Silver nanoparticles are considerecl as good antimicrobial agent. AgNPs were synthesized by mixing silver nitrate solution with citrus sinesb extract for 2 h at 37 and analyzed by UV-visible spectra, SEM, XRD, and FTIR. AgNPs were tested against B. subtilis, Shigello, S. oureus, ond E. coli. Minimum inhibitory concentration of AgNPs was 20 I^g/mL for B. subtilis and Shigello and 30 I^g/mL for S. oureus and E. coll. Antibiofilm activity （80% to 90%） was observed at 25 IJg/mL. AgNPs were stable for five months with sustained an＇timicrobial activity. Biosynthesized AgNPs can bE： used to inhibit food poisoning microbial growth.

This work is devoted to the experimental determination of the electrostatic properties of the molecular 4-methyl-7-（salicylidene amino） coumarin（C17H13NC3） using high resolution x-ray diffraction data. The experimental results are compared with those obtained theoretically from calculation type ab initio. The experimental investigation is carried out using the molecular electron charge density distribution based on the multipolar model of Hansen and Coppens. However the theoretical calculations are conducted by using the molecular orbital B3 LYP method and the Hartree-Fock（HF） approximation with the basis set 6-31G（d,p） implemented in the Gaussian program. In addition to the structural analysis,the thermal agitation is also analyzed in terms of rigid blocks to ensure a better precision of the results. Subsequently, the electrostatic atomic and molecular properties such as the net charges, the molecular dipolar moment to highlight the nature of charge transfer existing within the molecule studied are derived. Moreover, the obtained electrostatic potential enables the localization of the electropositive and the electronegative parts of the investigated molecule. The present work reports in detail the obtained electrostatic properties of this biologically important molecule.

Background Coronary artery disease(CAD)remains a leading cause of morbidity and *** play a potential role in atherosclerosis pathogenesis and *** investigated the association between high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs CRP)and severity of *** CAD patients were stratified according to hs CRP cut-off value into high levels hs CRP group(≥8.4 mg/L)and low levels hs CRP group(<8.4 mg/L).Severity of CAD was assessed according to artery stenosis degree and the number of vessel *** analysis was performed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS,version 23.0).Results The mean age was 60.3±11.0 *** level of hs CRP was increased and ranged from 0.2 to 1020.0 mg/*** risk factors and severity of CAD didn’t show significant differences between the two *** multivariate linear analysis,cardiac troponin I(c Tn I)and serum amyloid A(SAA)were predictors of hs *** shown in receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis performed in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)and compared to myonecrosis biomarkers,hs CRP(area under the curve(AUC):0.905;95%CI:0.844-0.966;P<0.001)could be a powerful predictor marker in evaluating the infarct size after myocardial infarction but not better than c Tn *** Hs CRP levels were not associated with the severity of CAD but could be useful in the evaluation of myocardial necrosis in patients with STEMI.

Groundwater is considered as the main portion of the water supply in arid and semi-arid regions. The Sfax plain area is part of the arid/semi-arid areas of Tunisia that are subject to the impact of climatic and human pressures. Water scarcity in combination with groundwater exploitation is a major concern in this region. Therefore, sustainable management and protection of groundwater resources, it necessary. The delineation of groundwater potential (GP) zones becomes an increasingly important tool for implementing successful management programs. The purpose of the present paper is to assess the potential zone of groundwater resources in the study area. An efficient approach using geographical information system (GIS), hydrological modelling and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) was developed. At first, six groundwater parameters that affect groundwater occurrences are derived from the spatial geodatabase. Those parameters are: Infiltration rate estimated from a GIS linked model, lineament density, drainage density, slope, rainfall and Land use/land cover. Then, the assigned weights of thematic layers based on expert knowledge were normalized by eigenvector technique of AHP. The parameter layers were integrated and modeled using a weighted linear combination (WLC). The resulting map was classified into four categories: very low, low, good, and excellent. The results showed that about 26% of the study area falls under very-low-potential zone, with 30% on low-potential zone, 21% with good potential zone, and 23% falling under excellent zone. The results of the analysis were validated using pumping rate data and curve trend of sensitivity classes theory validation of outcomes indicated a good prediction accuracy. The results of the present study can serve to prepare a comprehensive groundwater development and management plans proving its efficacy in this art of exploratory investigations.

Increasing demand for better throughput and performance has motivated designers to come up with more sophisticated processors with innovative designs. Such designs for multicore architectures offer large amount of parallelism which is often underutilized and thus becomes overhead and liability. Due to these advancements, there has been a exponential increase in power consumption and heat dissipation of computing devices. Under these circumstances, an ideal system would be a reconfigurable system that can switch off all underutilized resources and work with only required ones. There is a need of reconfigurable computing devices and processors that are smart enough to configure themselves dynamically on runtime to find balance between throughput and power-consumption. This paper proposes a novel fuzzy logic based Dynamic voltage and frequency scaling(DVFS)and power-gating enabled controller which is capable of reducing power-consumption without affecting throughput and overall performance of the system. The design is implemented on Intel processor using Ubuntu as an operating system. Implementation results show that proposed Fuzzy logic controller(FLC) reduces power-consumption upto 40% by reconfiguring the processor dynamically without compromising the throughput.

Ni-Co alloys were electroplated from sulphate electrolyte using addition agents including sodium gluconate,boric acid and cysteine on copper foil by the galvanostatic technique and ultrasound *** chemical composition,surface morphologies,crystalline structure and hardness of the Ni-Co alloys were studied using energy dispersive spectroscopy,scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction and Vickers testing method,*** effect of current density and addition agents on the microstructure and morphology of Ni-Co alloys were *** appropriate concentration of additives and ultrasound waves were found to produce fine and smooth crystals leading to higher hardness of Ni-Co *** microhardness of the Ni-Co alloys was varied between 4860–7530 *** surface morphology of coatings was changed from granular to fine due to using of gluconate,boric acid,cysteine and ultrasound *** mechanical properties of nanocrystalline Ni-Co alloys showed an increase of the hardness with the growing of Ni content in the *** X-ray diffraction studies indicated that nanocrystalline structure was face-centred cubic for pure Ni and Ni-Co alloys with Co content in the range of 1–75 wt.%.A hexagonal closed-package structure was obtained for pure Co and Ni-Co alloys with the cobalt content with range of 75–99wt.%.

Purpose – In the process of robot shell design, it is necessary to match the shape of the input 3D originalcharacter mesh model and robot endoskeleton, in order to make the input model fit for robot and avoidcollision. So, the purpose of this paper is to find an object of reference, which can be used for the process ofshape ***/methodology/approach – In this work, the authors propose an interior bounded box (IBB)approach that derives from oriented bounding box (OBB). This kind of box is inside the closed mesh *** the same time, it has maximum volume which is aligned with the object axis but is enclosed by all the meshvertices. Based on the IBB of input mesh model and the OBB of robot endoskeleton, the authors can completethe process of shape matching. In this paper, the authors use an evolutionary algorithm, covariance matrixadaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES), to approximate the IBB based on skeleton and symmetry of inputcharacter mesh *** – Based on the evolutionary algorithm CMA-ES, the optimal position and scale informationof IBB can be found. The authors can obtain satisfactory IBB result after this optimization *** output IBB has maximum volume and is enveloped by the input character mesh model as ***/value – To the best knowledge of the authors, the IBB is first proposed and used in the field ofrobot shell design. Taking advantage of the IBB, people can quickly obtain a shell model that fit for *** the same time, it can avoid collision between shell model and the robot endoskeleton.

Purpose-The success of web services involved the adoption of this technology by different service providers through the web,which increased the number of web services,as a result making their discovery a tedious *** UDDI standard has been proposed for web service publication and ***,it lacks sufficient semantic description in the content of web services,which makes it difficult to find and compose suitable web services during the analysis,search,and matching *** addition,few works on semantic web services discovery take into account the user’s *** purpose of this paper is to optimize the web services discovery by reducing the search space and increasing the number of relevant ***/methodology/approach-The authors propose a new approach for the semantic web services discovery based on the mobile agent,user profile and metadata *** the approach,each user can be described by a profile which is represented in two dimensions:personal dimension and preferences *** description of web service is based on two levels:metadata catalog and ***-First,the semantic web services discovery reduces the number of relevant services through the application of matching algorithm“semantic match”.The result of this first matching restricts the search space at the level of UDDI registry,which allows the users to have good results for the“functional match”.Second,the use of mobile agents as a communication entity reduces the traffic on the network and the quantity of exchanged ***,the integration of user profile in the service discovery process facilitates the expression of the user needs and makes intelligible the selected ***/value-To the best knowledge of the authors,this is the first attempt at implementing the mobile agent technology with the semantic web service technology.

Down Protein C and S Antigen Could Be Predictor of Mortality Outcome in Critical Egyptian COVID-19 Illness

Background: One of the most serious morbidity and mortality features in COVID-19 is thrombo-embolic manifestation with disturbed hemostasis in natural anticoagulant. Protein S plays a critical role in cytokine storming and acts as cross talk between immune status and coagulation process. So, we aimed to address its role in addition to protein C in severity and outcome of disease, with its role in vaccinated people by AstraZeneca. Methods: The present study was conducted on 70 COVID-19 positive by real-time PCR. 40 of patients had moderate symptoms of respiratory, 30 cases were admitted into ICU of Mansoura University Hospital, some of them under mechanical ventilator. In addition to 40 healthy volunteers after first dose of vaccinated AstraZenka as reference, assessment of protein C&S antigen was done by ELIZA. Results: Significant increase in total leucocytic count in COVID-19 than vaccinated volunteer with significant reduction in absolute lymphocytosis, increased neutrophilia. First significant observation was higher MPV in COVID-19 than vaccinated, in addition to significantly higher C-reactive protein in severe cases than moderate and vaccinated. Prominent interesting finding in our study was significant reduction in Protein C&S in severe cases than moderate and vaccinated. Logistic regression analysis revealed that both could be predictor of mortality outcome as CRP in COVID-19 illness. Conclusion: There was significant reduction in protein C&S in severe cases than moderate and vaccinated. Regression analysis shows that could be predictor of mortality as well as CRP, D-dimer. Large extended study and follow up are needed to assess the incidence of thromboembolism and role of protein C&S in different variety protocols of vaccination programs.
