Highly efficient transient stimulated Raman scattering on secondary vibrational mode of BaWO_(4) crystal due to its constructive interference with self-phase modulation

An exceptionally high stimulated Raman scattering[SRS]conversion efficiency to the first Stokes component associated with the secondary[low-frequency and low intensity]vibrational mode v2[~330 cm^[-1]]was observed in a BaWO4 crystal in a highly transient regime of *** effect takes place in the range of pump pulse energy from~0.1 to~0.5μJ with maximum energy conversion efficiency up to 35%at 0.2μ*** nature of the observed effects is explained by interference of SRS and self-phase modulation,where the latter is related to a noninstantaneous orientational Kerr nonlinearity in the BaWO4 crystal.

The mechanism of interaction between a cell and an external mechanical field is still poorly understood, and the accumulated diverse experimental data are often scattered. Therefore, the aim of this work was to systematize the experimental data in a mathematical model of the interaction between a cell and an external mechanical field based on standard kinetic equations and Fick’s diffusion equation. Assuming that the cortical cytoskeleton proteins play a key role in cell mechanosensitivity, we compared the results of mathematical modeling and experimental data concerning the content of cytoskeletal proteins at the early stages of a mechanical field change. In addition, the proposed mathematical model suggests the dynamics of changes of a key transcription factor, which is necessary for the expression of certain genes encoding cytoskeletal proteins.

Model test-systems for biochemical determination of glucose and cholesterol are designed by covalent coupling of enzymes to the surface of modified nanodiamonds (MND). In both cases after immobilization on MND the enzymes exhibit activity and catalyze the formation of a colored product in the chain of successive enzymatic reactions of oxidative azocoupling (Н2О2—4-aminoantipyrine—phenol). Produced MND-enzymes complexes: function in DI water and various buffers, over a wide range of temperature and pH, provide for the linear product yield over a broad concentration range of analyzed substances, make possible to test cholesterol and glucose in vitro many times, exhibit functional activity after long storage at + 4°C.

In the field of modern hydrogen energy,obtaining pure hydrogen and syngas and then being able to use them for green energy production are significant *** solid oxide fuel cells(SOFC)and catalytic membranes for oxygen separation as well as materials for these devices is one of the most likely ways to solve these *** this work,the authors’recent studies in this field are reviewed;the fundamentals of developing materials for SOFC cathodes and oxygen separation membranes’permselective layers based on research of their oxygen mobility and surface reactivity are ***-Popper phases Ln_(2-x)Ca_(x)NiO_(4+δ)(LnCNO)and perovskite-fluorite nanocomposites PrNi_(0.5)Co_(0.5)O_(3-δ)-Ce_(0.9)Y_(0.1)O_(2-δ)(PNC-YDC)were studied by isotope exchange of oxygen with C_(18)O_(2)and^(18)O_(2)in flow and closed *** LnCNO a high oxygen mobility was shown(D*~10^(-7)cm^(2)/s at 700℃),being provided by the cooperative mechanism of oxygen migration involving both regular and highly-mobile interstitial *** PNC-YDC dominated a wide fast diffusion channel via fluorite phase and interphases due to features of the redistribution of cations resulting in superior oxygen mobility(D*~10^(-8)cm^(2)/s at 700℃).After optimization of composition and nanodomain structure of these materials,as cathodes of SOFC they provided a high power density,while for asymmetric supported oxygen separation membranes-a high oxygen permeability.

众所周知,油页岩资源丰富,粗略估计有三万亿桶。如果成功开采,这种极具潜力的可开采资源可成为长期的可供油源。确定油母含量是油页岩开采评价和经济地描绘可开采层段的主要任务之一。由于GreenRiver地层含有淡水,所以根据电阻率测井曲线确定油母含量变得复杂了。介电频散测井提供了以地层水和其它地层成分(矿产和油母)的介电常数的差异为基础的另外一种法。介电测井可以提供含水孔隙度和地层水矿化度,综合其它测井方法,能够评价地层油母含量。GreenRiver浅层沉积含有淡水,可能与含淡水的近地表相连,这些淡水可作为饮用水。要求经营者保护淡水水层以免受较深地层采油气或盐水的污染。为了保护淡水资源,有必要识别井眼穿过的淡水地层,然后监测矿化度和油气含量。介电测井可完成这些任务,它是快速可靠的环境监测方法。用新一代介电频散测井仪测量GreenRiver地层,该仪器可提供多种频率下的地层介电常数和电导率。准确解释介电测量结果需要输入岩石骨架介电常数。本文给出了干燥岩石和粉末的介电常数实验室测量方法,该方法可用于对GreenRiver地层岩样的分析(根据原文这样翻译,但好像不符合逻辑)。对同一组样品,我们也得到了其矿物和化学特性以及模拟核测井响应。对岩石骨架介电常数和测井参数之间的相关性进行了分析对比。然后,利用介电测井和其它测井对地层水含量、地层矿化度和油母含量给出解释,并且与一口邻井的岩心测量结果做比较。

One of the central problems of strength theory is the investigation of stress -strain situation near the irregular points in the elastic body. The statical problems take us the equations of elliptic type. This problem was practically settled in the investigations of v. Mazja, B. Plamenevski, J. Rice et al. At another stage the problem of dynamical loading leads us to the equations of hyperbolic type. This problem is more difficult in mathematical aspect. It's reduced to formal elliptic equations with the help of Fourier transform [1-2] and procedure of asymptotic series construction ne ar corner point is conducted. The asymptotic series for required solution are constructed by inverse Fourier transformation. The error of partial sums is estimated. The properties of solution and its applicability for fracture problems [3-4] are discussed.
