Despite outstanding accomplishments in catalyst discovery,finding new,more efficient,environmentally neutral,and noble metalfree catalysts remains challenging and ***,complex solid solutions consisting of at least five different elements and often named as high-entropy alloys have emerged as a new class of electrocatalysts for a variety of *** multicomponent combinations of elements facilitate tuning of active sites and catalytic *** optimal catalyst composition remains difficult,making testing of a very high number of them *** present the high-throughput screening of the electrochemical activity of thin film material libraries prepared by combinatorial co-sputtering of metals which are commonly used in catalysis(Pd,cu,Ni)combined with metals which are not commonly used in catalysis(Ti,Hf,Zr).Introducing unusual elements in the search space allows discovery of catalytic activity for hitherto unknown *** libraries with very similar composition spreads can show different activities *** trends for different *** order to address the inherent challenge of the huge combinatorial material space and the inability to predict active electrocatalyst compositions,we developed a high-throughput process based on co-sputtered material libraries,and performed high-throughput characterization using energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),scanning transmission electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and conductivity measurements followed by electrochemical screening by means of a scanning droplet *** results show surprising material compositions with increased activity for the oxygen reduction reaction and the hydrogen evolution *** data are important input data for future data-driven materials prediction.

In this study, an extension and realization of active learning for the learning-by-demonstration paradigm by multi-phase human feedback demonstrations is primarily investigated with the application on the human indoor navigational skill modelling for wheelchair navigation. With this experimental design, the learning performance is experimentally on-line evaluated and improved over the learning phases in term of the similarities between demonstrations and autonomous navigation. The approach is useful to identify and collect critical training data, which is hard to achieve for systems with different dynamic parameters in the demonstration and application stages. With this approach, the learning performance of the navigational learning approach is improved, as shown in the experimental results presented.

Teachers' Impacts on Female Students Self-Esteem: ——A Case...

In the Democratic Republic of congo (D. R. c), women and girls are the most affected by social, cultural, political and judicial realities. Education through teaching and training is a significant population base and a major challenge for the sustainable development of a country. It is education that is based on the creation of a society called developed society. In the congolese society, men and women mentalities are in most cases related to the traditional customs and culture of their native environments (ethnic group). This has a major impact or influence on the mentality of the the congolese man in educational design for children. Females are the most affected by the traditional culture, even if they have opportunity to, study they are not engaged and it easy for them to quit the school at anytime.The purpose of this case study was to highlight the female student's feeling in their interaction and interpersonal communication with teachers by focusing on the behavior of teacher towards th em which might influence female student self-esteem.Three series of questionnaires were used as followed:Two series of Questionnaire for Teacher Interpersonal behaviour (QTI) were given to teachers and female students'to measure teachers' Self-perception behaviour and students'perception of teachers'behaviour;and one serie of Questionnaire was given to students for state of self-esteem. The results revealed high scores on Leadership, helping-friendly, understanding and strict teachers'behaviour and low scores on student responsibility, freedom, Uncertain, Dissatisfaction and Admonishing teachers'behaviour. While the results on female students'self-esteem perception indicated that performance self-esteem and appearance self-esteem were higher than social self-esteem.

cutting-edge technologies are extremely useful to develop new workflows in studying ecological data,particularly to understand animal behavior and movement trajectories at the individual *** parental care is a well-studied phenomenon,most studies have been focused on direct observational or video recording data,as well as experimental ***,what happens out of our sight still remains *** high-frequency GPS/GSM dataloggers and tri-axial accelerometers we monitored 25 Bonelli’s eagles Aquila fasciata during the breeding season to understand parental activities from a broader *** used recursive data,measured as number of visits and residence time,to reveal nest attendance patterns of biparental care with role specialization between *** data interpreted as the overall dynamic body acceleration,a proxy of energy expenditure,showed strong differences in parental effort throughout the breeding season and between ***,males increased substantially their energetic requirements,due to the increased workload,while females spent most of the time on the ***,during critical phases of the breeding season,a low percentage of suitable hunting spots in eagles’territories led them to increase their ranging behavior in order to find food,with important consequences in energy consumption and mortality *** results highlight the crucial role of males in raptor species exhibiting biparental ***,we exemplify how biologging technologies are an adequate and objective method to study parental care in raptors as well as to get deeper insight into breeding ecology of birds in general.

The utilization of biodegradable magnesium(Mg)-based implants for restoration of bone function following trauma represents a transformative approach in orthopaedic *** such alloy,magnesium-10 weight percent gadolinium(Mg-10Gd),has been specifically developed to address the rapid degradation of Mg while enhancing its mechanical properties to promote bone *** studies have demonstrated that Mg-10Gd exhibits favorable osseointegration;however,it exhibits distinct ultrastructural adaptation in comparison to conventional implants like titanium(Ti).A crucial aspect that remains unexplored is the impact of Mg-10Gd degradation on the bone *** address this,we employed hierarchical three-dimensional imaging using synchrotron radiation in conjunction with image-based finite element *** using the methods outlined,the vascular porosity,lacunar porosity and the lacunar-canaliculi network(LcN)morphology of bone around Mg-10Gd in comparison to Ti in a rat model from 4 weeks to 20 weeks post-implantation was *** investigation revealed that within our observation period,the degradation of Mg-10Gd implants was associated with significantly lower(pcunar density in the surrounding bone,compared to ***,the LcN morphology and the fluid flow analysis did not significantly differ for both implant *** summary,a more pronounced lower lacunae distribution rather than their morphological changes was detected in the surrounding bone upon the degradation of Mg-10Gd *** implies potential disparities in bone remodelling rates when compared to Ti *** findings shed light on the intricate relationship between Mg-10Gd degradation and bone microarchitecture,contributing to a deeper understanding of the implications for successful osseointegration.

Introduction: cervical cancer is a public health concern and is mainly caused by Human papillomaviruses (HPV). In many parts of the world, studies are being carried out to understand the different genotypes to better tackle this issue. We conducted a study to determine the prevalence of HPV genotypes in women with chronic hepatitis B or c infection, co-infected or not with HIV, treated at the Hôpital Saint camille in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). Methods: This study was conducted from April to July 2023, including 100 women in gastroenterology at Hôpital Saint camille. A questionnaire on their socio-demographic and life style was administrated;and endocervical samples were collected using sterile swabs and then sent to centre of Biomolecular Research Pietro Annigoni (cERBA). HPV molecular detection and genotyping were performed by PcR and hybridization using the HPV Direct Flow chips kit. Data were analysis using chi square test or Fischer’s exact test with a significance threshold for p Results: The prevalence of HPV infection was 28% (28/100) on the sample of women tested. The most frequent genotypes were HPV 52 (8.33%), followed by HPV 18 and 68 (6.25% each) for high-risk HPVs, and HPV 6, 44/55 and 62/81 (8.33% each) for low-risk HPVs. conclusion: This study, the first of its kind in Burkina Faso on this group of the population, reveals that the most frequent genotypes found in this study are not included in the vaccine available in Burkina Faso (Gardasil®4).

Hepatocellular carcinoma(Hcc) is one of the most prevalent malignancies worldwide and the second leading cause of death among all cancer types. Deregulation of the networks of tissue-specific transcription factors(TFs) observed in Hcc leads to profound changes in the hepatic transcriptional program that facilitates tumor progression. In addition, recent reports suggest that substantial aberrations in the production of TF isoforms occur in Hcc. In vitro experiments have identified distinct isoform-specific regulatory functions and related biological effects of liver-specific TFs that are implicated in carcinogenesis, which may be relevant for tumor progression and clinical outcome. This study reviews available data on the expression of isoforms of liver-specific and ubiquitous TFs in the liver and Hcc and their effects, including HNF4α, c/EBPs, p73 and TcF7 L2, and indicates that assessment of the ratio of isoforms and targeting specific TF variants may be beneficial for the prognosis and treatment of Hcc.

Industrial and agricultural activities lead to the release of rare earth elements(REEs)in wastewater and aquatic ecosystems,and their accumulation in ***,the behavior of REEs in soils remains somewhat *** the present work the fractionation and fixation of REEs in soddy-podzolic and chernozem soils spiked with La,ce,and Nd chlorides were studied using dynamic(continuous flow)extraction,which allows natural conditions to be mimicked and artefacts to be *** eluents applied are aimed to dissolve exchangeable,specifically sorbed,bound to Mn oxides,bound to metal-organic complexes,and bound to amorphous and poorly ordered Fe/Al oxides fractions extractable by 0.05 mol/L ca(NO_(3))2,0.43 mol/L cH_(3)cOOH,0.1 mol/L NH_(2)OH·Hcl,0.1 mol/L K_(4)P_(2)O_(7) at pH 11,and 0.1 mol/L(NH4)_(2)c_(2)O_(4) at pH 3.2,*** is found that the fixations of added La,ce,and Nd in the form of metal-organic complexes is predominant for both types of soils:35%-38%in soddy-podzolic soil and 50%-79%in *** fixation of added elements in the first three fractions(exchangeable,specifically sorbed,and bound to Mn oxides)is significant for soddy-podzolic soil(5%-25%).For chernozem,the relative contents of added ce and Nd in these fractions are nearly *** the content of exchangeable La is notable,about 5%.Adding any of three elements(La,ce,or Nd)at the level of100 mg/kg to an initial sample results in changing the fractionation and bioaccessibility of other REEs present in *** contents increase in the first three fractions and decrease in fifth(oxalate extractable)fraction for both soddy-podzolic soil and *** main difference is the behavior of REEs in pyrophosphate extractable *** soddy-podzolic soil,adding La,ce,or Nd results in decreasing the contents of other REEs associated with organic *** chernozem,on the contrary,the contents of REEs in the form of metal-organic complexes slightly *** processes

AIM:To evaluate the relationship between gallbladder (GB) motor function and H pylori infection in the stomach. METHODS: All cases (86) underwent the 14c urea breath test (UBT). 14c-UBT was found as positive in 58 and negative in 28 dyspeptic patients. 14c- UBT was accepted as a gold standard test. clo test and histopathologic examination were compared with the results of 14c-UBT in cases who tolerated upper gastrointestinal endoscopy procedure. cholescintigraphy with 99mTc-mebrofenin was used to determine the parameters of GB motor function (GB filling and emptying time, half of the emptying time, ejection fraction at 30th and 60th min) in all patients. RESULTS: We found the sensitivity and specificity as 88% and 86% for clo test and as 89% and 80% for histologic evaluation, respectively. The parameters of GB function were not significantly different in H pylori positive and negative patients. The GB emptying was normal in both groups. Minimum GB filling time was 30 min in 34 of 86 cases (39.5%), filling was not observed in 2 cases. The GB ultrasonography (USG) results were normal for all cases and bile composition abnormality was not ***: Our study showed that 14c-UBT is highly reliable method to detect the presence of H pylori. The presence of H pylori infection does not directly affect the GB function.
