A Simple Approach to the Fabrication of Graphene-Carbon Nanotube Hybrid Films on Copper Substrate by Chemical Vapor Deposition

In this study,graphene-carbon nanotube（CNT） hybrid films were directly synthesized on polycrystalline copper（Cu） substrates by thermal chemical vapor deposition（CVD） *** films were synthesized on Cu substrate at 1000 ℃ in mixture of gases:argon（Ar）,hydrogen（H2）,and methane（CH4）.Then,carbon nanotubes（CNTs） were grown uniformly on the surface of graphene/Cu films at 750 ℃ in mixture of Ar,*** acetylene（C2H2） *** salt FeCl3solution deposited onto the surface of graphene/Cu substrate by spin coating method was used as precursor for the growth of the *** density and quality of the CNTs on the surface of graphene/Cu films can be controlled by varying the concentration of FeCl3salt catalyst.

A three-dimensional linear instability analysis of thermocapillary convection in a fluid-porous double layer system, imposed by a horizontal temperature gradient, is performed. The basic motion of fluid is the surface-tension-driven return flow, and the movement of fluid in the porous layer is governed by Darcy＇s law. The slippery effect of velocity at the fluid-porous interface has been taken into account, and the influence of this velocity slippage on the instability characteristic of the system is emphasized. The new behavior of the thermocapillary convection instability has been found and discussed through the figures of the spectrum.

Abnormal bone metabolism and dysfunction of the calcium-parathyroid hormone-vitamin D axis have been reported in patients with viral hepatitis. Some studies suggested a relationship between vitamin D and viral hepatitis. Genetic studies have provided an opportunity to identify the proteins that link vitamin D to the pathology of viral hepatitis (i.e., the major histocompatibility complex class Ⅱ molecules, the vitamin D receptor, cytochrome P 450 , the renin-angiotensin system, apolipoprotein E, liver X receptor, toll-like receptor, and the proteins regulated by the Sp1 promoter gene). Vitamin D also exerts its effects on viral hepatitis via non-genomic factors, i.e., matrix metalloproteinase, endothelial vascular growth factor, prostaglandins, cyclooxygenase-2, and oxidative stress. In conclusion, vitamin D could have a beneficial role in viral hepatitis. Calcitriol is best used for viral hepatitis because it is the active form of the vitamin D 3 metabolite.

Objective:To investigate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Solanum procumbens on complete Freund’s adjuvantinduced arthritis rat ***:We isolated and identified five compounds in the ethanolsoluble Solanum procumbens extract(SP)with anti-inflammatory effects,including ursolic acid,β-sitosterol,hexadecanoic acid,cisvaccenic acid,and vanillic ***,we investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of SP on rheumatoid arthritis symptoms,including paw volumes,local temperatures,withdrawal latency,and mechanical withdrawal threshold at the hind paw and white blood cell(WBC)number from complete Freund’s adjuvant-induced arthritis rat ***:We have successfully established a complete Freund’s adjuvant-induced arthritis rat model at a low dose(1 mg/mL).SP extract significantly reduced paw volumes(P<0.05),prolonged withdrawal latencies(P<0.05),decreased local temperature,and increased the mechanical withdrawal threshold(P<0.05),but only SP extract at the dose of 300 mg/kg significantly decreased WBC ***:SP extract could be a potential medication candidate with anti-inflammatory effects for arthritis,but it requires further investigation into the mechanism of the SP and its effectiveness on other models as well as clinical trials.

Objective:To evaluate the effects of ethanol extract from Ardisia gigantifolia leaves on cell proliferation and cancer stem cell(CSC)number in gastric ***:The inhibitory effect of Ardisia gigantifolia extract on the proliferation of MKN45 and MKN74 gastric cancer cells was assessed using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazole-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide ***-adherent culture(3D)model was used to evaluate the effect of the extract on tumorsphere size and ***,the expression of CD44,ALDH,and p21 was determined by immunofluorescence *** cytometric analysis was performed to evaluate cell cycle arrest and the expression of gastric CSC markers CD44 and ***-time PCR analysis was also carried out to assess the effect of the extract on the expression of cell cycle-regulated ***:Ardisia gigantifolia extract effectively inhibited cell proliferation with an IC_(50)of 55.7μg/m L in MKN45 cells and 123.6μg/m L in MKN74 *** extract also arrested cell cycle in the G_(0)/G_(1)phase as well as significantly reduced the size and number of *** markedly increased expression of p21 was observed at both m RNA and protein levels in the extract-treated adherent cells and *** addition,Ardisia gigantifolia extract significantly reduced the number of CD44-and/or ALDH-expressing gastric ***:The development of gastric CSC can be inhibited by the ethanol extract of Ardisia gigantifolia.

In image processing, one of the most important steps is image segmentation. The objects in remote sensing images often have to be detected in order toperform next steps in image processing. Remote sensing images usually havelarge size and various spatial resolutions. Thus, detecting objects in remote sensing images is very complicated. In this paper, we develop a model to detectobjects in remote sensing images based on the combination of picture fuzzy clustering and MapReduce method (denoted as MPFC). Firstly, picture fuzzy clustering is applied to segment the input images. Then, MapReduce is used to reducethe runtime with the guarantee of quality. To convert data for MapReduce processing, two new procedures are introduced, including Map_PFC and Reduce_*** formal representation and details of two these procedures are presented in thispaper. The experiments on satellite image and remote sensing image datasets aregiven to evaluate proposed model. Validity indices and time consuming are usedto compare proposed model to picture fuzzy clustering model. The values ofvalidity indices show that picture fuzzy clustering integrated to MapReduce getsbetter quality of segmentation than using picture fuzzy clustering only. Moreover,on two selected image datasets, the run time of MPFC model is much less thanthat of picture fuzzy clustering.

this study assessed the quality and biological activity of Vietnamese single-bulb black garlic(SBG)by investigating the effect of different temperatures(60,65,70,and 75℃)on physicochemical properties during the heat treatment *** optimal treating conditions accounted for the highest concentration of antioxidants were 70℃for 42 *** SBG.70 had a higher content of reducing sugar,protein,flavonoid,and polyphenol in comparison with the white garlic and the *** activity of single-bulb white garlic and SBG were measured via DPPH,phosphomolybdenum,and H2O2 radicals,as well as a reduction *** antimicrobial activity was assessed by the multi-concentration dilution method;the sample treated at 70℃displayed the strongest activity against four microbial strains with MIC values for ***,***,***,and *** of 64,128,128,and 64μg/mL,***,only two SBG samples aged at 70℃and 75℃were bacteriostatic to *** with MIC values of 32 and 64μg/mL,respectively.
