In this paper,we present an attempt at analyzing the seasonal pattern of the Babesiosis transmission dynamics in bovine and tick *** infestation rate plays an important role in the variation of *** this logic,we set out a mathematical model with variable infestation rate for the evolution of babesiosis *** the(0,2)-Jacobi multi-wavelets method combined with the decoupling and quasi-linearization technique,we demonstrate the validity and applicability of our ***,a set of experimental data is used to validate the proposed model under the same operating *** results of numerical simulations are provided to show the impact of seasonality on the transmission dynamics of ***,a numerical study of the model varying the control parameters of babesiosis shows different scenarios about the spread of the disease.

Living-donor liver transplantation has provided a solution to the severe lack of cadaver grafts for the replacement of liver afflicted with end-stage cirrhosis, fulminant disease, or inborn errors of metabolism. Vascular complications remain the most serious complications and a common cause for graft failure after hepatic transplantation. Doppler ultrasound remains the primary radiological imaging modality for the diagnosis of such complications. This article presents a brief review of intra- and post-operative living donor liver transplantation anatomy and a synopsis of the role of ultrasonography and color Doppler in evaluating the graft vascular haemodynamics both during surgery and post-operatively in accurately defining the early vascular complications. Intra-operative ultrasonography of the liver graft provides the surgeon with useful real-time diagnostic and staging information that may result in an alteration in the planned surgical approach and corrections of surgical complications during the procedure of vascular anastomoses. The relevant intraoperative anatomy and the spectrum of normal and abnormal findings are described. Ultrasonography and color Doppler also provides the clinicians and surgeons early post-operative potential developmental complications that may occur during hospital stay. Early detection and thus early problem solving can make the difference between graft survival and failure.

上颌阻生第三磨牙多位于上颌结节区,此区域手术操作空间小、视野差。本文报道1例牙冠位于邻牙两牙根之间、与上颌窦关系密切的上颌水平超高位阻生第三磨牙的拔除。利用数字化模拟技术三维重建患者部分上颌骨、相关牙齿等毗邻解剖结构,精准制定最佳手术方案,采用牙根先脱位、牙冠后脱位法拔除阻生牙。该法既保护了邻牙牙根,也降低了上颌窦黏膜损伤以及穿孔的风险,提高了手术效率,减小了手术创伤,符合微创牙槽外科理念,为临床上拔除此类埋伏阻生牙提供了新思路和经验。

Background: Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) stands as a prominent postoperative complication in on-pump cardiac surgery, with repercussions on morbidity, mortality, and hospitalization duration. Current diagnostic criteria relying on serum creatinine levels exhibit a delayed identification of AKI, prompting an exploration of alternative biomarkers. Aims and Objectives: This study is designed to overcome diagnostic constraints and explore the viability of serum Cystatin C as an early predictor of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in individuals undergoing on-pump cardiac surgery. The investigation aims to establish the relationship between serum Cystatin C levels and the onset of AKI in patients subjected to on-pump cardiac surgery. Primary objectives involve the assessment of the diagnostic effectiveness of serum Cystatin C, its comparison with serum creatinine, and the exploration of its potential for the early identification and treatment of AKI. Methodology: Conducted as a single-center study at the cardiac surgery department of BSMMU in Bangladesh from September 2020 to August 2022, a comparative cross-sectional analysis involved 31 participants categorized into No AKI and AKI groups based on Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) criteria. Data collection encompassed preoperative, post-CBP (cardiopulmonary bypass) conclusion at 2 hours, postoperative day 1, and postoperative day 2 intervals. Statistical analyses included Chi-squared tests, independent Student’s t-tests, and one-sample t-tests. Significance was set at P Results: The study revealed no significant differences in baseline characteristics between the No AKI and AKI groups, except for CPB time and cross-clamp time. Serum Cystatin C levels in the AKI group exhibited statistical significance at various time points, highlighting its potential as an early detector. The satellite technology proves its impact in the modern era with itswide benefits and applications. However, the cost of the development in this fieldpresents gaps in many countries, almost the developed countries. Therefore, thispaper provides a rich platform around low-cost sensors in order to improve maturity in space technology, mostly the system of attitude determination and *** development of this knowledge turns out to be very interesting in order toachieve a space mission which leads to the progression of the spatial technologyreadiness level (TRL) defined by the international measurement scale which isable to estimate the technological maturity. Thus, the idea is carried out for thedevelopment of low-cost sensors’ system for attitude determination around anArduino board. A sensor fusion method was applied on three types of sensors:accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope in order to detect the reliable orientation. It is aimed to apply quaternion based Kalman filter on different platformthan previous systems. It is succeeded therefore to improve measurementaccuracy around low-cost sensor to achieve the main goal of this paper.

The predisposition to stroke might involve interactive effects among variants in several *** tested this hypothesis by examining the influence of polymorphisms in methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase（MTHFR）（C677T） and prothrombin（F2）（G20210A） as risk factors for stroke in *** polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism methods were used to analyze DNA from 91 stroke patients and 182 *** between the two polymorphisms and the risk of stroke was estimated by four-level models for the analysis of genetic *** the MTHFR 677TT nor the F2 20210GA genotype showed any significant association compared to the MTHFR CC and F2 GG genotypes,*** interactive effect between the MTHFR 677TT and F2 20210GA polymorphisms showed an increased risk of *** odds ratios,in univariate and multivariate analysis,for the combined polymorphisms were 4.99（95% CI,1.75–14.2,P = 0.001） and 5.29（95% CI,1.63–17.1,P = 0.005）,respectively.

A suitable simple optical cryostat for optical, magneto-optical, electrical and thermo-electrical measurements was designed. It is suitable for use in a magnetic pool gap as narrow as less than 1 cm. Throughout a long period of time, the heat diffusion process of the cryostat can be easily operated at slow increase in sample temperature in a range 1.25 K/min at 200 K that will be reduced gradually to 0.66 K at room temperature. Liquid nitrogen was used to cool down the temperature. During the operation, the change in the measured energy gap of a semiconductor sample and other physical parameters resulting from the change of temperature can be corrected through the temperature coefficient of that parameter at the corresponding temperature. The cryostat was successfully used for all experiments mentioned above to measure the properties of a single crystal of GaP (Gallium Phosphate) semiconductor.

The current study aimed to evaluate the first aid knowledge and general awareness of bleeding control, and their relations with different variables among the population of Jazan City, Saudi Arabia, in 2023. A cross-sectional study was conducted in Jazan City, Saudi Arabia between April 2023 and May 2023. Participants, >13 years old, living in Jazan City, were self-enrolled. Data collection was carried out by distributing a self-reported online survey questionnaire via email and social media apps. A validated, pretested online self-report questionnaire was used for data collection, with data analysis performed using (MS) Excel 2022 and SPSS version 26. A Chi-square test was used to determine the association of sociodemographic variables and Bleeding Control (BC) knowledge with, significance set at p < 0.05. A total of 250 participants completed the questionnaire, predominantly aged between 16 - 25 years, with 152 (60.8%) being male, and about 90% being Saudi citizens. Only 53 (21.2%) participated in previous first aid training concentrating on bleeding control. Only 76 (30.4%) of participants had good knowledge, while 131 (52.4%) exhibited positive attitude towards BC first aid. There were no statistically significant associations between BC knowledge and age, gender, occupation, nationality, and education. However, a significant association was observed between previous BC training and knowledge (Chi-test = 40.373, d.f = 1, p = 0.000) at p < 0.05. Conclusion: The prevalence of poor knowledge of bleeding control among community members in Jazan City was high. The findings of this study should be carefully considered by various healthcare organizations to implement educational first-aid programs and activities aimed at enhancing community awareness and knowledge of bleeding control.

The work studied a non-catalytic upgrading of fast pyrolysis bio-oil by blending under supercritical conditions using methanol,ethanol and isopropanol as solvent and hydrogen *** of the bio-oil and the upgraded bio-oils was carried out including moisture content,elemental content,pH,heating value,gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GCMS),Fourier transform infrared radiation,13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy,and thermogravimetric analysis to evaluate the effects of blending and supercritical *** GCMS analysis indicated that the supercritical methanol reaction removed the acids in the bio-oil consequently the pH increased from 2.39 in the crude bio-oil to 4.04 after the supercritical methanol *** ester contents increased by 87.49% after the supercritical methanol reaction indicating ester formation could be the major deacidification mechanism for reducing the acidity of the bio-oil and improving its pH *** blending crude bio-oil with isopropanol was effective in increasing the C and H content,reducing the O content and increasing the heating value to 27.55 from 17.51 MJ·kg^-1 in the crude *** the supercritical isopropanol reaction,the heating value o f the liquid product slightly further increased to 28.85 MJ·kg^-1.
