Background:Strongyloidiasis,a neglected disease caused by intestinal nematodes of the genus,is endemic to tropical and subtropical areas such as *** methods only identify the genus,while DnA-molecular techniques are susceptible in Strongyloides *** study aims to determine the prevalence of dominant Strongyloides species among the population in Duc Hoa district,Long An,***:A cross-sectional study used 1190 stool specimens collected from July 2017 to november *** samples were transported within 2 h,stored at 2-8℃,and processed within 48 h for microscopy smear and culture at the Laboratory of Medical Parasitology,Pham ngoc Thach University of Medicine(PnT).Then all positive samples with the above 2 methods were verified by real-time PCR ***-time PCR amplification was conducted at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology,***:Direct microscopy and modified Harada-Mori culture detected Strongyloides *** in 79/1190 sam-ples(6.6%).About 94.2%of the DnA samples were Strongyloides stercoralis,2.9%were co-infections with Strongy-loides ratti and ***,and 2.9%were patients with *** identity of 12/14 sequences was confirmed as *** with a high level of similarity(91.3%-100%)and over 98%for ***:DnA-molecular techniques and sequence analysis are highly suitable for identifying Strongyloides species isolated from stool *** is remarkable evidence of the presence of zoonosis *** disease in human,not just the known *** is likely to result in a certain proportion of people being infected by this animal-borne infectious pathogen.

Prediction of Shear Bond Strength of Asphalt Concrete Pavement Using Machine Learning Models and Grid Search Optimization Technique

Determination of Shear Bond strength(SBS)at interlayer of double-layer asphalt concrete is crucial in flexible pavement *** study used three Machine Learning(ML)models,including K-nearest neighbors(Knn),Extra Trees(ET),and Light Gradient Boosting Machine(LGBM),to predict SBS based on easily determinable input ***,the Grid Search technique was employed for hyper-parameter tuning of the ML models,and cross-validation and learning curve analysis were used for training the *** models were built on a database of 240 experimental results and three input variables:temperature,normal pressure,and tack coat *** validation was performed using three statistical criteria:the coefficient of determination(R2),the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE),and the mean absolute error(MAE).Additionally,SHAP analysis was also used to validate the importance of the input variables in the prediction of the *** show that these models accurately predict SBS,with LGBM providing outstanding ***(Shapley Additive explanation)analysis for LGBM indicates that temperature is the most influential factor on ***,the proposed ML models can quickly and accurately predict SBS between two layers of asphalt concrete,serving practical applications in flexible pavement structure design.

negative index materials are artificial structures whose refractive index has negative value over some frequency range. These materials were first investigated theoretically by Veselago in 1946 and were confirmed experimentally by Shelby, Smith, and Schultz in2001. Mathematically, the study of negative index materials faces two difficulties. Firstly,the equations describing the phenomenon have sign changing coefficients, hence the ellipticity and the compactness are lost in general. Secondly, the localized resonance, i.e.,the field explodes in some regions and remains bounded in some others as the loss goes to 0, might appear. In this survey, the author discusses recent mathematics progress in understanding properties of negative index materials and their applications. The topics are reflecting complementary media, superlensing and cloaking by using complementary media, cloaking a source via anomalous localized resonance, the limiting absorption principle and the well-posedness of the Helmholtz equation with sign changing coefficients.

Adaptive Relaying Protocol for Decode and Forward Full-Duplex System over Rician Fading Channel: System Performance Analysis

In this paper, the system performance of a decode-and-forward(DF) full-duplex(FD) adaptive relaying network over the Rician fading environment is proposed, analyzed and demonstrated. In the first stage, the system is presented with the energy harvesting and information transmission processes. After that, the analytical expressions of the achievable throughput, the outage probability, and symbol error ratio(SER) were proposed, analyzed and demonstrated. Finally, the analytical results are also demonstrated by Monte-Carlo simulation in comparison with the closed-form expressions in the influence of the key system parameters. The results show that the analytical and simulated results match for all possible parameter values.

Urban humans and biodiversity-related concepts are interacting with each other in many negative and positive *** biodiversity provides a wide array of provision and cultural-ecological services to urban residents,but it is being overexploited to the point of *** crisis is largely driven by the expanding illegal wildlife trade in developing countries with a high urbanization rate and biodiversity level like *** supply-side measures are ineffective in reducing biodiversity loss,researchers have suggested demandside measures as supplements,such as social marketing campaigns and law enforcement in urban ***,urban residents are also potential visitors to urban public parks and national parks,which helps generate finance for biodiversity preservation and conservation in those *** how urban residents’perceptions towards biodiversity and biodiversity-related behaviors can help improve the effectiveness of conservation efforts and sustainable urban ***,this article presents a data set of 535 urban residents’wildlife consumption behaviors,multifaceted perceptions and interactions with biodiversity-related concepts,and nature-based recreation *** data set is constructed with six major categories:1)wildlife product consumption,2)general biodiversity perceptions,3)biodiversity at home and neighborhood,4)public park visitation and motivations,5)national park visitation and motivations,and 6)socio-demographic *** resources are expected to support researchers in enriching the lax literature regarding the role of urban residents in biodiversity conservation and preservation,and help policymakers to find insights for building up an"eco-surplus culture"among urban residents through effective public communication and policymaking.

Properties of poly（1-naphthylamine）/Fe3O4 composites and arsenic adsorption capacity in wastewater

The research results of poly（1-naphthylamine）lFe3O4 （PnA/Fe3O4） nanocomposites synthesized by a chemical method for As（Ⅲ） wastewater treatment are presented in this paper. XRD patterns and TEM images showed that the Fe3O4 grain size varied from 13 to 20 nm. The results of Raman spectral analysis showed that PnA participated in part of the PnA/Fe3O4 composite samples. The grain size of PnA/Fe3O4 composite samples is about 25-30 nm measured by SEM. The results of vibrating sample magnetometer measurements at room temperature showed that the saturation magnetic moment of PnA/Fe3O4 samples decreased from 63.13 to 43.43 emu/g, while the PnA concentration increased from 5% to 15%. The nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm of samples at 77 K at a relative pressure PIPo of about 1 was studied in order to investigate the surface and porous structure of nanoparticles by the BET method. Although the saturation magnetic moments of samples decreased with the polymer concentration increase, the arsenic adsorption capacity of the PnA/Fe3O4 sample with the PnA concentration of 5% is better than that of Fe3O4 in a solution with pH = 7. In the solution with pH 〉 14, the arsenic adsorption of magnetic nanoparticles is insignificant.

Projection on precipitation frequency of different intensities and precipitation amount in the Lancang-Mekong River basin in the 21st century

Homogenization is a promising approach to capture the behavior of complex structures like corrugated panels. It enables us to replace high-cost shell models with stiffness-equivalent orthotropic plate alternatives. Many homogenization models for corrugated panels of different shapes have been proposed. However, there is a lack of investigations for verifying their accuracy and reliability. In addition, in the recent trend of development of smoothed finite element methods, the cell-based smoothed three-node Mindlin plate element (CS-MIn3) based on the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) has been proposed and successfully applied to many analyses of plate and shell structures. Thus, this paper further extends the CS-MIn3 by integrating itself with homogenization models to give homogenization methods. In these methods, the equivalent extensional, bending, and transverse shear stiftriess components which constitute the equivalent orthotropic plate models are represented in explicit analytical expressions. Using the results of AnSYS and ABAQUS shell simulations as references, some numerical examples are conducted to verify the accuracy and reliability of the homogenization methods for static analyses of trapezoidally and sinusoidally corrugated panels.

A combination of damage locating vector method （DLV） and differential evolution algorithm （DE） for structural damage assessment

In this study, a two-stage method is presented for identifying multiple damage scenarios. In the first stage, the damage locating vector （DLV） method using normalized cumulative energy （nce） is employed for damage localization in structures. In the second stage, the differential evolution algorithm （DE） is used for damage severity of the structures. In addition, in the second stage, a modification of an available objective function is made for handing the issue of symmetric structures. To verify the effectiveness of the present technique, numerical examples of a 72-bar space truss and a one-span steel portal frame are considered. In addition, the effect of noise on the performance of the identification results is also investigated. The numerical results show that the proposed combination gives good assessment of damage location and extent for multiple structural damage cases.
