AIM:To determine the dry eye(DE)rate and its relationship with disease stage in patients with primary ***:A cross-sectional study included 432 patients with primary hypertension(with an equal number of patients in each group:144 in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ hypertension)and 144 healthy subjects as a control *** Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)and Schirmer Ⅰ test without anesthetics were conducted on all 576 *** with OSDI scoreshan in the control group(41.7%versus 18.8%;Phan those without DE,P<*** age,a long duration of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma creatinine,and CRP-hs levels were independent factors associated with DE in primary hypertension patients,P<***:DE is a common disorder associated with advanced age,a long duration of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma CRP-hs,and creatinine levels in patients with primary hypertension.

BACKGROUND Twin reversed arterial perfusion(TRAP) sequence is an extremely rare congenital anomaly in monochorionic(MC) *** condition is characterized by a malformed fetus(acardiac twin) without cardiac activities being perfused by a structurally normal one(pump twin) via an artery-to-artery anastomosis in a reverse *** SUMMARY We described the first case of TRAP to receive laser surgery in *** 26-wk pregnancy was originally misdiagnosed in another hospital as MC twins with single intrauterine fetal *** admission to our center,the diagnosis was amended to a 26-wk TRAP sequence stage *** acardiac twin was 7.5 cm at the longest length,the ratio of the weight of the acardiac twin to the weight of the pump twin was more than 90%,the pump twin showed fetal distress with absent diastolic flow in umbilical artery of pump twin,and the peak systolic velocity in the middle cerebral artery = 1.6 Mo *** performed emergency laser photocoagulation of the acardiac twin’s umbilical *** surgery,we successfully maintained the pregnancy for 8 wk and ended it electively by cesarean section at 34 wk of gestation due to rupture of *** TRAP should be appropriately diagnosed and treated early to avoid complications of the pump *** laser photocoagulation is a new and effective treatment for this condition.

Isolation and Selection of Beneficial Microorganism Used for Peanut Growing in Sandy Soil of Binhdinh Province, Vietnam

With the aim to apply the beneficial microorganisms to peanut （groundnut （Arachis hypogaea）） growing in sandy soil of Binhdinh province in Vietnam, the paper was conducted to study the isolation, selection of N-fixing, phosphate, potassium solubilizing and slime producing microorganism from sandy soil and peanut root samples, and evaluate the capability of selected isolates to adapt to the sandy soil condition. The isolation and selection of beneficial microbes were based on the biological activity of isolates, which was determined by acetylene reduction assay and nodulation on the peanut for Rhizobium spp., by testing the capability to solubilize Ca3（PO4）2 or fenspat in the growth medium for phosphate, potassium solubilizing microbes, and by measurement of the viscosity of hansen medium for slime producing microorganism. All isolates were evaluated for the effectiveness on the nutrition uptake and growth of peanut by carrying out at the greenhouse and field experiments. To evaluate the adaptation of selected isolates to the sandy soil condition, the experiments were carried out in the laboratory to determine the microbial density in suitable medium, containing different NaCI concentrations or with different pH or at different temperatures. The results showed that rhizobial strain RA18 had an N-fixing activity value of 3,458 ＋ 10.95 nmol C2H2/plant and can supply 30% of N required for peanut. The bacterial strain P 1107 is able to solubilize phosphate and can increase phosphorus uptake by 30% in peanut. Further, inoculation of peanut with the bacterial strain S3.1 can save 30% required mineral potassium, and the Lipomyces strain PT5.1 can produce the slime, which can provide the sandy soil to keep moisture for 15 d longer than the control without the inoculation. All selected isolates are able to grow at temperatures from 20 ℃ to 35 ℃, pH from 4.5 to 6.0 and the salinity of 0.2%o-0.6%o NaCI, and can well adapt to the sandy soil conditions.

Investigating natural-inspired applications is a perennially appealing subject for scientists. The current increase in the speed of natural-origin structure growth may be linked to their superior mechanical properties and environmental resilience. Biological composite structures with helicoidal schemes and designs have remarkable capacities to absorb impact energy and withstand damage. However, there is a dearth of extensive study on the influence of fiber redirection and reorientation inside the matrix of a helicoid structure on its mechanical performance and reactivity. The present study aimed to explore the static and transient responses of a bio-inspired helicoid laminated composite(B-iHLC) shell under the influence of an explosive load using an isomorphic method. The structural integrity of the shell is maintained by a viscoelastic basis known as the Pasternak foundation, which encompasses two coefficients of stiffness and one coefficient of damping. The equilibrium equations governing shell dynamics are obtained by using hamilton's principle and including the modified first-order shear theory,therefore obviating the need to employ a shear correction factor. The paper's model and approach are validated by doing numerical comparisons with respected publications. The findings of this study may be used in the construction of military and civilian infrastructure in situations when the structure is subjected to severe stresses that might potentially result in catastrophic collapse. The findings of this paper serve as the foundation for several other issues, including geometric optimization and the dynamic response of similar mechanical structures.

Lithium aluminate (LiAlO2) powder was synthesized by sol-gel with EDTA method. The resultant powders were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) techniques. In addition, several thermoluminescence properties of synthesized LiAlO2 powder were reported. The results from X-ray diffraction (XRD), the powder prepared by sol-gel with EDTA method showed pure γ-phase when it was calcined at >900°C. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results show that the size of the lithium aluminate particles depended strongly on calcination temperature. The linearity is observed of synthesized LiAlO2 powder by sol-gel with EDTA with regression coefficient (R2) is 0.9971.

This work uses isogeometric analysis(IGA),which is based on nonlocal hypothesis and higher-order shear beam hypothesis,to investigate the static bending and free oscillation of a magneto-electro-elastic functionally graded(MEE-FG)nanobeam subject to elastic boundary constraints(BCs).The magneto-electric boundary condition and the Maxwell equation are used to calculate the variation of electric and magnetic potentials along the thickness direction of the *** study is innovative since it does not use the conventional boundary ***,an elastic system of straight and torsion springs with controllable stiffness is used to support nanobeams’beginning and end positions,creating customizable *** governing equations of motion of nanobeams are established by applying hamilton’s principle and IGA is used to determine deflections and natural frequency *** studies were performed to evaluate the convergence and accuracy of the proposed *** from this,the impact of the input parameters on the static bending and free oscillation of the MEE-FG nanobeam is examined in *** findings could be valuable for analyzing and designing innovative structures constructed of functionally graded MEE materials.

Our study aimed to compare the essential oil(EO)concentration and composition of several Apiaceae species growing in the Northern region of *** yields of EOs from materials ranged from 0.03%(root EO of Angelica acutiloba and aerial parts EO of Heracleum bivittatum)-0.27%(leaf EO of Xyloselinum vietnamense).Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)allowed the identiﬁcation of 74 components in the EOs of six Apiaceae species,making up 94.4%–100.0%of the *** EO from Angelica acutiloba,(Z)-ligustilide accounted for an extremely large proportion(94.9%).EO of Angelica pubescens was dominated by six character-istic components includingα-pinene(21.5%),β-phellandrene(18.1%),p-cymene(12.2%),3-methylnonane(8.7%),o-cymene(8.1%),and D-sylvestrene(6.2%).The EO from Cryptotaenia japonica was characterized by high amounts ofα-selinene(48.7%),β-selinene(23.7%),and trans-β-farnesene(5.4%).The EOs from leaves and stems of Xyloselinum vietnamense were characterized by high concentrations of sabinene(69.8%and 33.8%),4-terpineol(8.7%and 7.4%)andβ-pinene(4.0%and 6.5%)while EOs from aerial parts and root of Xylo-selinum leonidii comprise four characteristic monoterpenes includingα-pinene(28.2%and 52.8%),β-pinene(7.9%and 10.3%),β-phellandrene(7.6%and 15.3%),and sabinene(3.0%and 4.1%).Additionally,cryptone is also one of the major components in the EO of Xyloselinum leonidii(13.2%in the aerial parts oil and 2.8%in the root oil).In the EOs isolated from the aerial parts and root of Heracleum bivittatum,α-pinene(22.5%and 70.2%)andβ-pinene(43.2%and 20.0%)were the predominant *** appeared in the EO from aerial parts of Heracleum bivittatum with a relatively high concentration(13.5%)while bornyl acetate(5.1%)was also one of the main components in the EO from its aerial parts but was not detected in other Apiaceae species in the present *** databases help identify and control the quality of plant material studied from the family Apiaceae growing in Vietnam.

Thoron （Rn-220） is an invisible, odorless radioactive gas and nine times heavier than air. Purpose of project is to set up procedure to determine Rn-220 concentration which has been carried out in laboratory using Solid State Nuclear Track Detector （SSNTD） based passive detector technique. In this study, technical procedure has been applied in Karlsruhe diffusion chamber and LR-115, Type II strippable （Kodak Pathe, France） detector. The results have investigated how LR-115 work for Rn-220 by using Monazite ore to simultaneously measure Rn-222 and Rn-220. To carry out experiment, Karlsruhe diffusion chamber is used to with and without Poly-Ethylene （PE） membrane. Karlsruhe diffusion chamber with PE membrane only detect Rn-222, without PE membrane detect total Rn-222 and Rn-220. Precision evaluation by duplicate measure at 8 cm detector-source distance with relative standard deviation is less than 2.54%. Testing technical procedure, detectors have been sent to National Institute of Radiological Science （NIRS） for Rn-220 calibration exposure. After detectors have been calibration exposure at NIRS, it carried out all the following steps of procedure which set up at laboratory in 1NST, Vietnam. Finally, calibration factor calculated is 0.21 （tracks-cm2/Bq·m3·h） and constructed curve between integrated Tn-220 concentration and tracks density with factor R2 = 0.975.

上世纪九十年代起,随着经济效益的进一步提升,企业社会责任开始在世界范围内得到重视。与此同时,越南也紧跟世界经济潮流,开始愈加关注企业社会责任。越南通过不同手段促进企业履行社会责任,但碍于各种因素均未取得显著成效。台湾味丹公司驻越南分公司违规排放污水污染河流,Pouyuen公司为了满足生产经营需要无视防疫要求等案例,均体现出目前越南企业在履行社会责任方面的欠缺。在越南各类企业中,中小企业的重要性开始逐渐凸显,对于社会经济发展作用也愈发突出。本文以胡志明市中小企业为主要研究目标,对于其履行社会责任问题展开研究,分析胡志明市履行社会责任现状,并结合其驱动因素展开模型分析,并根据分析结果提出相应的措施加以改善。本文基于现有研究梳理胡志明市中小企业社会责任以及驱动因素主要内容,并结合假设的提出与模型的建立,通过问卷方式对于假设变量进行统计分析,结合分析结果发现:胡志明市中小企业企业履行社会责任存在不足,主要表现为企业承担不足、维护职工权益不到位等。引起上述问题的原因在于地方政府对于企业监管力度不足,企业并未建立相应理念以及员工缺乏维权意识等,并据此提出建议:胡志明市中小企业履行社会责任不仅需要发挥政府的监督与约束作用,同时还需提升社会组织监督作用,进而提高当地中小企业的履责积极性。本文立足于当前胡志明市中小企业对于社会责任的履行状况,对于其存在的问题加以改善,能够提供给更多的越南中小企业借鉴与参考,帮助其更好的履行社会责任。
