Intestinal endometriosis-A rare cause of colonic perforation

Endometriosis is the ectopic growth of viable endometrium outside the uterus, affecting approximately 7% of females. It commonly affects pelvic structures including the bowel. Perforation of the colon by endometriosis is very rare and the patients generally present with an asymptomatic or painful pelvic mass, often in the left iliac fossa. Our patient presented acutely unwell and her symptoms were more suggestive of pyelonephritis or diverticulitis. We therefore report an unusual cause of acute abdomen. The purpose of the following case report is to elucidate certain diagnostic and therapeutic problems of the disease, concerning both surgeons and gynaecologists. In summary, intestinal endometriosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of all post-menarche women with episodic gastrointestinal symptoms. A past history of endometriosis or co-existent gynaecological symptoms should increase the index of suspicion, and taparoscopy prior to formal laparotomy should be considered. Our patient, in retrospect, had a history of mild endometriosis, but we feel that this case serves as a reminder of a rare, but important, differential diagnosis of acute abdomen in females.

Spectral unmixing is essential for exploitation of remotely senseddata of Hyperspectral Images (HSI). It amounts to the identification of a position of spectral signatures that are pure and therefore called end members andtheir matching fractional, draft rules abundances for every pixel in HSI. Thispaper aims to unmix hyperspectral data using the minimal volume methodof elementary scrutiny. Moreover, the problem of optimization is solved bythe implementation of the sequence of small problems that are constrainedquadratically. The hard constraint in the final step for the abundance fractionis then replaced with a loss function of hinge type that accounts for outlinersand noise. Existing algorithms focus on estimating the endmembers (Ems)enumeration in a sight, discerning of spectral signs of EMs, besides assessmentof fractional profusion for every EM in every pixel of a sight. Nevertheless, allthe stages are performed by only a few algorithms in the process of hyperspectral unmixing. Therefore, the Non-negative Minimum Volume Factorization(NMVF) algorithm is further extended by fusing it with the nonnegativematrix of robust collaborative factorization that aims to perform all the threeunmixing chain steps for hyperspectral images. The major contributions ofthis article are in this manner: (A) it performs Simplex analysis of minimum volume for hyperspectral images with unsupervised linear unmixing isemployed. (B) The simplex analysis method is configured with an exaggeratedform of the elementary which is delivered by vertical component analysis(VCA). (C) The inflating factor is chosen carefully inactivating the constraintsin a large majority for relating to the source fractions abundance that speedsup the algorithm. Objective:To estimate the seroprevalence,morbidity of Taenia solium(***) cysticercosis and its relationship to socio-economic,sanitary ***:Using multistage stratified random sampling.2 500 subjects from urban(n=1 250) and rural population(n =1 250) of Lucknow. Effects of urea,metal ions and surfactants on the binding of baicalein with bovine serum albumin

The interaction of baicalein with bovine serum albumin（BSA） was investigated with the help of spectroscopic and molecular docking *** binding affinity of baicalein towards BSA was estimated to be in order of 10~5 M^（-1） from fluorescence quenching *** ΔH°（-5.66 ＋ 0.14 kJ/mol） and positive（ΔS°）（＋ 79.96 ＋ 0.65J/mol K） indicate the presence of electrostatic interactions along with the hydrophobic forces that result in a positive ΔS°.The hydrophobic association of baicalein with BSA diminishes in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate（SDS） due to probable hydrophobic association of baicalein with SDS,resulting in a negative ΔS°（-40.65 ＋ 0.87 J/mol K）.Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization/time of flight（MALDI-TOF） experiments indicate a 1：1 complexation between baicalein and *** unfolding and refolding phenomena of BSA were investigated in the absence and presence of baicalein using steady-state and fluorescence lifetime *** was observed that the presence of urea ruptured the non-covalent interaction between baicalein and *** presence of metal ions（Ag~＋,Mg^（2＋）,Ni^（2＋）,Mn^（2＋）,Co^（2＋） and Zn^（2＋）） increased the binding affinity of ligand towards *** changes in conformational aspects of BSA after ligand binding were also investigated using circular dichroism（CD） and Fourier transform infrared（FT-IR） spectroscopic *** selectivity studies following molecular docking analyses indicated the binding of baicalein to site 1（subdomain MA） of BSA.
