Tubal hydatidiform mole is an uncommon condition with about 40 confirmed cases in the accessible literature. The patient usually presents with symptoms and signs of a classical ectopic pregnancy, and it is only after histological examination and DNA ploidy analysis of the conceptus that a hydatidiform mole is diagnosed. We present an unusual case of primi gravida at 6 weeks gestation that was diagnosed as having ectopic pregnancy.

Cytokines have been in focus of scientific in for more than decade now. Analyzing their expression has enabled a better understanding of pathogenesis of various diseases. Moreover, they are now for beyond their stage when they were of interest for pathophysiological research. In the present study, we used an assay to anti-inflammatory cytokines. One hundred and thirty sera and urine from egg positive individuals and 42 samples of healthy individuals in Eldeum locality—an endemic area of S. haematobum and 28 healthy individuals from non-endemic area were tested. Concentration of IL5 and IL10 is reverse. IL5 is low in serum but high in urine before treatment and high in serum and low in urine after treatment. IL10 is high in serum, low in urine before treatment and low in serum, high in urine after treatment.

Brucellosis is a zoonosis found throughout the world with major implications both in the field of public health and farming economy. It is most often caused by Brucella abortus and Brucella melitensis. This study aimed for evaluation of the sensitivity and specificity of immunochromatographic assay (ICA) and comparing the results with those obtained from Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT) and in direct Enzyme Linked Immunsorbent Assay (ELISA) for serodiagnosis of sheep and goat brucellosis. Out of 41 sera samples (21 ram and 20 male goats) which were examined, antibodies against Brucella were detected in ram 8 (38.09%), 6 (28.57%) and 16 (76.19%) in ram samples, whereas they were detected in 3 (15%), 1 (5%) and 12 (60%) serum sample of goats males by RBPT, (ICA) and iELISA respectively. The kappa value between iELISA and ICA was -0.08 and that between RBPT and ELISA was -0.01 in ram and the kappa value between iELISA and ICA was -0.06 and that between RBPT and ELISA was -0.14 in male goats. The sensitivity for RBPT and ICA were 37.5% and 25% while specificity was 60% and 60% in ram;whereas, in male goats, sensitivity for RBPT was 8.33% and ICA was 8.33% while specificity was 75% and 100% respectively. It can be concluded that the developed ICA is immunodiagnostic assay, and it is rapid, non-expensive, economical and suitable for large-scale screening in developing countries and rural areas.

syndrome （BCS） and identify the aetiologies of thisdisease in ***： Patients with BCS, hospitalised in our unitfrom January 2004 until June 2010 were included and theaetiological factors were assessed. Patients presentinga BCS in the setting of advanced-stage cirrhosis or aliver transplantation were excluded from the study. Thediagnosis was established when an obstruction of hepaticvenous outflow （thrombosis, stenosis or compression）was demonstrated. We diagnosed myeloproliferativedisease （MPD） by bone marrow biopsy and V617FJAK2 mutation. Anti-phospholipid syndrome （APLS） wasdetected by the presence of anticardiolipin antibodies,anti-β2 glycoprotein antibodies and Lupus *** also detected paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria（PNH） by flow cytometry. Celiac disease and Beh？etdisease were systematically investigated in our *** anticoagulant protein deficiencies were alsoassessed. We tested our patients for the G20210Amutation at Beaujon Hospital. Imaging procedures wereperformed to determine a local cause of BCS, such as ahydatid cyst or a liver ***： One hundred and fifteen patients wereincluded. Mean follow up： 32.12 mo. Mean age： 34.41years, M/F = 0.64. Chronic presentation was frequent：63.5%. The revealing symptoms for the BCS wereascites （74.8%） and abdominal pain （42.6%）. Themost common site of thrombosis was the hepatic veins（72.2%）. Involvement of the inferior vena cava alonewas observed in 3 patients. According to the radiologicalinvestigations, BCS was primary in 94.7% of the cases（n = 109） and secondary in 5.2% （n = 6）. An aetiologywas identified in 77.4% of the patients （n = 89）; itwas multifactorial in 27% （n = 31）. The predominantaetiology of BCS in our patients was a myeloproliferativedisease, observed in 34.6% of cases. APLS was foundin 21.7% and celiac disease in 11.4%. Background: Community pharmacists play a significant role in dispensing and counseling about medications and pharmaceuticals including beauty and cosmetic products. Aims and Objectives: The current study was conducted to assess the viewpoint of community pharmacists in the Western region of Saudi Arabia about their professional role in dispensing beauty products. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between September and December 2019 using an online questionnaire. Expert professors from college of pharmacy, Taif University validated the questionnaire. Results: Five hundred seventy-seven community pharmacists completed the questionnaire. Most of the participants were male (99%) and aged 23 - 34 years old (71.1%). Slightly less than half (45.58%) of community pharmacists have 6 - 10 years of experience. Most pharmacists (96.9%) communicate directly with customers/ patients and most of them (85.3%) ask and counsel patients about their product. Pharmacists strongly agreed that pharmacists must keep in developing their communication skills with customers/patients. Conclusion: Most of the community pharmacists surveyed in this study reported a good perceived knowledge and attitudes and demonstrated an acceptable level of practices regarding beauty products. Saudi FDA is encouraged to adopt Good Pharmacy Practice standards and guidelines to improve current practice of community pharmacists concerning Beauty Products.

Cross-sectional population based study examining the impact of children with asthma on US rural families

Introduction: Approximately 7.1 million US children have asthma. The burden of asthma is disproportionate with ruralUSpopulations experiencing a higher prevalence of the disease. Rural populations experience additional disparities regarding health care access, job availability, and daily living resources. Hence, the family impact of having a child with asthma may be influenced by geographic locale. This impact could be a result of health insurance tied to employment, out of pocket costs, and health care provider availability. Few studies have assessed the impact a child’s asthma has on a family. This study sought to answer the question: What is the impact of children with asthma on US rural families? Methods: Multivariate techniques were performed to examine a single year of data from two connected population-based datasets, the 2007-2008 National Survey of Children’s Health and the 2009-2010 Children with Special Health Care Needs Survey. Children with current asthma defined the study population for both datasets. A logistic regression model was performed for each database. The dependent variable for the first model was child in family currently has asthma, for the second it was rural children with current asthma. Results: The first logistic regression model confirmed that rural children were more likely to have asthma than non-rural children. The second logistic regression model yielded that rural families with a child diagnosed with asthma had greater odds of: not having health insurance, having a parent who stopped working, avoided a job change, or experienced financial problems because of the child’s health. Conclusions: This study demonstrated that rural families experience a disproportionate financial hardship as a result of their child’s asthma. Pharmacist intervention in asthma care in rural areas has the potential to decrease the financial burden for a family while also improving a child’s health.

Introduction: Mental health is an important component of overall health. Mental illness is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the US and is associated with chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis. In the US, most people with mental health issues or disorders remain untreated. Epidemiological studies have identified rural residents as being at greater risk for health disparities;as a result, rural residents are a vulnerable population in terms of mental health and mental health care. Research has demonstrated that perceived stigma can be a significant barrier to rural residents seeking mental health care. This study examined the research question: What are the characteristics of US rural adults with mental health concerns who perceived stigma? Methods: 2007 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data were analyzed using bivariate and multivariate techniques to answer the research question. 2007 BRFSS data were used because in that year non-institutionalized US adults in 37 states and territories were queried about their attitudes toward mental illness. BRFSS is a random digit telephone survey that uses a complex multi-stage sampling approach and subsequently a weighting factor is calculated for application to the data in order to ensure that they are representative of the US population based on the most recent census data. Only weighted data were analyzed. Results: Logistic regression analysis revealed that rural adults reporting mental health concerns who perceived stigma regarding mental health were more likely to be unemployed seeking work or not working and not seeking work, military veterans, or to have deferred medical care because of cost. They were also more likely to not have a health care provider and to rarely or never feel supported emotionally. The Safety and Efficacy of Combination Therapy of Dapagliflozin and Metformin in Patient with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: A Review Study

Background: Sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors are a new class that approved by FDA for patient with type 2 DM. Dapagliflozin alone or in combination therapy with metformin provided effective glycemic control and HbA1c reduction, with minimal hypoglycemia and hypotension adverse effects. Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the combination therapy of dapagliflozin and metformin in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Methods: Research was conducted through MEDLINE and Embase databases in search of randomized controlled studies including dapagliflozin, sodium glucose co-transporter 2, metformin, and efficacy. Results: Forty seven articles were spotted, 3 randomized controlled studies were involved in this review. Dapagliflozin and metformin combination was found beneficial in HbA1c reduction equal to 20.7% - 31.5% from the baseline compared to patients on metformin alone. 40.6% of patients on combination therapy achieved the ADA recommended reduction in HbA1c to less than 7%. Moreover fasting plasma glucose level was reduced by 23.4 mg/dl from the baseline in the combination therapy compared to 5.9 mg/dl in metformin group. Body weight reduction was statistically significant (P Conclusion: The combination therapy of dapagliflozin and metformin found to be safe and effective in type 2 diabetes mellitus management with minimal adverse effects.
