In this paper,we propose a bored core hexagonal photonic crystal fiber(BC-HPCF)which obtains ultra-high negative dispersion and large nonlinearity *** aim of the proposed design is to achieve the desired optical properties by using circular air holes only to make the fiber simple and *** investigate the light guiding properties of the proposed BC-HPCF,finite element method(FEM)with circular perfectly matched boundary layer(PML)is *** to numerical simulation,it is possible to obtain a large value of negative dispersion of-2102 ps·nm^(-1)•km^(-1)and large value of nonlinearity of 111.6 W^(-1)·km^(-1)at optimum wavelength of 1550 *** addition,±2%deviation in optical characteristics is evaluated and reported in order to study the practical feasibility of the proposed *** large negative dispersion and high nonlinearity of our proposed design make it a strong candidate for optical broadband communication,super continuum generation,and sensing.

Tomato yellow leaf curl virus(TYLCV)dispersed across different countries,specifically to subtropical regions,associated with more severe *** TYLCV was first isolated in 1931,it has been a menace to tomato industrial production worldwide over the past *** groups were newly isolated from TYLCV-resistant tomatoes in 2022;however,their functions are *** development of machine learning(ML)-based models using characterized sequences and evaluating blind predictions is one of the major challenges in interdisciplinary *** purpose of this study was to develop an integrated computational framework for the accurate identification of symptoms(mild or severe)based on TYLCV sequences(isolated in Korea).For the development of the framework,we first extracted 11 different feature encodings and hybrid features from the training data and then explored 8 different classifiers and developed their respective prediction models by using randomized 10-fold ***,we carried out a systematic evaluation of these 96 developed models and selected the top 90 models,whose predicted class labels were combined and considered as reduced *** the basis of these features,a multilayer perceptron was applied and developed the final prediction model(IML-TYLCVs).We conducted blind prediction on 3 groups using IML-TYLCVs,and the results indicated that 2 groups were severe and 1 group was ***,we confirmed the prediction with virus-challenging experiments of tomato plant phenotypes using infectious clones from 3 *** virologists and plant breeding professionals can access the user-friendly online IML-TYLCVs web server at https://***/IML-TYLCVs,which can guide them in developing new protection strategies for newly emerging viruses.

In this paper,we report,for the first time,on the electrochemical catalytic activity of 2D titanium carbonitride MXene for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).According to our study,2D titanium carbonitride exhibited much higher electrocatalytic activity than its carbide analogues,achieving an onset overpotential of 53 mV and Tafel slope of 86 mV dec^(-1),superior to the titanium carbide with onset overpotential of 649 mV and Tafel slope of 303 mV dec^(-1).The obtained onset overpotential for 2D titanium carbonitride is lower than those of all the reported transition metal carbides MXene catalysts without additives,so *** functional theory calculations were conducted to further understand the electrochemical *** calculation results show that a greater number of occupied states are active for Ti_(3)CNO_(2),revealing free energy for the adsorption of atomic hydrogen closer to 0 than that of Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2).Both experimental and calculation studies demonstrate the excellent electrocatalytic behavior of titanium *** investigation of 2D titanium carbonitride opens up a promising paradigm for the conscious design of high-performance non-precious metal catalyst for hydrogen generation.

Pregnancy in women with lupus,particularly those with lupus nephritis(LN),carries an increased risk of adverse *** with active LN at the time of conception are at a high risk of poor maternal and fetal *** studies indicate that even in the presence of quiescent disease,factors such as hypertension and positive lupus anticoagulant are predictors of worse pregnancy ***,pre-conception evaluation is essential to ensure that pursuing pregnancy is safe and timely,and to facilitate proper planning for optimizing medical regimens,discontinuing teratogenic agents,and treating active ***,pre-existing LN is associated with higher rates of preeclampsia and hemolysis,elevated liver enzymes,and low platelet count *** with lupus and prior LN can have successful pregnancies,but a multidisciplinary approach with close monitoring is essential for optimal *** systematically reviewing the available evidence,this narrative review aims to provide a comprehensive update on the complex interaction between LN and pregnancy,offering insights to guide clinical practice and future research in this field.

RNA interference(RNAi) is a powerful tool for functional gene analysis which has been successfully used to downregulate the expression levels of target *** goal of this research was to provide a highly robust and concise methodology for in-vitro screening of efficient siRNAs from a bulk to be used as a tool to protect potato plants against PVY *** our study,a 480bp fragment of the capsid protein gene of potato virus Y(CP-PVY) was used as a target to downregulate PVY mRNA expression in-vitro,as the CP gene interferes with viral uncoating,translation and replication.A total of six siRNAs were designed and screened through transient transfection assay and knockdown in expression of CP-PVY mRNA was calculated in CHO-k ***-PVY mRNA knockdown efficiency was analyzed by RT-PCR and real-time PCR of CHO-k cells co-transfected with a CP gene construct and *** biological replicates were performed in this *** our findings,one CP gene specific siRNA out of a total of six was found to be the most effective for knockdown of CP-PVY mRNA in transfected CHO-k cells by up to 80%-90%.

Objective:To synthesize magnesium oxide nanoparticles using ethanol extract of shoots of Plicosepalus curviflorus(PC-MgONPs)and evaluate the antimicrobial,antioxidant,and anti-proliferative activities of ***:The green synthesized PC-MgONPs were characterized by ultraviolet-visible(UV),Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,zeta potential,energy dispersive X-ray,and scanning electron ***,we investigated total antioxidant capacity and antimicrobial and anti-proliferative activities using breast cancer cell lines(MDA-231).Results:The UV spectrum of PC-MgONPs showed a sharp absorption peak at 300 *** presence of magnesium,oxygen,and sodium was confirmed by energy dispersive X-ray *** electron microscopy revealed PC-MgONPs as roughly spherical granular structures with sizes ranging from 20.0 to ***-MgONPs showed considerable antimicrobial activities against Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus,methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans with zones of inhibition of 11-17 *** addition,total antioxidant capacity and anti-proliferative activity of PC-MgONPs against MDA-231 cells were ***:The synthesized PC-MgONPs could be a potent antimicrobial,antioxidant and anti-cancer agent,which needs further investigation.
