摘      要:In the Democratic Republic of Congo (D. R. C), women and girls are the most affected by social, cultural, political and judicial realities. Education through teaching and training is a significant population base and a major challenge for the sustainable development of a country. It is education that is based on the creation of a society called developed society. In the Congolese society, men and women mentalities are in most cases related to the traditional customs and culture of their native environments (ethnic group). This has a major impact or influence on the mentality of the the Congolese man in educational design for children. Females are the most affected by the traditional culture, even if they have opportunity to, study they are not engaged and it easy for them to quit the school at anytime. The purpose of this case study was to highlight the female student s feeling in their interaction and interpersonal communication with teachers by focusing on the behavior of teacher towards th em which might influence female student self-esteem. Three series of questionnaires were used as followed:Two series of Questionnaire for Teacher Interpersonal behaviour (QTI) were given to teachers and female students to measure teachers Self-perception behaviour and students perception of teachers behaviour;and one serie of Questionnaire was given to students for state of self-esteem. The results revealed high scores on Leadership, helping-friendly, understanding and strict teachers behaviour and low scores on student responsibility, freedom, Uncertain, Dissatisfaction and Admonishing teachers behaviour. While the results on female students self-esteem perception indicated that performance self-esteem and appearance self-esteem were higher than social self-esteem.
