-six participants were divided into groups:rugby players(n=13)and healthy sedentary adults(n=13).Participants underwent an analysis of lower limb balance using a composite score(Y-Balance Test).Ankle dorsiflexion was measured using the Lunge *** Iowa Oral Performance Instrument was employed to measure orofacial tissue *** force was measured with a dynamometer,and T-Scan assessed occlusal contact *** were analyzed using the t-test(p<0.05)and ANCOVA with age and weight as covariates,where it is possible to verify that these factors did not influence the results *** differences were observed in the balance of the right(p=0.07)and left(p=0.02)lower limbs,where rugby players had lower composite *** were significant differences in the right(p=0.005)and left(p=0.004)lunges,with rugby players showing lower values,as well as lower tongue pressure(p=0.01)and higher lip pressure(p=0.03),with significant differences to sedentary *** was no significant difference in molar bite force and distribution occlusal contacts between *** seems to reduce lower limb displacement,cause ankle hypomobility,lead to changes in orofacial tissues,particularly the tongue and *** study is significant for identifying significant differences between rugby players and sedentary individuals,providing new insights into the impact of rugby on health and performance,which can benefit sports training and injury prevention.
