In recent years,several studies have reported positive outcomes of cell-based therapies despite insufficient engraftment of transplanted cells.These findings have created a huge interest in the regenerative potential of paracrine factors released from transplanted stem or progenitor cells.Interestingly,this notion has also led scientists to question the role of proteins in the secretome produced by cells,tissues or organisms under certain conditions or at a particular time of regenerative therapy.Further studies have revealed that the secretomes derived from different cell types contain paracrine factors that could help to prevent apoptosis and induce proliferation of cells residing within the tissues of affected organs.This could also facilitate the migration of immune,progenitor and stem cells within the body to the site of inflammation.Of these different paracrine factors present within the secretome,researchers have given proper consideration to stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF1)that plays a vital role in tissue-specific migration of the cells needed for regeneration.Recently researchers recognized that SDF1 could facilitate site-specific migration of cells by regulating SDF1-CXCR4 and/or HMGB1-SDF1-CXCR4 pathways which is vital for tissue regeneration.Hence in this study,we have attempted to describe the role of different types of cells within the body in facilitating regeneration while emphasizing the HMGB1-SDF1-CXCR4 pathway that orchestrates the migration of cells to the site where regeneration is needed.

VISCAL： Heuristic algorithm based application tool to calibrate microscopic simulation parameters

VISCAL （VISSIM calibration） is an automated calibration tool for microscopic simulation parameters in VISSIM environment, based on three heuristic optimization algorithms：（a） genetic algorithm （GA）; Col simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation （SPSA）; （c） simulated annealing （SA）. It is developed with a goal to automate and ease the tedious process of calibration, offering greater flexibility to the users by providing control on every aspect of the calibration process. It includes multiple features for a generic application tool with the ability to test the significance of the appropriate decision parameter set for a particular network, to determine the most suitable objective function to reflect network characteristics, and to check the suitability of any of the three heuristic optimization al- gorithms for a particular network. VISCAL also offers four objective function choices into the system：（1） speed, （2） flow, （3） delay, and （4） multi-objective criteria. It is able to calibrate all the driving behavior parameters for any type （urban, rural） and extent of network （small or large network）. However, for this study, the operation of the tool is tested by a dataset obtained from a 3.26 km freeway of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Denim is the most popular dress material to any age of people. Day by day its demand increasing swiftly because of western life style and fashion has been accelerated with the trends of casualization across the globe. Nowadays, the present structure of denim (regular, stretch) cannot cover the versatile field of human needs owing to its comfort and stiffness problem. So it is very important to diversification of denim fabrics according to the customers demand and also acquisition the consumer. The main goal of the study is to develop double cloth structure in denim using 30s/1 and 20s/1 cotton (CW) yarn by some selected structures. Moreover, it will create new era by promoting versatility keeping with comfort factors. Here, some denim fabric has been manufactured by using double cloth structure that will give versatility and it affects thermo-physiological comfort. The warmth of a fabric has been found due to the trapping air into the structure and such applications like top garments, baby and kids wear, jacket, coat, cloth for winter season etc. Eventually, the samples have been tested and compared with regular denim on the basis of visual appearance, GSM, tensile strength, shrinkage and stiffness. The developed samples provided satisfactory level compared to regular. Most importantly, findings come due to dissipation the yarn into two layers along with finer count rather than regular denim.

Background: Cerebral palsy is the most common chronic motor disability that begins in childhood with the predominant motor abnormality that is spasticity. Objective: The purpose of the present study was to compare the efficacy of oral baclofen and oral tizanidine in reducing spasticity in cerebral palsy patients. Methodology: This randomized controlled trial was conducted from January 2010 to December 2011 and it was carried out in the Out Patient Department (OPD) of Pediatrics at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Dhaka, Bangladesh and Center for Neurodevelopment and Autism in Children (CNAC) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Efficient Finite Difference Methods for the Numerical Analysis of One-Dimensional Heat Equation

In this paper, we investigate and analyze one-dimensional heat equation with appropriate initial and boundary condition using finite difference method. Finite difference method is a well-known numerical technique for obtaining the approximate solutions of an initial boundary value problem. We develop Forward Time Centered Space (FTCS) and Crank-Nicolson (CN) finite difference schemes for one-dimensional heat equation using the Taylor series. Later, we use these schemes to solve our governing equation. The stability criterion is discussed, and the stability conditions for both schemes are verified. We exhibit the results and then compare the results between the exact and approximate solutions. Finally, we estimate error between the exact and approximate solutions for a specific numerical problem to present the convergence of the numerical schemes, and demonstrate the resulting error in graphical representation.

中国传统绘画(区别于中国油画“西洋画”)是经历千年传承的艺术形式,在历史上中国传统绘画对世界其它绘画艺术的发展有着积极的影响,主要是以毛笔、墨、国画颜料等画在特定载体上进行艺术创作的绘画形式。其主要表现形式重“神似”不重“形似”,重意境不重场景,而这种“神似”与“意境”更多的是把画中物象作为了一种载体。孟加拉绘画被普遍认为是为了复兴古代印度美术而形成的绘画形式,在其发展过程中借鉴了中国传统绘画艺术元素特别是在20世纪中期,两种绘画的艺术交流频繁,孟加拉绘画在这一时期走向繁荣,产生了一大批对复兴孟加拉绘画有所建树的艺术家,如阿巴宁德拉纳特·泰戈尔、南达拉尔·鲍斯、扎伊努尔·阿比丁等,在孟加拉绘画中可以看到无论是在线条表现、装饰色彩,以及艺术题材内容和艺术思想等方面,都与中国传统绘画有着密不可分的联系。论文通过查阅中孟(古印度)两国古代相关的文献记录以及对孟加拉绘画的对比分析中,发现中国传统绘画对复兴孟加拉(古印度)传统绘画艺术提供了重要借鉴意义,对并孟加拉绘画的发展起到了积极地促进作用。

Investigation on Fire Protection System of Highrise Buildings in the Context of Bir Uttam Aminul haque Avenue in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Rapid high-rise building construction of different occupancies is becoming popular in Dhaka due to its economic gain and functional flexibility. Fire prevention poses a significant difficulty to this type of construction due to its complexity and economic worth as well. Therefore, construction of high-rise building without following the proper fire safety measures, is a common practice at present in the city and it poses a greater threat to urban life considering its associated loss. Even though, most of the owners or authorities do not respect the construction code and the majority of them lack sufficient awareness and basic fire control knowledge and practice. More often, they are unable to comprehend the magnitude and severity of severe fire hazards, and recognize the causes and implementing effective mitigation measures are rare. As a result, the number of fire hazard in high-rise construction is increasing day by day. Hence, investigating the present condition of high-rise buildings (already built) in terms of Fire Protection System is imperative to prevent the upcoming fire hazard. An urban chunk of 33 plots along with Bir Uttam Aminul haque Avenue, located in Banani, has been chosen for the study area considering its vulnerability to fire hazard. Among these buildings, STAR Tower and HBR Tower, these two high-rise buildings are assessed thoroughly using FRI (Fire Risk Index) Method. The method is semi-quantitative in nature with seventeen parameters associated with fire protection. This assessment represents a scenario in what extent fire codes are being followed in the selected area. It concludes that most of the buildings lack in providing protection against fire hazards for not following the code strictly. This research provides some recommendations which can be followed to improve the fire safety measures in this existing context.
