The effects of Ce addition on the microstructure, age hardening response and mechanical properties of an indirect-extruded Mg-5wt.%sn-4Zn (TZ54) alloy were investigated. Addition of Ce accelerated the aging response with the peak aging time moving from 300 h in TZ54 to 30 h in Mg-5wt.%sn-4Zn-1Ce (TZE541), while the peak harness was similar to each other. Ni-rich layered oxides in lithium-ion batteries have problems with gas generation and electrochemical performance reduction due to residual lithium's reaction on the surface with the *** address this issue,in this study,the Acid solvent evaporation(AsE)method has been proposed as a potential method to remove residual lithium while promoting the formation of a new LiNO_(3)-derived coating layer on the cathode *** reduction of residual lithium using the AsE method and the construction of a LiNO_(3)-derived coating layer suppresses gas evolution caused by the side effects of the electrolyte,improves electrochemical performance,and improves thermal stability by facilitating the smooth movement of lithium ***,the structural stability and resistance change due to the LiNO_(3)-derived coating layer effects is guaranteed through cycling and DCIR of the pouch *** a result,compared to Pristine,the capacity retention of coin cells increased by 8%after 100 cycles,and pouch cells increased by 25%after 160 *** addition,after cycling the pouch cell,CO_(2) gas has significantly reduced by about 30%compared to Pristine using gas *** AsE method effectively forms a robust LiNO_(3)-derived coating layer on the cathode active material,which helps minimize electrolyte reactivity,suppress ,CO_(2) emissions,enhance surface structure stability,improve thermal stability,and improveoverallbatteryperformance.

The discovery and characterization of the nuclear AUX-indole-3-acetic acid(IAA)-TIR1/AFB auxin co-receptor complex in the model plant Arabidopsis at the outset of the 21st century was a hallmark event in biological *** decades of subsequent discovery demonstrated the central role of the nuclear auxin perception mechanism in virtually every stage of Viridiplantae *** auxin receptors were also shown to be essential for later stages of differential hypocotyl,coleoptile,and root tropisms,but the most rapid responses were found to persist in Arabidopsis mutants lacking important components of the receptor mechanism(Napier,2021;Peer and Murphy,2022).In particular,rapid cellular elongation observed in tropic growth or after experimental application of auxin is mediated by H+extrusion across the plasma membrane(PM).The resulting apoplastic acidification activates extensin proteins that loosen cell walls to allow for turgor-driven cellular *** initial events occur in a time frame that precludes nuclear signaling and now can be clearly attributed to a cell surface auxin co-receptor complex and downstream signaling intermediaries.

This review highlights the importance of recovering valuable metals from spent Li-ion battery(LIB)cathodes through the resynthesis of cathode active materials(CAMs).The resynthesis process of CAMs,a promising recycling method that directly produces CAM precursors from LIB leachate,is *** process encompasses six key steps,including pretreatment,leaching,purification,adjustment of metal concentrations,precursor synthesis,and *** review also investigates the potential introduction of impurity elements during CAM resynthesis and provides tolerance levels for these impurities based on thorough reference ***,it addresses challenges related to the commercialization of the resynthesis ***,this review represents the first comprehensive assessment of CAM resynthesis,including the systematic evaluation of 12 impurity elements(Fe,Li,Al,Cu,C,P,F,Na,Cl,s,Mg,and Zn).Overall,this comprehensive review is poised to support the commercial development of resynthesized CAMs by offering valuable guidelines for managing impurities and streamlining the purification process.

specific grades of high-entropy alloys(HEAs)can provide opportunities for optimizing properties toward high-temperature *** this work,the Co-based HEA with a chemical composition of Co_(47.5)Cr_(30)Fe_(7.5)Mn_(7.5)Ni_(7.5)(at%)was *** refractory metallic elements hafnium(Hf)and molybdenum(Mo)were added in small amounts(1.5at%)because of their well-known positive effects on high-temperature *** characteristics were comprehensively explored by using a two-dimensional cross-sectional method and extracted by using a three-dimensional electrolytic extraction *** results revealed that the addition of Hf can reduce Al_(2)O_(3)inclusions and lead to the formation of more stable Hf-rich inclusions as the main *** addition cannot influence the inclusion type but could influence the inclusion characteristics by affecting the physical parameters of the HEA *** calculated coagulation coefficient and collision rate of Al_(2)O_(3)inclusions were higher than those of HfO_(2)inclusions,but the inclusion amount played a larger role in the agglomeration behavior of HfO_(2)and Al_(2)O_(3)*** impurity level and active elements in HEAs were the crucial factors affecting inclusion formation.

Data trading enables data owners and data requesters to sell and purchase *** the emergence of blockchain technology,research on blockchain-based data trading systems is receiving a lot of ***,to reduce the on-chain storage cost,a novel paradigm of blockchain and cloud fusion has been widely considered as a promising data trading ***,the fact that data can be used for commercial purposes will encourage users and organizations from various fields to participate in the data *** the data marketplace,it is a challenge how to trade the data securely outsourced to the external cloud in a way that restricts access to the data only to authorized users across multiple *** this paper,we propose a cross-domain bilateral access control protocol for blockchain-cloud based data trading *** consider a system model that consists of domain authorities,data senders,data receivers,a blockchain layer,and a cloud *** proposed protocol enables access control and source identification of the outsourced data by leveraging identity-based cryptographic *** the proposed protocol,the outsourced data of the sender is encrypted under the target receiver’s identity,and the cloud provider performs policy-match verification on the authorization tags of the sender and receiver generated by the identity-based signature ***,data trading can be achieved only if the identities of the data sender and receiver simultaneously meet the policies specified by each *** demonstrate efficiency,we evaluate the performance of the proposed protocol and compare it with existing studies.

BACKGROUND stem cell transplantation is a promising therapeutic option for curing perianal fistula in Crohn’s disease(CD).Anti-tumor necrotic factor(TNF)therapy combined with drainage procedure is effective as ***,previous studies are limited to proving whether the combination treatment of biologics and stem cell transplantation improves the effect of fistula *** This study aimed to evaluate the long-term outcomes of stem cell transplantation and compare Crohn’s perianal fistula(CPF)closure rates after stem cell transplantation with and without anti-TNF therapy,and to identify the factors affecting CPF closure and *** The patients with CD who underwent stem cell transplantation for treating perianal fistula in our institution between Jun 2014 and December 2022 were *** data were compared according to anti-TNF therapy and CPF *** A total of 65 patients were *** median age of females was 26 years(range:21-31)and that of males was 29(44.6%).The mean follow-up duration was 65.88±32.65 months,and complete closure was observed in 50(76.9%)*** closure rates were similar after stem cell transplantation with and without anti-TNF therapy(66.7%vs 81.6%at 3 year,P=0.098).The patients with fistula closure had short fistulous tract and infrequent proctitis and anorectal stricture(P=0.027,0.002,and 0.008,respectively).Clinical factors such as complexity,number of fistulas,presence of concurrent abscess,and medication were not significant for *** cumulative 1-,2-,and 3-year closure rates were 66.2%,73.8%,and 75.4%,*** Anti-TNF therapy does not increase CPF closure rates in patients with stem cell ***,both refractory and non-refractory CPF have similar closure rates after additional anti-TNF *** tract length,proctitis,and anal stricture are risk factors for non-closure in patients with CPF after stem cell transplantation.

We present an azimuthal-rotation-controlled dynamic nanoinscribing(ARC-DNI)process for continuous and scalable fabrication of asymmetric nanograting structures with tunable periods and shape profiles.A sliced edge of a nanograting mold,which typically has a rectangular grating profile,slides over a polymeric substrate to induce its burrfree plastic deformation into a linear *** this continuous nanoinscribing process,the“azimuthal angle,”that is,the angle between the moving direction of the polymeric substrate and the mold’s grating line orientation,can be controlled to tailor the period,geometrical shape,and profile of the inscribed *** modulating the azimuthal angle,along with other important ARC-DNI parameters such as temperature,force,and inscribing speed,we demonstrate that the mold-opening profile and temperature-and time-dependent viscoelastic polymer reflow can be controlled to fabricate asymmetric,blazed,and slanted nanogratings that have diverse geometrical profiles such as trapezoidal,triangular,and ***,period-and profile-tunable ARC-DNI can be utilized for the practical fabrication of diverse optical devices,as is exemplified by asymmetric diffractive optical elements in this study.
