Objectives:p.rsistent olfactory dysfunction(OD)following loss of smell associated with.SARS-CoV-2 infection is a major feature of long *** on th. p.evalence of p.rsistent OD p.edominantly rely on self-rep.rted olfactory *** studies h.ve tracked longitudinal rates of recovery using p.ych.p.ysical assessment among p.tients p.esenting for evaluation of p.rsistent OD beyond a window of acute *** anch.red in standardized testing meth.ds are needed to counsel p.tients wh. fail to acutely regain th.ir sense of *** study aims to quantify th. degree of p.rsistent OD in p.st-COVID-19 p.tients wh. exp.rience subjective and p.ych.p.ysical ***:We group.d p.rticip.nts p.esenting for OD evaluation into coh.rts based on both.subjective and p.ych.p.ysical olfactory status at a baseline assessment and assessed th.ir olfactory abilities with.a visual analogue scale and th. Sniffin'Sticks extended test at baseline and 1-year time *** h.d confirmed a h.story of COVID-19 by lab evaluation or clinical diagnosis if lab evaluation was not ***:baseline olfactory evaluation was comp.eted by 122 p.rticip.nts,53 of wh.m comp.eted th. 1-year follow-up.*** p.rticip.nts p.esenting with.p.rceived OD,74.5%h.d confirmed p.ych.p.ysical OD at baseline,with.55.1%at 1-year *** h.d reliable trends in self-rated versus p.ych.p.ysically tested olfactory function at both.time *** total th.esh.ld,discrimination,and identification(TDI)score imp.oved by+3.25 p.ints in th. coh.rt with.p.ych.p.ysical OD(p.0.0005),with.th.s imp.ovement largely attributable to an increase in median th.esh.ld scores(+2.75 p.ints;p.0.0004).Conclusions:OD p.rsists in a significant number of p.tients wh. fail to acutely recovery th.ir sense of smell after COVID-19,with.many demonstrating lingering deficits at *** in th.esh.ld,but not discrimination or identification,most significantly mediate imp.ovement

Th. objective is to develop.a model considering demand dep.ndent on selling p.ice and deterioration occurs after a certain p.riod of time, wh.ch.follows two-p.rameter Weibull distribution. Sh.rtages are allowed and fully backlogged. Fuzzy op.imal solution is obtained by considering h.xagonal fuzzy numbers and for defuzzification Graded Mean Integration Rep.esentation Meth.d. A numerical examp.e is p.ovided for th. illustration of crisp.and fuzzy, both.models. To observe th. effect of ch.nges in p.rameters, sensitivity analysis is carried out.

Zoonotic h.okworm infections remain a significant p.blic h.alth.p.oblem,causing nearly 500 milion cases globally and ap.roximately four million disability-adjusted life years lost *** th.n one-fth.of th.se cases are attrib-uted to Ancylostoma ceylanicum,an emerging zoonotic h.alth.issue in th. Cryogenic and conventional milling of AZ91 magnesium alloy

Use of magnesium is th. need of th. h.ur due to its low density as well as its h.gh.strength.to-weigh. and stiffness-to-weigh. ratio *** study focuses on th. effectiveness of liquid nitrogen(LN_(2))assisted cryogenic mach.ning on th. surface integrity(SI)ch.racteristics of AZ91 magnesium *** milling using uncoated carbide inserts h.ve been p.rformed under liquid nitrogen(LN_(2))assisted cryogenic condition and comp.red with.conventional(dry)*** are p.rformed using mach.ning p.rameters in terms of cutting sp.eds of 325,475,625 m/min,feed rates of 0.05,0.1,0.15 mm/teeth.and dep.h.of cuts of 0.5,1,1.5 mm *** significant surface integrity ch.racteristics such.as surface rough.ess,microh.rdness,microstructure,and residual stresses h.ve been *** of SI ch.racteristics with.resp.ct to milling p.rameters h.ve been identified using statistical tech.ique such.as ANOVA and signal-to-noise(S/N)ratio ***,th. multi criteria decision making(MCDM)tech.iques such.as additive ratio assessment meth.d(ARAS)and comp.ex p.op.rtional assessment(COp.AS)h.ve been utilized to identify th. op.imal conditions for milling AZ91 magnesium alloy under both.dry and cryogenic *** of LN_(2)during mach.ning,resulted in reduction in mach.ning temp.rature by up.o 29%with.a temp.rature drop.from 251.2℃under dry condition to 178.5℃in cryogenic *** sh.wed th. advantage of p.rforming cryogenic milling in imp.oving th. surface integrity to a significant *** mach.ning considerably minimized th. rough.ess by up.o 28%and maximised th. microh.rdness by up.o 23%,wh.n comp.red to dry *** sp.ed h.s caused significant imp.ct on surface rough.ess(95.33%-dry,92.92%-cryogenic)and surface microh.rdness(80.33%-dry,82.15%-cryogenic).Due to th. reduction in mach.ning temp.rature,cryogenic condition resulted in comp.essive residual stresses(maximumσ║=-113 Mp.)on th. alloy *** indicate no
