In thiswork,the perovskite LaZnO_(3) was synthesized via sol-gel method and applied for photocatalytic treatment of sulfamethizole(SMZ)antibiotics under visible light *** was almost completely degraded(99.2%±0.3%)within 4 hr by photocatalyst LaZnO3 at the optimal dosage of 1.1 g/L,with amineralization proportion of 58.7%±0.4%.The efficient performance of LaZnO_(3) can be attributed to itswide-range light absorption and the appropriate energy band edge levels,which facilitate the formation of active agents such as·O_(2)^(−),h^(+),and·*** integration of RP-HPLC/Q-TOF-MS and DFT-based computational techniques revealed three degradation pathways of SMZ,which were initiated by the deamination reaction at the aniline ring,the breakdown of the sulfonamidemoieties,and a process known as Smile-type rearrangement and SO2 *** toxicity of SMZ and the intermediateswere analyzed by quantitative structure activity relationship(QSAR),indicating the effectiveness of LaZnO_(3)-based photocatalysis in preventing secondary pollution of the intermediates to the ecosystem during the degradation *** visible-light-activated photocatalyst LaZnO_(3) exhibited efficient performance in the occurrence of inorganic anions and maintained high durability across multiple recycling tests,making it a promising candidate for practical antibiotic treatment.

Spiritual Forests—A Nature Conservation Model of Ethnic Minority Communities in Central Viet Nam

This paper aims to analyze and evaluate a model of forest conservation and management of ethnic minority (or indigenous) people in central Vietnam, often referred to as the spiritual forest. These forests, called sacred forest or ghost forests by the ethnic minority people in Thua Thien Hue province, have existed for a long time among forest residents. However, they have recently declined, both in quality and quantity, due to various factors, including changes in society, economy, environment, and perception, among other reasons. Based on research conducted in A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province with household interviews, group discussions, and field surveys, we find that spiritual forest retains religious and human significance. They are also often among the last remaining natural forests left due to deforestation by human activities. The research results indicate challenges that conservation of spiritual forest may face, while giving recommendations derived from communities for sustainable forest development and conservation in the region.

Effectiveness and safety of electroacupuncture analgesia in controlling intraoperative pain and hemodynamics during total thyroidectomy:A randomized controlled trial

Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of electroacupuncture in conjunction with additional medications in providing analgesia and stabilizing hemodynamic parameters during total ***:This randomized controlled trial included 100 patients who underwent a total thyroidectomy between October 2022 and October 2023 at the Vietnam National Hospital of *** patients were randomized into two *** electroacupuncture analgesia(EA)group received EA stimulation at five acupuncture points:Hegu(LI 4),Neiguan(PC 6),Shuitu(ST 10),Quepen(ST 12),and Yifeng(SJ 17),while the control group received a bilateral superficial cervical plexus *** outcomes included the level of analgesia and perioperative vital signs in both ***,pain thresholds and serum b-endorphin levels were measured before and after electroacupuncture in the EA ***:Complete analgesia(Level A)was attained in 86%and 76%of the patients in the EA and control groups,respectively,with no significant difference between the two groups(P¼1.00).In the EA group,the mean pain threshold after receiving EA doubled(648.7(77.4)g/s vs.305.3(45.3)g/s,Pcupuncture points,LI 4,PC 6,ST 10,ST 12,and SJ 17,was well tolerated and effectively maintained a suitable level of analgesia and hemodynamic stability during total thyroidectomy.

Objective:To determine the concentration and rate of decay of maternal IgG antibodies against measles prevalence in infants of vaccinated or naturally infected mothers and study initial measles immunization occurs in nine-month-old ***:In total,401 pregnant women and the same number of their subsequent newborns were recruited in the Bavi district of Hanoi in 2016-2017;they were divided into two groups:Older women(born before 1985,n=201)and younger women(born after 1990,n=200).Samples were collected at five time-points;week 36 of pregnancy,birth(cord),and 3,6,and 9 months after ***-specific IgG antibody levels were ***:In total,77.06% of the 401 pregnant women were seropositive for measles-specific IgG antibodies.A significantly greater proportion of mothers aged 30 and older(88.06%)and their newborn(93.53%)were seropositive compared to the mothers aged 25 and younger(66.00%),and their newborn(72.00%)(P<0.001).The infants of older mothers had significantly higher geometric mean titres(GMT)of measles IgG antibodies than the infants of younger mothers(P<0.001)at all time-points of the study *** proportion of measles IgG antibodies together with GMT decreased from 82.97%(506.96)at the age of three months to 23.19%(45.22)at the age of nine ***:This study provides a profile of maternal antibodies against measles in Vietnamese infants and investigates the early susceptibility to measles in both the infants of vaccinated mothers and mothers with naturally acquired *** data suggest that determining the appropriate age for measles vaccination is paramount for the elimination of measles in Vietnam.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness of cycling in combination with electroacupuncture in treatment of poststroke hemiplegia patients at National Hospital of Acupuncture,***:The study was designed as a single-centre,outcome-assessor-blinded parallel randomised controlled trial with 120 post-stroke hemiplegia patients randomly assigned into two groups:electroacupuncture plus cycling(CT group) and electroacupuncture(AT group).Patients were assessed before and after the treatment(using muscle grading,modified Rankin,Barthel,Orgorozo scores and electromyography).Statistical Man–Whitney U test,and Fisher’s exact tests were used to compare between CT and AT ***:The results reported statistically significant improvement in motor function in patients suffering from hemiplegia following ischemic stroke in both CT and AT *** in CT group experienced a greater improvement compared to those in AT group including better muscle contraction(increased frequency and amplitude of electromyography and increased muscle grading scale);increased recovery(Orgogozo scale),increased independency(Barthel scale) and decreased disability(Modified Rankin scale)(P cupuncture.

BACKGROUND Twin reversed arterial perfusion(TRAP) sequence is an extremely rare congenital anomaly in monochorionic(MC) *** condition is characterized by a malformed fetus(acardiac twin) without cardiac activities being perfused by a structurally normal one(pump twin) via an artery-to-artery anastomosis in a reverse *** SUMMARY We described the first case of TRAP to receive laser surgery in *** 26-wk pregnancy was originally misdiagnosed in another hospital as MC twins with single intrauterine fetal *** admission to our center,the diagnosis was amended to a 26-wk TRAP sequence stage *** acardiac twin was 7.5 cm at the longest length,the ratio of the weight of the acardiac twin to the weight of the pump twin was more than 90%,the pump twin showed fetal distress with absent diastolic flow in umbilical artery of pump twin,and the peak systolic velocity in the middle cerebral artery = 1.6 Mo *** performed emergency laser photocoagulation of the acardiac twin’s umbilical *** surgery,we successfully maintained the pregnancy for 8 wk and ended it electively by cesarean section at 34 wk of gestation due to rupture of *** TRAP should be appropriately diagnosed and treated early to avoid complications of the pump *** laser photocoagulation is a new and effective treatment for this condition.

目的观察匹多莫德对难治性过敏性鼻炎的治疗作用。方法研究以2019年8月至2020年8月期间于大连医科大学附属第一医院耳鼻喉科门诊诊断难治性过敏性鼻炎的68名患者为研究对象。患者随机分为两组,实验组和对照组。所有患者在治疗前均填写症状评分问卷,并进行鼻内窥镜检查,对鼻甲肿胀程度和鼻部分泌物情况进行评分。对照组患者给予口服抗组胺药和鼻喷布地奈德治疗;实验组患者在常规治疗基础上额外给予匹多莫德40mg,日两次口服。对比两组治疗前、治疗后两周、治疗后四周鼻部症状评分和鼻内窥镜检查评分评估匹多莫德治疗难治性过敏性鼻炎的临床效果。两组间比较采用配对T检验和Winconxon符号秩检验。结果治疗前对照组鼻部症状评分在鼻塞、流涕、鼻部刺痒感和喷嚏的得分分别是3.31±0.693,3.25±0.672,3.44±0.716,和 3.19±0.53;实验组分别是 3.22±0.659,2.75±0.672,3.16±0.723和2.94±0.669。两组之间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。鼻内窥镜下下鼻甲肿胀和鼻分泌物量评分在对照组分别是1.81±0.397,和2.69±0.471,实验组分别是1.84±0.369和2.47±0.621,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。治疗后两周对照组鼻部症状评分在鼻塞、流涕、鼻部刺痒感和喷嚏的得分分别是 2.94±0.669,2.81±0.644,2.75±0.762,和 2.44±0.504。实验组鼻部症状评分分别是 1.13±0.751,1.19±0.965,1.03±0.822,和 1.03±0.782。实验组较对照组在上述症状分别多下降1.81±0.082(61.56%),1.62±0.321(57.65%),1.72±0.06(62.54%),和1.41±0.278(57.78%),两组间比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。对照组鼻内窥镜下下鼻甲肿胀和鼻分泌物量评分分别是1.44±0.504和2.13±0.609;实验组分别是0.53±0.507和0.91±0.777,实验组下鼻甲肿胀和鼻内分泌物评分比对照组分别降低0.91±0.003(63.19%)和1.22±0.168(57.27%),两组对比差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗4周后对照组鼻塞、流涕、鼻部刺痒感和喷嚏的症状评分是0.47±0.507,0.50±0.508,0.44±0.564,和0.34 ± 0.483。实验组症状改善更多,比对照组减低1.84±0.186(79.65%),1.44±0.161(74.22%),1.69±0.143(79.34%),和 1.41±0.189(80.57%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。对照组鼻内窥镜评分分别是1.19±.644和2.00±0.508,实验组评分分别为0.06±0.246和0.19±0.397,两组对比,实验组下鼻甲肿胀和鼻内分泌物评分比对照组分别降低1.13±0.398(94.95%)和1.81±0.111(90.5%)(P<0.05)。结论匹多莫德可以提高机体免疫力,辅助抗组胺药和鼻喷激素应用可以快速控制难治性过敏性鼻炎的临床症状和体征。
