Prognostic significance of Comparison of Clinical Indicators with Manifestations of Genetic Polymorphism of Glutathione-s-Transferases in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

The article presented the results of comparison of polymorphic variants of the genes GsTM1, GsTT1, GsTP1 and clinical manifestations of non-small cell lung carcinoma. The association of the genotype GsTT1 (del) with the risk of developing squamous cell lung cancer has been revealed (OR = 2.54 CI: 1.13 - 5.72, p = 0.035). Analysis of patient survival rate (n = 173) in groups of various histological types of lung cancer showed that in the group of squamous cell lung cancer (n = 91) in patients with genotype GsTT1 (del), the survival rate median was significantly higher—84 months (95% CI 12.4 - 155.7) than in patients with the genotype GsTT1 (+)—36 months (95% CI 25.2 - 46.8, p = 0.045). In contrast, in the adenocarcinoma group (n = 82), the survival rate median in patients with the genotype GsTT1 (del) was 19 months. (95% CI 6.2 - 33.5), and in patients with genotype GsTT1 (+)—67 months (95% CI 50.1 - 84.0), which is the basis for continuing this comparison in an additional group of testees, as the sampling did not achieve the reliability of p = 0.12. Hypothetically, these differences may be due to differences in the gender composition of squamous cell lung cancer and adenocarcinoma and the involvement of GsT enzymes in the metabolism of estrogens in adenocarcinoma in women and other hormonal background and reactivity of the male body with squamous cell carcinoma. Further research and subsequent analysis of the results will be aimed at confirming this hypothesis.

A comprehensive understanding of the regional vegetation responses to long-term climate change will help forecast earth system *** on a new well-dated pollen dataset from Kanas Lake and a review of published pollen records from in and around the Altai Mountains,the regional vegetation dynamics and forcing mechanisms are *** the Altai Mountains,the forest optimum occurred during 10-7 ka for the upper forest zone and a tree line decline and/or ecological shifts were caused by climatic cooling from around 7 *** the lower forest zone,the forest reached an optimum in the middle Holocene,and then increased openness of the forest,possibly caused by both climatic cooling and human activities,occurred in the late *** the lower basins or plains around the Altai Mountains,the development of proto-grassland or forest benefited from increasing humidity in the middle to late *** Points:A new pollen data set from a large deep lake was used to interpret the regional vegetation and climate of the southern Altai *** vegetation showed different long-term responses to climate change in and around the Altai *** dynamics and their impact on geophysical processes should be incorporated into coupled vegetation-climate models.

背景:本研究旨在分析克罗恩病患者回结肠切除术后近期并发症的发生率及危险因素。方法:对PRACTICROHN研究队列进行回顾性分析,纳入2007年1月至2010年12月间行回结肠切除一期吻合的成人克罗恩病患者。术后近期并发症定义为术后30天内出现的并发症,包括死亡、肠梗阻、吻合口漏、消化道出血、腹腔脓肿、切口感染、导管相关感染及其他腹腔外感染。结果:364例患者纳入分析,手术时患者的中位年龄38岁,男性占50%。手术适应证:狭窄型占46.4%,穿透型占31.3%,狭窄+穿透型占14.0%,药物难治性占5.8%。100例(27.5%)出现术后近期并发症,其中切口感染、腹腔脓肿和吻合口漏最为常见。出现并发症的患者其中位住院时间较未出现并发症者显著延长(16 vs 9天,Ps.25.7%(85/331),P=0.013)。手术期间接受药物治疗并不会影响并发症发生率。结论:约四分之一的克罗恩病患者行回结肠切除术后会出现近期并发症,其中穿透型病变和急诊手术患者术后并发症风险增高。

We represent assessment of the rats control operator"s actions, starting from the placement of rat control means (chemical, mechanical and others) in the object territory until the full its elimination and followed by assessment of the probability of rat population recovery. The probability of success is evaluated when using a combination of rat control means. We took into account changes in rat population occurring in different calendar periods of the year. The proposed calculation method can be used in training programs, as well as for the local forecast of releasing objects from rats and rats" re-settling.

This study aimed to evaluate the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) of Coffea canephora aqueous extract (Cc), trigonelline (Tg) and 5-caffeoylquinic acid (5-CQA) against cariogenic microorganisms: streptococcus parasanguinis ATCC 903 (sP), Lactobacillus rhamnosus ATCC 9595 (LR);and pathogens related to periodontal disease: Porphyromonas gingivalis ATCC 33277 (PG), Fusobacterium nucleatum ATCC 25586 (FN), Prevotella intermedia ATCC 49046 (PI) and Prevotella nigrescens ATCC 33563 (PN). Different concentrations of Cc (0.15625 to 10 mg/mL), Tg and 5-CQA (0.005 to 10.24 mg/mL) were tested. Chlorhexidine (0.05%) was used as positive control and the substances without the inoculum comprised the blank control. The Cc showed bacteriostatic action against sP (MIC = 5 mg/mL) and LR (MIC = 10 mg/mL). Tg showed bacteriostatic action against sP (MIC = 2.56 to 1.28 mg/mL), LR (MIC = 2.56 mg/mL), PG (MIC = 2.56 to 1.28 mg/mL), FN (MIC = 5.12 mg/mL), PN (MIC = 2.56 mg/mL), and PI (MIC = 2.56 to 1.28 mg/mL). Also, Tg showed bactericide properties against sP (MBC = 2.56 mg/mL), PG (MBC = 2.56 mg/mL), FN (MBC = 10.24 mg/mL), PN (MBC = 5.12 mg/mL), and PI (MBC = 2.56 mg/mL). Although 5-CQA has previously shown activity against streptococcus mutans, in the present study, it showed no activity against all tested microorganisms. C. canephora extract only showed antibacterial activity against cariogenic microorganisms, not presenting action against periodontal pathogens. It was concluded that trigonelline presented the best effect against all pathogens tested, therefore coffee extracts with higher trigonelline content should be tested against these specific pathogens.

孤独感,指受到社会孤立或与他人隔绝的感觉。研究发现,孤独感与消极的情感状况有关,尤其是与年轻人的抑郁症状有关。然而孤独和抑郁症状之间的关联机制尚不清楚。针对这一问题,有研究者提出通过应对策略来调节年轻人孤独感和抑郁症状之间的关系,应对策略是指为应对压力所做出的认知和行为上的努力。因而本研究旨在探究在西班牙大学生群体中应对策略在孤独感与抑郁症状之间的中介作用。本研究中,我们采用应对策略量表(包含积极(engagement)和消极(disengagement)两个维度,每个维度又包括应对问题(problem engagement)和应对情绪(emotion engagement)两个子维度,每个子维度下包括两种应对策略),R-UCLA孤独感量表以及Beck抑郁量表对364名西班牙大学生(275名女性)进行了抽样调查以检验孤独感、不同应对策略和抑郁症状水平。采用多重中介分析,来确定孤独感和抑郁症状之间的关系是否是由积极应对策略(如解决问题)和消极应对策略(如回避问题)起部分中介作用。结果显示1)问题解决和认知重构的间接效应显著,且与孤独感和抑郁症状均呈负相关;2)问题回避,愿望式思考,自我批评的间接效应显著,且与孤独感呈正相关。3)愿望式思考和自我批评与抑郁症状呈正相关,而问题回避与抑郁症状呈负相关。4)社会支持、情绪表达和孤独感呈负相关,情绪抑制和孤独感呈正相关,但三种应对策略均与抑郁症状无显著相关。中介模型表明,孤独感阻碍了以问题为中心的积极应对策略的使用,从而降低了高孤独感的西班牙大学生的问题解决能力,导致他们出现抑郁症状的风险增加。同时这些结果也表明,在西班牙大学生中,孤独感增加了自我批评和愿望式思考这两种应对策略的使用,使得消极应对策略的使用增加,进而增加了出现抑郁症状的风险。综上,本研究探讨了在西班牙大学生群体中,应对策略在孤独感和抑郁症状之间的中介作用。研究结果发现,减少孤独感、改善积极应对策略、避免消极应对策略、提高问题回避技能是西班牙大学生减少抑郁症状的重要措施。

随着全球变暖,北极冰雪融化,北极在很多方面影响日益增加。其中资源、航道战略地位成为多方利益相关者的热点和焦点。在复杂的地缘政治背景下,俄罗斯在北极的利益,特别是油气资源项目和北方海航道基础设施建设受到欧美制裁的负面影响。俄罗斯政府开始积极推进"东方矢量",积极支持中国的"一带一路"倡议。中俄在北极区域的合作显然对中俄两国有双赢的效果。一方面,从资源、航道复兴,经济创新等角度为俄罗斯在北极地区的战略顺利执行提供保障;另一方面,能够促进中国在"一带一路"倡议下推出的经北冰洋连接欧洲的"蓝色经济通道"建设,改变中国的"非北极国家"的定位,通过和俄罗斯战略合作伙伴关系,加速中国在北极事务中地位不断提高,更利于中国在全球治理过程中增加影响力。因此,北极航道(以下俄称"北方海航道")具有重要的战略意义。
