most modern technologies,such as social media,smart cities,and the internet of things(IoT),rely on big *** big data is used in the real-world applications,two data challenges such as class overlap and class imbalance *** dealing with large datasets,most traditional classiﬁers are stuck in the local optimum *** a result,it’s necessary to look into new methods for dealing with large data *** solutions have been proposed for overcoming this *** rapid growth of the available data threatens to limit the usefulness of many traditional *** such as oversampling and undersampling have shown great promises in addressing the issues of class *** all of these techniques,Synthetic minority Oversampling TechniquE(SmOTE)has produced the best results by generating synthetic samples for the minority class in creating a balanced *** issue is that their practical applicability is restricted to problems involving tens of thousands or lower instances of *** this paper,we have proposed a parallel mode method using SmOTE and mapReduce strategy,this distributes the operation of the algorithm among a group of computational nodes for addressing the aforementioned *** proposed solution has been divided into three ***ﬁrst stage involves the process of splitting the data into different blocks using a mapping function,followed by a pre-processing step for each mapping block that employs a hybrid SmOTE algo-rithm for solving the class imbalanced *** each map block,a decision tree model would be ***,the decision tree blocks would be com-bined for creating a classiﬁcation *** have used numerous datasets with up to 4 million instances in our experiments for testing the proposed scheme’s *** a result,the Hybrid SmOTE appears to have good scalability within the framework proposed,and it also cuts down the processing time.

A Novel Approach to Design Distribution preserving Framework for Big Data

In several fields like financial dealing,industry,business,medicine,et cetera,Big Data(BD)has been utilized extensively,which is nothing but a collection of a huge amount of ***,it is highly complicated along with time-consuming to process a massive amount of ***,to design the Distribution preserving Framework for BD,a novel methodology has been proposed utilizing manhattan Distance(mD)-centered partition Around medoid(mD–pAm)along with Conjugate Gradient Artificial Neural Network(CG-ANN),which undergoes various steps to reduce the complications of ***,the data are processed in the pre-processing phase by mitigating the data repetition utilizing the map-reduce function;subsequently,the missing data are handled by substituting or by ignoring the missed *** that,the data are transmuted into a normalized ***,to enhance the classification performance,the data’s dimensionalities are minimized by employing Gaussian Kernel(GK)-Fisher Discriminant Analysis(GK-FDA).Afterwards,the processed data is submitted to the partitioning phase after transmuting it into a structured *** the partition phase,by utilizing the mD-pAm,the data are partitioned along with grouped into a ***,by employing CG-ANN,the data are classified in the classification phase so that the needed data can be effortlessly retrieved by the *** analogize the outcomes of the CG-ANN with the prevailing methodologies,the NSL-KDD openly accessible datasets are *** experiential outcomes displayed that an efficient result along with a reduced computation cost was shown by the proposed *** proposed work outperforms well in terms of accuracy,sensitivity and specificity than the existing systems.

Recent developments in information technology can be attributed to the development of smart cities which act as a key enabler for next-generation intelligent systems to improve security,reliability,and *** healthcare sector becomes advantageous and offers different ways to manage patient information in order to improve healthcare service *** futuristic sustainable computing solutions in e-healthcare applications depend upon Internet of Things(IoT)in cloud computing *** energy consumed during data communication from IoT devices to cloud server is significantly high and it needs to be reduced with the help of clustering *** current research article presents a new Oppositional Glowworm Swarm Optimization(OGSO)algorithmbased clustering with Deep Neural Network(DNN)called OGSO-DNN model for distributed healthcare *** OGSO algorithm was applied in this study to select the Cluster Heads(CHs)from the available IoT *** selected CHs transmit the data to cloud server,which then executes DNN-based classification process for healthcare *** extensive simulation analysis was carried out utilizing a student perspective healthcare data generated from UCI repository and IoT devices to forecast the severity level of the disease among *** proposed OGSO-DNN model outperformed previous methods by attaining the maximum average sensitivity of 96.956%,specificity of 95.076%,the accuracy of 95.764%and F-score value of 96.888%.

A new insight into electrochemical detection of eugenol by hierarchical sheaf-like mesoporous NiCo2O4

NiCo2O4 nanosheets with sheaf-like nanostructure morphologies have been synthesized by a facile one-step hydrothermal reaction followed by annealing treatment. Impressively, the NiCo2O4 nanosheets exhibit rapid detection of eugenol. The linear range of detection is from 1-500μm, and the limit of detection is 5.4 μm. The NiCo2O4 modified electrode demonstrated high sensitivity, good repeatability and reproducibility, and long-term stability （7% decrease in response over 30 days）. Based on this work, an electrochemical reaction mechanism for eugenol oxidation was proposed, and in addition, the NiCo2O4 modified electrode was successfully employed for the analysis of eugenol in medicative balm samples. Recovery values for eugenol in medicative balm samples were in the range 98.7%-105.5%.

A stochastic approach for integrating market and technical uncertainties in economic evaluations of petroleum development

The paper presents a stochastic and economic analysis for petroleum development under uncertain market and technical environments. mean-reversion with jumps for price forecasting is used to consider market uncertainty, while various scenarios for the reservoir properties and cost are employed to consider technical uncertainty. monte Carlo simulation is carried out to obtain the feasible range of net present values and internal rates of return. The influence of stochastic parameters is examined through correlation coefficients. The stochastic approach yields more reliable evaluation and effectively investigates the characteristics of development. The integration of uncertainties and contractual terms results in an irregular tendency in the future cash flow and reveals that a larger reserve does not guarantee a greater profit. The reserve and the well rate affect the economic values whereas the parameters for price prediction don＇t. The research confirms the necessity of qualifying uncertainties for realistic decision-making at the initial stage of development.

The biological stress of early weaned piglets

pigs experience biological stress such as physiological, environmental, and social challenges when weaned from the sow. The process of weaning is one of the most stressful events in the pig＇s life that can contribute to intestinal and immune system dysfunctions that result in reduced pig health, growth, and feed intake, particularly during the first week after weaning. Technological improvements in housing, nutrition, health, and management have been used to minimize some of the adverse effects of weaning stress, but a greater understanding of the biological impact of stress is needed to improve strategies to overcome weaning stress. The focus of this review paper is to briefly describe how the biological stress associated with weaning impacts intestinal morphology, structure, physiology, and intestinal immune responses that can impact subsequent production efficiencies such as growth, intake, morbidity, and mortality.

Characterization of the surface and interfacial properties of the lamina splendens

Joint disease affects approximately 52.5 mil- lion patients in the United States alone, costing 80.8 billion USD in direct healthcare costs. The development of treatment programs for joint disease and trauma requires accurate assessment of articular cartilage degradation. The articular cartilage is the interfacial tissue between articu- lating surfaces, such as bones, and acts as low-friction interfaces. Damage to the lamina splendens, which is the articular cartilage＇s topmost layer, is an early indicator of joint degradation caused by injury or disease. By gaining comprehensive knowledge on the lamina splendens, particularly its structure and interfacial properties, researchers could enhance the accuracy of human and animal biomechanical models, as well as develop appro- priate biomimetic materials for replacing damaged articu- lar cartilage, thereby leading to rational treatment programs for joint disease and injury. previous studies that utilize light, electron, and force microscopy techniques have found that the lamina splendens is composed of collagen fibers oriented parallel to the cartilage surface and encased in a proteoglycan matrix. Such orientation maximizes wear resistance and proteoglycan retention while promoting the passage of nutrients and synovial fluid. Although the structure of the lamina splendens has been explored in the literature, the low-friction interface of this tissue remains only partially characterized. Various functional models are currently available for the interface, such as pure boundary lubrication, thin films exuded under pressure, and sheets of trapped proteins. Recent studies suggest that each of these lubrication models has certain advantages over one another. Further research is needed to fully model the interface of this tissue. In this review, we summarize the methods for characterizing the lamina splendens and the results of each method.
