While secondary solid cancer into the eye orbit is rare,it is the most common site for primary metastasis in female breast *** report a case of a sixty-six years old woman presenting to her optician with complaints of double *** resonance imaging revealed an invasive lesion in the superior and medial rectus muscles of the right orbit,biopsy of which confirmed this as an infiltrating breast *** of the primary lesion showed an advanced invasive ductal carcinoma of the right *** was then treated with radiotherapy to the orbit and a non steroidal aromatase inhibitor Anastrozol(Arimidex®).We herein review and discuss the literature,epidemiology,mechanism of tumor spread,the“seed and soil”theory,clinical presentation,pathology,and management of this uncommon presentation.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common cause of cancer-related death in Saudi Arabia. Our study aimed to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of TNM staging, Alfa-fetoprotein (AFP), and Child-Turcotte Pugh (CTP) on patients' overall survival (OS).Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2020. All patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria: (a) a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or (b) a biopsy-confirmed diagnosis.Results:The mean patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:1. All patients were stratified into two groups: viral HCC (n = 22, 51%) and non-viral HCC (n = 21, 49%). Among viral-HCC patients, 55% were due to HBV and 45% due to HCV. Cirrhosis was diagnosed in 79% of cases. Age and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients (-value > 0.05). About 65% of patients had tumor size >5 cm during the diagnosis, with a significant statistical difference in OS (-value = 0.027). AFP was >400 ng/ml in 45% of the patients. There was a statistically significant difference in the OS in terms of AFP levels (-value = 0.021). A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CTP score and OS (-value = 0.02). CTP class B had the longest survival. BSC was the most common treatment provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib therapy. There was a significant statistical difference in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients (-value = 0.008).Conclusions:The most common predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC, AFP, and tumor size. Being having non-viral etiology, a tumor size >5 cm, an AFP > 400 ng/mL, and a CTP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

Enhanced oil recovery by CO_(2) injection technology(CO_(2)-EOR)plays a crucial role in enhancing oil production and the permanent sequestration of anthropogenic CO_(2) in depleted oil ***,the availability of CO_(2) in oil field locations and its mobility in contrast with reservoir fluids are prime challenges in CO_(2)-*** cost of CO_(2) and its availability at the oil fields has prompted investigations on efficient injection of CO_(2) at the fields to achieve the best sweep efficiency *** strategies such as water-alternating-gas(WAG),simultaneous vertical and horizontal WAG,simultaneous water injection into the aquifer and vertical WAG,water and gas injection simultaneously but separately(SS-WAG),and water and gas injection simultaneously but not separately(SNS-WAG)play a significant role,as well as the purity of CO_(2).In this work,the significance of the above criteria was investigated indi-vidually and in *** coupled sequence of injection rate,soaking time,WAG ratio,and purity of injected CO_(2) for enhancement of oil production were delineated.A realistic reservoir simulation model conceptualizing the CO_(2)-EOR system with five spot injection patterns was developed by the company *** history-matched model that was developed was used to investigate the sensitivity of the coupled effects to the criteria listed above on oil *** investigations quantitatively emphasized that purity and soaking time of CO_(2) have an inverse effect in the oil production rate and that SNS-WAG resulted in a better oil production rate than SS-WAG.

Three new metal complexes derived from Er（Ⅲ）, Dy（Ⅲ） and Zr（Ⅳ） with 2-aminobenzohydrazide （ABH） were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, ^1H-NMR, ES-MS and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. The morphology and the particle size were determined by TEM. The results showed that the ligand acted as neutral bi-dentate coordinating to the metal ions through the carbonyl oxygen and amidic amino nitrogen. The aromatic amine group remained inert towards coordination. The optical band gap was measured and found to be 3.3, 3.5 and 4.3 eV for Er（Ⅲ）, Dy（Ⅲ） and Zr（Ⅳ）, respectively. The optical band gap values indicated a semi-conducting nature of the investigated complexes. The anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities of the tested compounds were determined and compared with standard meloxicam.

This research provides conclusions that can partially cover the lack of knowledge related to the effects of ambient atmospheric conditions on DC electric power *** polymer insulating materials are used for completing this research *** a climate chamber,the relative humidity is controlled and adjusted from 20%to 80%***,the samples are charged with positive or negative charges by applying±20 kV to the corona-generating ring of *** surface potential is measured using an electrostatic voltmeter and is converted into surface charge density later by applying the probe response matrix *** pre-charged samples are then stressed with high-voltage negative or positive DC values inside the climate chamber over a range of controlled values of the surrounding air humidity until flashover takes *** space charges,which can drift in the air gap to reach the solid surface,are highly affected by the level of the relative humidity of the surrounding ***,increasing humidity results in a reduction of the DC flashover inception voltage and a shorter time to flashover regardless of the voltage ***,the positive or negative flashover inception voltage of both materials increases with pre-deposited negative charges while it decreases with pre-deposited positive charges.

The tidal power has the potential to play a vital role in a sustainable energy *** main objective of this paper is to investigate the performance and fatigue life of tidal current turbine(TCT)using fluid structure interaction(FSI)*** performance of TCT was predicted using Ansys *** performance curve,pressure distribution on the blade,and velocity streamline were visualized for eight repetitive analyses at different tip speed *** hydrodynamic load calculated from CFD analysis was transferred to FEA model for investigation of the structural response of *** analysis was performed to examine the mode shapes and natural frequencies of *** fatigue analysis were performed and number of cycles and safety factor at different equivalent alternating stresses were *** results of the simulation confirm that the turbine has a maximum value of the coefficient of performance atλ=5,the turbine operating frequency is not close to its natural frequency,and it is safe under the applied fatigue loads with a high factor of safety.

在电子商务飞速发展的今天,其过程中暴露出的隐私保护问题也逐渐凸显出来,并正在成为国内外炙手可热的研究课题。当前,电子商务领域消费者隐私信息被公开、个人数据资料未经授权被收集和利用等违法行为屡禁不止。因此维护消费者隐私权益,整顿电子商务行业不良之风已成为十分必要的举措。本文以当下热议的电子商务隐私保护问题为出发点,从平台和用户两方面开展相关研究。首先,本文通过了解中国电子商务平台如何实施数据隐私的七项原则,对比调查了中国六家比较有代表性的电商平台实施的隐私政策、用户协议以及条款与条件(T&C)。总体看来,研究表明这些平台已完全执行了PIPL的全部核心准则,其隐私政策也验证了这些平台全力对用户所共享的信息进行保护。但是仅从隐私政策的研究上无法确定这些平台是否真正根据法律法规要求销毁或者删除用户数据,为此我们开展了第二项研究。第二项研究旨在调查消费者对负面在线隐私体验的反馈,本次研究的样本为中国一所大型高校的486名学生用户。通过对数据进行整理和分析,结果表明,用户隐私泄露的现象说明目前电子商务方面存在很大的用户隐私保护问题,对用户的隐私保护没有遵循平台所声明的隐私政策,或者对于隐私政策没有完全遵守,存在漏洞,出现消费者隐私信息被公开、个人数据资料被未经授权收集等问题。本次研究的目标是调查顾客对于隐私规则的认识。通过研究,我们发现维护消费者隐私权益,整顿电子商务行业不良之风已成为十分必要的举措,加强电子商务中的个人隐私信息保护,对于尊重和保护消费者隐私权,推动电子商务行业的良性发展,进而推动中国社会经济转型有着基础性的重要意义,同时也是广大消费者盼望之所系。通过对现有电子商务隐私保护策略的研究,总结归纳出经验与教训,最终探索一条适合中国电子商务发展的可持续道路。诚然,中国的隐私保护工作尚有很多需要改进的地方。不过我们相信,只要政府、电子商务企业、消费者三者共同努力,电子商务隐私保护问题的解决定将迎来曙光,国内电子商务行业定将走上健康的可持续发展道路。

Usually,rural areas can be electrified via three-phase distribution transformers with relatively large *** such areas,low voltage lines are used for long distances,which cause power losses and voltage drop for different types of *** losses and improving voltage profiles in rural distribution networks are significant challenges for electricity distribution *** different solutions were proposed in the literature to overcome these challenges,most of them face difficulties when applied in the conventional distribution *** address the above issues,an applicable solution is proposed in this paper by installing a number of small-capacity distribution transformers instead of every single large-capacity transformer in rural *** proposed approach is implemented in the branch network of Al-Hoqool village,which belongs to the Nineveh distribution *** network has been inspected on-site,drawn,and analyzed using the electrical systems analysis program(ETAP).The analysis showed that using the single-phase pole-mounted transformers can improve the voltage in the network’s end by 29%and enhance the voltage profile for all *** analysis has also demonstrated that the modification can reduce the total power losses by 78%compared to the existing *** the economic aspect,the payback period for the proposed network is assigned to be 20 months.
