Assessment by HPLC of the degradation behavior of acitretin under hydrolytic,oxidative,photolytic and thermal stress conditions

Acitretin is a photosensitive oral retinoid with very limited data available on its *** official HPLC method for acitretin determination was insufficient to resolve the degradation products generated during stability ***,an isocratic RP-HPLC-UV method was developed for the determination of acitretin in the presence of its related impurities and degradation *** chromatographic separation was achieved on a Thermo beta-basic column C18(100 mm4.6 mm,5μm)with mobile phase containing 0.3%(v/v)glacial acetic acid with acetonitrile(ACN)and isopropyl alcohol(IPA)in an isocratic ratio of 70:30 at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min with the eluent monitored at 360 *** method was validated for specificity,linearity,precision,accuracy and *** calibration plot was linear over the concentration range of 50-150μg/mL with a correlation coefficient(r2)of *** proposed method was used to investigate the degradation kinetics of acitretin under the different degradative *** degradation rate constant(K),half-life(t1/2),and t90 were *** of acitretin followed pseudo-first-order *** drug was found to be less stable under acidic and photolytic degradation conditions:the photolytic degradation constants for acitretin in sunlight and UV light were 0.002698%and 0.0008402%min1,*** LOD for acitretin and the known impurities were at a level below 0.02%.The method shows consistent recoveries for ACTR(99.8%-101.2%)and also for its known impurities(97.2-101.3%).The method was found to be accurate,precise,linear,specific,sensitive,rugged,robust,and useful for characterizing the stability of this chemical.

A stability-indicating liquid chromatographic method has been developed and validated for the determination of Diltiazem Hydrochloride(DTZ) together with its six related substances(Diltiazem sulphoxide,Imp-A,Imp-B,Imp-D,Imp-E,and Imp-F) in a laboratory mixture as well as in a novel tablet formulation developed *** chromatographic separation was achieved on a Hypersil BDS C18(150 mm*4.6 mm,5.0 μm) with mobile phase containing 0.2% Triethylamine(TEA) in gradient combination with acetonitrile(ACN) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and the eluent was monitored at 240 *** the developed method,the resolution of DTZ from any pair of impurities was found to be greater than *** test solution and related substances were found to be stable in the diluent for 24 *** developed method resolved the drug from its known impurities,stated above,and also from additional impurities generated when the formulation was subjected to forced degradation;the mass balance was found close to 99.9%.Regression analyses indicate correlation coefficient value greater than 0.997 for DTZ and its six known *** LOD for DTZ and the known impurities was at a level below 0.02%.The method has shown good,consistent recoveries for DTZ(99.8-101.2%) and also for its six known impurities(97.2-101.3%).The method was found to be accurate,precise,linear,specific,sensitive,rugged,robust,and stability-indicating.

Objective:To study the influence of methanolic and aqueous extract of Withania somnifera (***) root on the marble-burying behavior of mice a well-accepted model of obsessive compulsive ***:Mice were divided in different groups(n=6).Fluoxetine(5,10,15 mg/kg), (10,25,50,100 mg/kg) and melhanolic extract ***(MEWS)(10,25,50,100 mg/kg) were administered i.p.30 *** to the assessment of marble burying behavior and locomotor *** control group received vehicle of the ***:Administration of aqueous extracts ***(AEWS) and MEWS(50 mg/kg) successively decreaesed the marble burying behavior activity without affecting motor *** effect of AEWS and MEWS was comparable to standard fluoxetine,ritanserin and ***:*** extract is effective in treating obsessive compulsive disorder.

We hereby report the room-temperature structural and optical characterization of RECr_(0.85)Mn_(0.15)O_(3)(RECMO,RE=Ho,Gd and Pr) compounds synthesized by the auto-combustion sol-gel *** low temperature dielectric properties are also *** RECMO compounds crystallize in an orthorhombic Pbnm symmetry with an average grain size range of 51-80 *** analysis reveals an increase in the structural distortion compared to that of the undoped bulk *** measurements exhibit a significant reduction in bandgap values for RECMO nanoparticles when compared with their undoped bulk ***,from the absorbance measurements various optical parameters such as skin depth,extinction coefficient,refractive index and optical conductivity were also *** dielectric analysis confirms the lower values of the dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss than those of their corresponding bulk *** conductivity versus frequency and temperature data are fitted according to the Jonscher's power law and Arrhenius law,*** small polaron hopping is responsible for the electric conduction in these *** tunability of the optical and dielectric properties as a result of substitution and particle size reduction makes these materials useful for various potential applications in photocatalysis,optoelectronics and low permittivity dielectrics.

Payment Channel Networks (PCNs) are a promising alternative to improve the scalability of a blockchain network. A PCN employs off-chain micropayment channels that do not need a global block confirmation procedure, thereby sacrificing the ability to confirm transactions instantaneously. PCN uses a routing algorithm to identify a path between two users who do not have a direct channel between them to settle a transaction. The performance of most of the existing centralized path-finding algorithms does not scale with network size. The rapid growth of Bitcoin PCN necessitates considering distributed algorithms. However, the existing decentralized algorithms suffer from resource underutilization. We present a decentralized routing algorithm, Swift, focusing on fee optimization. The concept of a secret path is used to reduce the path length between a sender and a receiver to optimize the fees. Furthermore, we reduce a network structure into combinations of cycles to theoretically study fee optimization with changes in cloud size. The secret path also helps in edge load sharing, which results in an improvement of throughput. Swift routing achieves up to 21% and 63% in fee and throughput optimization, respectively. The results from the simulations follow the trends identified in the theoretical analysis.

Machine learning(ML) is well suited for the prediction of high-complexity,high-dimensional problems such as those encountered in terminal *** evaluate the performance of four popular ML-based regression models,extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),artificial neural network(ANN),support vector regression(SVR),and Gaussian process regression(GP),on two common terminal ballistics’ problems:(a)predicting the V50ballistic limit of monolithic metallic armour impacted by small and medium calibre projectiles and fragments,and(b) predicting the depth to which a projectile will penetrate a target of semi-infinite *** achieve this we utilise two datasets,each consisting of approximately 1000samples,collated from public release *** demonstrate that all four model types provide similarly excellent agreement when interpolating within the training data and diverge when extrapolating outside this *** extrapolation is not advisable for ML-based regression models,for applications such as lethality/survivability analysis,such capability is *** circumvent this,we implement expert knowledge and physics-based models via enforced monotonicity,as a Gaussian prior mean,and through a modified loss *** physics-informed models demonstrate improved performance over both classical physics-based models and the basic ML regression models,providing an ability to accurately fit experimental data when it is available and then revert to the physics-based model when *** resulting models demonstrate high levels of predictive accuracy over a very wide range of projectile types,target materials and thicknesses,and impact conditions significantly more diverse than that achievable from any existing analytical *** with numerical analysis tools such as finite element solvers the ML models run orders of magnitude *** provide some general guidelines throughout for the development,application,and reporting of ML models in terminal ballist
