The radiating cable (or leaky f.eder) is the leading solution f.r distributed broadband wireless access in underground m.nes and tunnels. The traditional radiating cable has equally spaced slots along its axis radiating evenly. However, with the new requirem.nt f.r tracking and localization of.m.ners, this paper shows how to m.dif. the leaky f.eder to f.nction as a beam.f.rm.ng antenna array by appropriately optim.zing the slot spacing. Optim.zing the leaky f.eder slot distances using Genetic algorithm.has a good im.act on the channel param.ters, m.king it an excellent choice f.r leaky f.eder antennas. Linear, as well as bent practical leaky f.eder shapes, were considered, and we tested f.ve dif.erent optim.zation algorithm. and com.ared side lobe energies, varying the slot distance which had an im.act on side lobe level. Also, we derived the expression f.r the BER, spectral ef.iciency and throughput considering a tim.-varying wireless channel. We observed that as the radius of.curvature of.the f.eder increased (approaching a straight line), the spectral ef.iciency decreased as expected. Interestingly dif.erent optim.zation algorithm. perf.rm.dif.erently at dif.erent carrier f.equencies. An optim.zation m.thod should be chosen according to the required goal to be achieved (m.intaining unif.rm.equal power along the cable, or a m.re directed beam. or using a certain f.equency of.operation).

This paper is devoted to investigate the inf.uences of.therm.l dispersion and m.gnetic f.eld on a hot sem.-inf.nite vertical porous plate em.edded in a saturated Darcy-f.rchheim.r-Brinkm.n porous m.dium. The coef.icient of.therm.l dif.usivity has been assum.d to be the sum.of.the m.lecular dif.usivity and the dynam.c dif.usivity due to m.chanical dispersion. The ef.ects of.transverse m.gnetic f.eld param.ter (Hartm.nn num.er Ha), Reynolds num.er Re (dif.erent velocities), Prandtl num.er Pr (dif.erent types of.f.uids) and dispersion param.ter on the wall shear stress and the heat transf.r rate are discussed.

f.brous dysplasia(f.)is a rare,disabling skeletal disease f.r which there are no established *** evidence supports inhibiting the osteoclastogenic f.ctor receptor activator of.nuclear kappa-B ligand(RANKL)as a potential treatm.nt *** this study,we investigated the m.chanism. underlying RANKL inhibition in f. tissue and its likely indirect ef.ects on osteoprogenitors by evaluating hum.n f. tissue pre-and post-treatm.nt in a phase 2 clinical trial of.denosum.b(NCT03571191)and in m.rine in vivo and ex vivo preclinical *** analysis of.hum.n and m.use tissue dem.nstrated increased osteogenic m.turation,reduced cellularity,and reduced expression of.the pathogenic Gαs variant in f. lesions af.er RANKL *** sequencing of.hum.n and m.use tissue supported these *** interaction between osteoclasts and m.tant osteoprogenitors was f.rther assessed in an ex vivo lesion m.del,which indicated that the prolif.ration of.abnorm.l f. osteoprogenitors was dependent on *** results f.om.this study dem.nstrated that,in addition to its expected antiosteoclastic ef.ect,denosum.b reduces f. lesion activity by decreasing f. cell prolif.ration and increasing osteogenic m.turation,leading to increased bone f.rm.tion within *** f.ndings highlight the unappreciated role of.cellular crosstalk between osteoclasts and preosteoblasts/osteoblasts as a driver of.f. pathology and dem.nstrate a novel m.chanism.of.action of.denosum.b in the treatm.nt of.bone disease.

A com.arison has been m.de between plasm. and gas nitrocarburizing processes f.r C60W steel in term. of.structural f.atures of.the layers and the tribological properties of.the specim.ns. Gaseous treatm.nts were perf.rm.d in a sealed quench industrial f.rnace in optim.zed process cycles. f.r plasm. nitrocarburizing, a sem. - industrial size unit was operated at a range of.process param.ters. Experim.ntal results indicate that increasing the treatm.nt tim. increases the thickness of.the com.ound layer but lowers the wear resistance. Plasm. treatm.nt produced a m.re ef.ective case depth com.ared with gaseous process, providing a better unif.rm.ty. Analysis of.X-ray dif.raction patterns indicated that the com.ound layer in gas nitrocarburizing consisted of.both e and y’ phases, whereas in plasm. nitrocarburizing the e phase was not detected.

The CNO cycle is the m.in source of.energy in stars m.re m.ssive than our *** process def.nes the energy production,the duration of.which can be used to determ.ne the lif.tim. of.m.ssive *** cycle is an im.ortant tool f.r determ.ning the age of.globular *** proton capture via p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ,at energies of.astrophysical interest,is an im.ortant process in the CNO *** this project,we apply a potential m.del to describe both non-resonant and resonant reactions in the channels where radiative capture occurs through electric E1 *** em.loyed the R-m.trix m.thod to describe the ongoing reactions via m. resonant transitions,when it was not possible to correctly reproduce the experim.ntal data using the potential *** partial com.onents of.the astrophysical S-f.ctor are calculated f.r all possible electric and m.gnetic dipole transitions in ^(15)*** linear extrapolated S-f.ctor at zero energy(S(0))agrees well with earlier reported values f.r all transition types considered in this *** on the value of.the total astrophysical S-f.ctor,depending on the collision energy,we calculate the nuclear reaction rates f.r p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ.The com.uted rates agree well with the results reported in the NACRE II Collaboration and m.st recent existing m.asurem.nts.

m.m.ry loss and dem.ntia are m.jor public health concerns with a substantial econom.c *** stress has been shown to play a crucial role in the pathophysiology of.hippocam.al dam.ge-induced m.m.ry *** investigate whether the antioxidant and anti-inf.am.atory com.ound vanillyla cetone(zingerone) can protect against hippocam.al dam.ge and m.m.ry loss induced by cadm.um.chloride(CdCl_(2)) adm.nistration in rats,we explo red the potential involvem.nt of.the nuclear f.ctor erythroid 2-related f.ctor 2(Nrf.) signaling pathway,which is known to m.dulate oxidative stress and *** healt hy m.le Wistar rats were divided into f.ve groups:vehicle-treated(control),vanillylacetone,CdCl_(2),vanillylacetone+ CdCl_(2),vanillylacetone+ CdCl_(2)+ brusatol(a selective pharm.cological N rf.inhibitor) *** ef.ectively attenuated CdCl_(2)-induced dam.ge in the dental gyrus of.the hippocam.us and im.roved the m.m.ry f.nction assessed by the m.rris Water m.ze ***,vanillylacetone m.rkedly decreased the hippocam.al tissue levels of.inf.am.atory biom.rkers(interleukin-6,tum.r necrosis f.ctor-α,intracellular cell adhesive m.lecules) and apoptosis biom.rkers(Bax and cleaved caspase-3).The control and CdCl_(2)-treated groups treated with va nillylacetone showed reduced generation of.reactive oxygen species,decreased m.londialdehyde levels,and increased superoxide dism.tase and glutathione activities,along with signif.cant elevation of.nuclear Nrf. m.NA and protein expression in hippocam.al *** the protective ef.ects of.vanillylacetone we re substantially blocked by the co-adm.nistration of.brusatol(a selective N rf. inhibitor).Va nillylacetone m.tigated hippocam.al dam.ge and m.m.ry loss induced by CdCl_(2),at least in part, by activating the nuclear transcription f.ctor ***,vanillylacetone exerted its potent antioxidant and antiinf.am.atory actions.
