BACKGROUND Twin reversed arterial perfusion(TRAP) sequence is an extremely rare congenital anomaly in monochorionic(MC) *** condition is characterized by a malformed fetus(acardiac twin) without cardiac activities being perfused by a structurally normal one(pump twin) via an artery-to-artery anastomosis in a reverse *** SUMMARY We described the first case of TRAP to receive laser surgery in *** 26-wk pregnancy was originally misdiagnosed in another hospital as MC twins with single intrauterine fetal *** admission to our center,the diagnosis was amended to a 26-wk TRAP sequence stage *** acardiac twin was 7.5 cm at the longest length,the ratio of the weight of the acardiac twin to the weight of the pump twin was more than 90%,the pump twin showed fetal distress with absent diastolic flow in umbilical artery of pump twin,and the peak systolic velocity in the middle cerebral artery = 1.6 Mo *** performed emergency laser photocoagulation of the acardiac twin’s umbilical *** surgery,we successfully maintained the pregnancy for 8 wk and ended it electively by cesarean section at 34 wk of gestation due to rupture of *** TRAP should be appropriately diagnosed and treated early to avoid complications of the pump *** laser photocoagulation is a new and effective treatment for this condition.

In this paper,we consider a multi-crane scheduling problem in rail stations because their operations directly influence the throughput of the rail *** particular,the job is not only assigned to cranes but also the job sequencing is implemented for each crane to minimize the makespan of cranes.A dual cycle of cranes is used to minimize the number of working cycles of *** rail crane scheduling problems in this study are based on the movement of *** consider not only the gantry moves,but also the trolley moves as well as the rehandle cases are also included.A mathematical model of multi-crane scheduling is *** traditional and parallel simulated annealing(SA)are adapted to determine the optimal scheduling *** examples are conducted to evaluate the applicability of the proposed *** of the proposed parallel SA is done by comparing it to existing previous *** of numerical computation highlighted that the parallel SA algorithm outperformed the SA and gave better solutions than other considered algorithms.

This study was aimed to prepare landslide susceptibility maps for the Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand,India,using advanced ensemble models that combined Radial Basis Function Networks(RBFN)with three ensemble learning techniques:DAGGING(DG),MULTIBOOST(MB),and ADABOOST(AB).This combination resulted in three distinct ensemble models:DG-RBFN,MB-RBFN,and ***,a traditional weighted method,Information Value(IV),and a benchmark machine learning(ML)model,Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network(MLP),were employed for comparison and *** models were developed using ten landslide conditioning factors,which included slope,aspect,elevation,curvature,land cover,geomorphology,overburden depth,lithology,distance to rivers and distance to *** factors were instrumental in predicting the output variable,which was the probability of landslide *** analysis of the models’performance indicated that the DG-RBFN model,with an Area Under ROC Curve(AUC)of 0.931,outperformed the other *** AB-RBFN model achieved an AUC of 0.929,the MB-RBFN model had an AUC of 0.913,and the MLP model recorded an AUC of *** results suggest that the advanced ensemble ML model DG-RBFN was more accurate than traditional statistical model,single MLP model,and other ensemble models in preparing trustworthy landslide susceptibility maps,thereby enhancing land use planning and decision-making.

Prediction of Shear Bond Strength of Asphalt Concrete Pavement Using Machine Learning Models and Grid Search Optimization Technique

Determination of Shear Bond strength(SBS)at interlayer of double-layer asphalt concrete is crucial in flexible pavement *** study used three Machine Learning(ML)models,including K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN),Extra Trees(ET),and Light Gradient Boosting Machine(LGBM),to predict SBS based on easily determinable input ***,the Grid Search technique was employed for hyper-parameter tuning of the ML models,and cross-validation and learning curve analysis were used for training the *** models were built on a database of 240 experimental results and three input variables:temperature,normal pressure,and tack coat *** validation was performed using three statistical criteria:the coefficient of determination(R2),the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE),and the mean absolute error(MAE).Additionally,SHAP analysis was also used to validate the importance of the input variables in the prediction of the *** show that these models accurately predict SBS,with LGBM providing outstanding ***(Shapley Additive explanation)analysis for LGBM indicates that temperature is the most influential factor on ***,the proposed ML models can quickly and accurately predict SBS between two layers of asphalt concrete,serving practical applications in flexible pavement structure design.

Optimization of the in Vitro Fertilization System in Cỏ Goat Oocytes

This study aimed to optimization of the in vitro fertilization system in Cỏ goat oocytes to achieve the maximum possible blastocyst development rate. In Experiment 1, we assessed the effects of IVF media on the in vitro fertilization of Cỏ goat oocytes. There was no significant difference in the cleavage, blastocyst, or hatching rates between TALP-Fert and BO-IVF media. Experiment 2 was performed to assess the concentration of sperm in the in vitro fertilization of Cỏ goat oocytes. The matured Cỏ goat oocytes were fertilized in BO-IVF for four sperm concentrations: 5 × 105, 1 × 106, 2 × 106 and 3 × 106 sperm/ml. The blastocyst rate of 2 × 106 sperm/ml and 3 × 106 sperm/ml groups was higher than that of 5 × 105 sperm/ml and 1 × 106 sperm/ml groups (P Experiment 3 was performed to assess the IVF duration on the in vitro fertilization of Cỏ goat oocytes. The matured Cỏ goat oocytes were fertilized in BO-IVF with sperm concentration of 3 × 106 sperm/ml for 18, 20, 22 and 24 h. The cleavage, blastocyst, and hatching blastocyst rates of 18 h group were lower than those of 20, 22 and 24 h groups (P 0.05). In conclusion, the matured Cỏ goat oocytes were fertilized in BO-IVF with sperm concentration of 3 × 106 sperm/ml for 20 hours, which is suitable for the in vitro Cỏ goat embryo production.

A Novel Approach Based on Graph Attention Networks for Fruit Recognition

Counterfeit agricultural products pose a significant challenge to global food security and economic stability, necessitating advanced detection mechanisms to ensure authenticity and quality. To address this pressing issue, we introduce iGFruit, an innovative model designed to enhance the detection of counterfeit agricultural products by integrating multimodal data processing. Our approach utilizes both image and text data for comprehensive feature extraction, employing advanced backbone models such as Vision Transformer (ViT), Normalizer-Free Network (NFNet), and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT). These extracted features are fused and processed using a Graph Attention Network (GAT) to capture intricate relationships within the multimodal data. The resulting fused representation is subsequently classified to detect counterfeit products with high precision. We validate the effectiveness of iGFruit through extensive experiments on two datasets: the publicly available MIT-States dataset and the proprietary TLU-States dataset, achieving state-of-the-art performance on both benchmarks. Specifically, iGFruit demonstrates an improvement of over 3% in average accuracy compared to baseline models, all while maintaining computational efficiency during inference. This work underscores the necessity and innovativeness of integrating graph-based feature learning to tackle the critical issue of counterfeit agricultural product detection.
