Expression profile of long non-coding RNAs in the intestine of black rockfish Sebastes schlegelii in response to Edwardsiella tarda infection

Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are a class of transcripts longer than 200 bp,which have been emerged as essential regulators in numerous biological processes.Black rockfish(Sebastes schlegelii)is an economic fish that widely cultured in the coastal areas of China,Japan,and South Korea.With the expansion of aquacultural scale,various pathogens have threatened its industry and reduced its economic values.It has been reported that lncRNA were involved in the immune response and metabolic pathway in teleost,while no study is available on identification and functional analysis of lncRNAs in black rockfish so far.Herein,this study was performed to identify lncRNAs in the intestine of black rockfish after Edwardsiella tarda infection.In our results,a total of 9311 lncRNAs were identified through highthroughput sequencing,and 102 lncRNAs were significantly regulated following challenge,which were predicted to target 3348 mRNAs.Results of Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)enrichment analyses of the se target genes showed they were function in catalytic activity,hydrolase activity,defense response and peptidase activity,which involved in metabolic pathways and immune related pathways.In addition,47 lncRNAs and 8 differentially expressed mRNAs(DEmRNAs)showed co-expression at two or more infection time points with metabolism and immunity functions.Moreover,real-time quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR)was performed to verify the reliability of sequencing gene expression analysis results.This research laid the foundation for further investigation of the regulatory roles of lncRNAs in the intestinal immune response of black rockfish.

The Su–Schrieffer–Heeger(SSH)model,commonly used for robust state transfers through topologically protected edge pumping,has been generalized and exploited to engineer diverse functional quantum devices.Here,we propose to realize a fast topological beam splitter based on a generalized SSH model by accelerating the quantum state transfer(QST)process essentially limited by adiabatic requirements.The scheme involves delicate orchestration of the instantaneous energy spectrum through exponential modulation of nearest neighbor coupling strengths and onsite energies,yielding a significantly accelerated beam splitting process.Due to properties of topological pumping and accelerated QST,the beam splitter exhibits strong robustness against parameter disorders and losses of system.In addition,the model demonstrates good scalability and can be extended to two-dimensional crossed-chain structures to realize a topological router with variable numbers of output ports.Our work provides practical prospects for fast and robust topological QST in feasible quantum devices in large-scale quantum information processing.

Protection of MES23.5 dopaminergic cells by obestatin is mediated by proliferative rather than anti-apoptotic action

Obestatin is an endogenous peptide sharing a precursor with ghrelin. This study aims to investigate whether and how obestatin protects MES23.5 dopaminergic cells against 1-methyl-4- phenylpyridinium （MPP^＋）-induced neurotoxicity. MES23.5 cells were pretreated with obestatin （10^-13- 10^-6 mol/L） for 20 min prior to incubation with 200 μmol/L MPP^＋ for 12 or 24 h, or treated with obestatin alone （10^-13 to 10^-6 mol/L） for 0, 6, 12, and 24 h. The methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium （MTT） assay was used to measure cell viability. Flow cytometry was used to measure the caspase-3 activity and the mitochondrial transmembrane potential. Proliferating cell nuclear antigen （PCNA） protein levels were determined by Western blotting. Obestatin （10^-13 to 10^-7 mol/L） pretreatment blocked or even reversed the MPP^＋ induced reduction of viability in MES23.5 cells, but had no effect on MPP^＋-induced mitochondrial transmembrane potential collapse and caspase-3 activation. When applied alone, obestatin increased viability. Elevated PCNA levels occurred with 10^-7, 10^-9, 10^-11 and 10^-13 mol/L obestatin treatment for 12 h. The results suggest that the protective effects of obestatin against MPP^＋ in MES23.5 cells are due to its proliferation-promoting rather than anti-apoptotic effects.

针对传统滑模控制在移动机器人编队中滑模面设计复杂、趋近率效果不佳的问题,提出了一种基于反步滑模的移动机器人编队控制算法。利用反步法的思想并结合移动机器人的位姿差微分方程,通过引入虚拟控制量,解决了移动机器人多输入非线性系统滑模面设计复杂的问题。理论分析了双幂次趋近率和快速幂次趋近率的趋近特征,据此设计了一种综合二者优势的快速分段幂次趋近率,提高了滑模控制趋近率的收敛速度。仿真验证了所提算法的有效性与正确性,仿真结果表明,所提算法能够快速实现编队,在存在扰动的情况下10 s内便可完成队形的重组,同时轨迹跟踪误差趋近于0。

Modeling and prediction of tribological properties of copper/aluminum-graphite self-lubricating composites using machine learning algorithms

The tribological properties of self-lubricating composites are influenced by many variables and complex mechanisms.Data-driven methods,including machine learning(ML)algorithms,can yield a better comprehensive understanding of complex problems under the influence of multiple parameters,typically for how tribological performances and material properties correlate.Correlation of friction coefficients and wear rates of copper/aluminum-graphite(Cu/Al-graphite)self-lubricating composites with their inherent material properties(composition,lubricant content,particle size,processing process,and interfacial bonding strength)and the variables related to the testing method(normal load,sliding speed,and sliding distance)were analyzed using traditional approaches,followed by modeling and prediction of tribological properties through five different ML algorithms,namely support vector machine(SVM),K-Nearest neighbor(KNN),random forest(RF),eXtreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),and least-squares boosting(LSBoost),based on the tribology experimental data.Results demonstrated that ML models could satisfactorily predict friction coefficient and wear rate from the material properties and testing method variables data.Herein,the LSBoost model based on the integrated learning algorithm presented the best prediction performance for friction coefficients and wear rates,with R2 of 0.9219 and 0.9243,respectively.Feature importance analysis also revealed that the content of graphite and the hardness of the matrix have the greatest influence on the friction coefficients,and the normal load,the content of graphite,and the hardness of the matrix influence the wear rates the most.

河北省乡村振兴水平评价及空间差异研究

[目的]对2010—2020年河北省及其各区域乡村振兴水平进行测度,并针对区域差异展开解析,以期为该区域农业绿色发展提供科学参考。[方法]文章构建河北省乡村振兴评价指标体系,然后基于2010—2020年的面板数据,综合运用熵权法、均权法、加权综合评价指数法对河北省及其区域乡村振兴水平进行测度,同时选取变异系数和锡尔指数对区域差异进行测度和分解。[结果](1)河北省乡村振兴发展水平及产业兴旺、生态宜居、乡风文明、治理有效、生活富裕5个子系统均呈现稳步逐年上升趋势,其中,乡风文明、治理有效两子系统水平偏低,产业兴旺和生态宜居水平相对较高,变化趋势以生态宜居增长最快,生活富裕增长缓慢,产业兴旺波动性较大。(2)河北省各区域乡村振兴水平和变化趋势差异较大。邯郸和唐山发展水平最高,沧州和承德相对较低,邯郸、保定、石家庄、张家口和承德5市水平提升较快,衡水变化最小,其他地区提升速度相对缓慢。(3)冀东、冀南地区的乡村振兴水平区域差异性较小,冀中、冀北区域差异相对较大,冀北和四大区域间差异是造成全省差异性的主要原因。[结论]河北省乡村振兴发展水平整体呈现逐年递增趋势,但增幅有限;地区发展不平衡,地区发展水平差距大,中心城市规模小,乡村之间、地区之间要素流动的成本高,难以对乡村造成有效辐射,农业产业基础薄弱,公共服务设施不足等诸多乡村振兴的短板依然存在。未来应继续加强推进缩小区域间差异,尤其是冀北和冀中地区内部乡村振兴发展不平衡问题较严重。

Stability of twins in Mg alloys-A short review

In this article,the stability of twins,especially{10–12}twins,in Mg alloys was critically reviewed.In the last decade,pre-twinning is considered to be an effective method for adjusting the microstructure and properties of wrought Mg alloys.Especially,formation of twin-texture can remarkably improve formability of rolled Mg alloys.However,the stability of{10–12}twins determines the effect of this method.Previous work revealed that initial{10–12}twins may either grow or shrink under further deformation,and may be removed by static recrystallization under thermal effect.It is considered that improving the stability of twin structure could enhance the contribution of twin-texture on subsequent plastic formability.Based on this background,stress stability and thermal stability of{10–12}twin structure were summarized and reviewed in this article.Finally,a few critical scientific problems in this research field were pointed out.©2020 Published by Elsevier B.V.on behalf of Chongqing University.

本文利用日本55年逐日再分析资料,发现在SH异常增强前,有三种不同的大气遥相关型前兆信号,即斯堪的纳维亚(SCA)型,西太平洋(WP)型,极地-欧亚(POL)型据此,本文将异常增强的SH分为对应的三类事件.合成结果表明,三类事件在典型环流特征和对东亚气温的影响上存在着明显的不同.具体而言,SCA类事件主要表现为在欧亚中高纬度上自西向东的波列异常,WP类事件表现为环流异常自下游太平洋/俄罗斯远东地区向西发展的特征,POL型事件的显著信号则来源于自极区向南移动的反气旋式环流异常.在对东亚地表气温的影响上,SCA类与POL类事件类似,它们均可造成大范围的低温异常.而WP类仅在我国北方和东部地区造成强度较弱的地表气温异常,但该异常的持续性特征较明显。

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide.Postmastectomy radiotherapy(PMRT)is an essential component of combined therapy for early-stage,high-risk breast cancer.Breast reconstruction(BR)is often considered for patients with breast cancer who have undergone mastectomy.There has been a considerable amount of discussion about the optimal approach to combining PMRT with BR in the treatment of breast cancer.PMRT may increase the risk of complications and prevent good aesthetic results after BR,while BR may increase the complexity of PMRT and the radiation dose to surrounding normal tissues.The purpose of this review is to give a broad overview and summary of the current controversies and trends in PMRT and BR in the context of the most recent literature available.

Microbial community coexisting with harmful alga Karenia mikimotoi and microbial control of algal bloom in laboratory

Algicidal bacteria have been frequently isolated from algal blooming areas.However,knowledge regarding the microbial communities coexisting with microalgae and their potential application in preventing harmful algal blooms(HABs)is limited.In this study,we investigated the composition of the microbial community coexisting with harmful alga Karenia mikimotoi and its responses to algal control via nutrient stimulation or by adding algicidal strain in microcosms.The microorganisms inhabiting the K.mikimotoi culture consisted of 24 identifi ed phyla,including dominant Proteobacteria(relative abundance 76.24%±7.28%)and Bacteroidetes(22.67%±8.32%).Rhodobacteraceae,Phaeodactylibacter,and Maritimibacter predominated during the algal cultivation.Both the added nutrient and fermentation broth of algicidal strain Pseudoalteromonas QF1 caused a massive death of K.mikimotoi and substantial changes in the coexisting microbial community,in which Rhodobacteraceae and Phaeodactylibacter signifi cantly decreased,while Halomonas and Alteromonas increased.Core operational taxonomic units(OTUs)analysis indicated that 13 OTUs belonging to Rhodobacteraceae,Maritimibacter,Marivita,Nisaea,Phaeodactylibacter,Citreicella,Halomonas,Alteromonas,Marinobacter,Muricauda,and Pseudoalteromonas dominated the changes of the microbial communities observed in the K.mikimotoi culture with or without treatments.Collectively,this study indicated that microbial community inhabiting K.mikimotoi culture includes potential algicidal bacteria,and improves our knowledge about microbial community succession during biocontrol of K.mikimotoi via nutrient stimulation or by adding isolated algicidal strains.
