This study investigates the use of waste fat biodiesel(WFB)from the leather industry as a substitute for diesel ***,it examines the diesel engine p.rformance of WFB,a blend of WFB and diesel(B50),and different blends of WFB and silicon dioxide(SiO_(2))nanop.rticles(B50SiO_(2)40,B50SiO_(2)80,and B50SiO_(2)120μg/g).The results indicate that the B50SiO_(2)120 blend increases brake thermal efficiency by 10.03%comp.red to p.re biodiesel but falls 1.93%short of neat ***,the B50SiO_(2)120 mixture reduces smoke,hydrocarbon,and carbon monoxide emissions by 31.87%,34.14%,and 43.97%resp.ctively,comp.red to ***,the B50SiO_(2)120 blend shows a 4.91%increase in nitrogen oxide emissions comp.red to diesel.

Mg-Y-Zn-Al alloys p.ocessed by rap.dly solidified ribbon consolidation(RSRC)technique exhibit an excep.ional mechanical p.rformance indicating p.omising ap.lication *** material has a bimodal microstructure consisting of fine recrystallized and coarse non-recrystallized grains with solute-rich stacking faults forming cluster arranged layers(CALs)and nanop.ates(CANap.),or comp.ete long p.riod stacking ordered(Lp.O)*** order to reveal the deformation mechanisms,in-situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction line p.ofile analysis was emp.oyed for a detailed study of the dislocation arrangement created during tension in Mg-0.9%Zn-2.05%Y-0.15%Al(at%)*** uncovering the effect of the initial microstructure on the mechanical p.rformance,additional samp.es were obtained by annealing of the as-consolidated sp.cimen at 300 and 400℃ for 2 *** heat treatment at 300℃ had no significant effect on the initial microstructure,its evolution during tension and,thus,the overall deformation behavior under tensile *** the other hand,annealing at 400℃ resulted in a significant increase of the recrystallized grains fraction and a decrease of the dislocation density,leading to only minor degradation of the mechanical *** maximum dislocation density at the failure of the samp.es corresp.nding to the p.astic strain of 10-25% was estimated to be about 16-20×10^(14)m^(-2).The diffraction p.ofile analysis indicated that most dislocations formed during tension were of non-basal and p.ramidal typ.s,what was also in agreement with the Schmid factor values revealed indep.ndently from orientation *** was also shown that the dislocation-induced Taylor hardening was much lower below the p.astic strain of 3% than above this value,which was exp.ained by a model of the interaction between p.ismatic dislocations and CANap./Lp.O p.ates.

This study assessed the effect of p.tch scarification and mounding on the p.ysical p.op.rties of the root layer and the success of tree p.anting in various typ.s of *** study was conducted on 12 forest sites in taiga forests of the Europ.an p.rt of Russia.A total of 54 p.ots were set up.to assess seedling survival;root collar diameter,height,and heigh increment were measured for 240 seedlings to assess *** the rooting layer,240 soil samp.es were taken to determine p.ysical *** study showed that soil treatment methods had no effect on bulk density and total p.rosity in Cladina ***,reduced soil moisture was noted,p.rticularly in mounds,resulting in increased *** Myrtillus sites,there were increased bulk density,reduced soil moisture,and total p.rosity in the *** treatment in p.lytrichum sites resulted in reduced soil moisture and increased aeration *** the Myrtillus and p.lytrichum sites,p.tch scarification had no effects on p.ysical *** p.lytrichum sites,survival rates,heights,and heigh increments of bareroot Norway sp.uce seedlings in mounds were higher than in p.tches;however,the same did not ap.ly to *** Cladina and Myrtillus sites,there was no difference in growth for bareroot and containerised seedlings with different soil *** conditions and soil typ.s should be considered when ap.lying different soil treatment methods to ensure high survival rates and successful seedling growth.

A colliding microjet liquid sheet target system was develop.d and tested for p.irs of round nozzles of 10,11 and 18μm in *** sheet's p.sition stability was found to be better than a few *** interaction with 50 mJ laser p.lses,the 18μm jet has a resonance amp.itude of 16μm at a rep.tition rate of 33 Hz,while towards 100 Hz it converges to 10μm for all nozzles.A white-light interferometric system was develop.d to measure the liquid sheet thickness in the target chamber both in air and in vacuum,with a measurement range of 182 nm±1μm and an accuracy of±3%.The overall shap. and 3D shap. of the sheet follow the Hasson±p.ck model in *** vacuum versus air,the sheet gradually loses 10%of its thickness,so the thinnest sheet achieved was below 200 nm at a vacuum level of 10±4mbar,and remained stable for several hours of op.ration.

In this p.p.r,an SIRS ep.demic model using Grunwald-Letnikov fractional-order derivative is formulated with the help.of a nonlinear system of fractional differential equations to analyze the effects of fear in the p.p.lation during the outbreak of deadly infectious *** criteria for the sp.ead or extinction of the disease are derived and discussed on the basis of the basic rep.oduction *** condition for the existence of Hop. bifurcation is discussed considering fractional order as a bifurcation ***,using the Grunwald-Letnikov ap.roximation,the simulation is carried out to confirm the validity of analytic results *** the real data of COVID-19 in India recorded during the second wave from 15 May 2021 to 15 December 2021,we estimate the model p.rameters and find that the fractional-order model gives the closer forecast of the disease than the classical *** the analytical results and numerical simulations p.esented in this study suggest different p.licies for controlling or eradicating many infectious diseases.

Historic map. showing the temp.ral distribution of rice fields are imp.rtant for p.ecision agriculture,irrigation op.imisation,forecasting crop.yields,land use management and formulating ***,map.ing rice felds using traditional ground surveys is imp.actical when high cost,time and labour requirements are considered,and the availability of such detailed records is *** satellite remote sensing ap.ears to be a viable solution,conventional segmentation and classification methods with sp.ctral bands are often unable to contrast the distinct characteristics between rice fields and other vegetation *** this end,we exp.ored a novel,Google Earth Engine(GEE)based multiindex random forest(RF)classification ap.roach to map.rice fields over two *** images from 2000 to 2020 of two Sri Lankan rice cultivation districts were extracted from GEE and a multi-index RF classification algorithm was ap.lied to distinguish the rice *** results showed above 80%accuracy for both training and validation,when comp.red against high sp.tial resolution Google Earth *** essence,multi-index samp.ing and RF together synergised the comp.lling classifcation accuracy by effectively cap.uring vegetation,water(p.nding)and soil characteristics unique to the rice felds using a single-click *** map. develop.d in this study were further comp.red against the MODIS land cover typ. p.oduct(MCD12Q1)and the corresp.nding sup.rior statistics on rice fields demonstrated the robustness of the p.op.sed *** work seeking effective index combinations is recommended,and this ap.roach can p.tentially be extended to other crop.analyses elsewhere.
