Insight into the adsorption behavior and mechanism of trace impurities from H_(2)O_(2) solution on functionalized zirconia by tuning the structure of amino groups

Primary,secondary and tertiary amino-functionalized zirconia(ZrO_(2)-nH_(2),ZrO_(2)-nH and ZrO_(2)-n)was synthesized by the postgrafting method for the adsorption removal of typical metallic ions,phosphate and total oxidizable carbon from a real H_(2)O_(2) ***_(2)-nH_(2),ZrO_(2)-nH and ZrO_(2)-n exhibited similar pore sizes and sequentially increased zeta *** adsorption results of single and binary simulated solutions showed that the removal efficiency increased in the order of Fe^(3+)>Al^(3+)>Ca^(2+)>na^(+).There is competitive adsorption between metallic ions,and Fe^(3+) has an advantage over the other metals,with a removal efficiency of 90.7%.The coexisting phosphate could promote the adsorption of metallic ions,while total oxidizable carbon had no effect on *** adsorption results of the real H_(2)O_(2)solution showed that ZrO_(2)-nH_(2) exhibited the best adsorption affinity for metallic ions,as did phosphate and total oxidizable carbon,with a total adsorption capacity of 120.9 mg·g_(-1).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption process of metallic ions involves electron transfer from n atoms to metals and the formation of n-metal bonds.

Background:Limited research has been conducted on the influence of autophagy-associated long non-coding RnAs(ARLncRnAs)on the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:We analyzed 371 HCC samples from TCGA,identifying expression networks of ARLncRnAs using autophagy-related *** for prognostically relevant ARLncRnAs involved univariate Cox regression,Lasso regression,and multivariate Cox regression.A nomogram was further employed to assess the reliability of Riskscore,calculated from the signatures of screened ARLncRnAs,in predicting ***,we compared drug sensitivities in patient groups with differing risk levels and investigated potential biological pathways through enrichment analysis,using consensus clustering to identify subgroups related to ***:The screening process identified 27 ARLncRnAs,with 13 being associated with HCC ***,a set of signatures comprising 8 ARLncRnAs was successfully constructed as independent prognostic factors for *** in the high-risk group showed very poor prognoses in most clinical *** Riskscore was closely related to immune cell scores,such as macrophages,and the DEGs between different groups were implicated in metabolism,cell cycle,and mitotic ***,high-risk group patients demonstrated a significantly lower IC50 for Paclitaxel,suggesting that Paclitaxel could be an ideal treatment for those at elevated risk for *** further identified C2 as the Paclitaxel subtype,where patients exhibited higher Riskscores,reduced survival rates,and more severe clinical ***:The 8 signatures based on ARLncRnAs present novel targets for prognostic prediction in *** drug candidate Paclitaxel may effectively treat HCC by impacting ARLncRnAs *** the identification of ARLncRnAsrelated isoforms,these results provide valuable insights for clinical exploration of autophagy mechanisms in HCC pathogenesis and offer potential av

Aluminum is the primary structural material in nuclear engineering,and its cross section induced by 14-MeV neutrons is of great *** address the issue of insufficient accuracy for the^(27)Al(n,2n)^(26)Al reaction cross section,the activation method and accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)technique were used to determine the^(27)Al(n,2n)^(26)Al cross section,which could be used as a D-T plasma ion temperature monitor in fusion *** the China Academy of Engineering Physics,neutron activation was performed using a K-400 neutron generator produced by the T(d,n)4He ***^(26)Al∕^(27)Al isotope ratios were measured using the newly installed GYIG 1 MV AMS at the Institute of Geochemistry,Chinese Academy of *** neutron flux was monitored by measuring the activity of 92mnb produced by the 93nb(n,2n)92mnb *** measured results were compared with available data in the experimental nuclear reaction database,and the measured values showed a reasonable degree of consistency with partially available literature *** newly acquired cross-sectional data at 12 neutron energy points through systematic measurements clarified the divergence,which has two different growth trends from the existing experimental *** obtained results are also compared with the corresponding evaluated database,and the newly calculated excitation functions with TALYS−1.95 and EMPIRE−3.2 codes,the agreement with CEnDL−3.2,TEnDL-2021 and EMPIRE−3.2 results are generally acceptable.A substantial improvement in the knowledge of the^(27)Al(n,2n)^(26)Al reaction excitation function was obtained in the present work,which will lay the foundation for the diagnosis of the fusion ion temperature,testing of the nuclear physics model,evaluation of nuclear data,etc.

The study of nuclide production and its properties in the n=126 neutron-rich region is prevalent in nuclear physics and astrophysics *** upcoming High-energy FRagment Separator(HFRS)at the High-Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility(HIAF),an in-flight separator at relativistic energies,is characterized by high beam intensity,large ion-optical acceptance,high magnetic rigidity,and high momentum resolution *** provides an opportunity to study the production and properties of neutron-rich nuclei around n=*** this paper,an experimental scheme is proposed to produce neutron-rich nuclei around n=126 and simultaneously measure their mass and lifetime based on the HFRS separator;the feasibility of this scheme is evaluated through *** results show that under the high-resolution optical mode,many new neutron-rich nuclei approaching the r-process abundance peak around A=195 can be produced for the first time,and many nuclei with unknown masses and lifetimes can be produced with high *** the time-of-flight corrected by the measured dispersive position and energy loss information,the cocktails produced from 208 Pb fragmentation can be unambiguously ***,the masses of some neutron-rich nuclei near n=126 can be measured with high precision using the time-of-flight magnetic rigidity *** indicates that the HIAF-HFRS facility has the potential for the production and property research of neutron-rich nuclei around n=126,which is of great significance for expanding the chart of nuclides,developing nuclear theories,and understanding the origin of heavy elements in the universe.

The past decades have witnessed a wide application of federated learning in crowd sensing,to handle the numerous data collected by the sensors and provide the users with precise and customized ***,how to protect the private information of users in federated learning has become an important research *** with the differential privacy(DP)technique and secure multiparty computation(SMC)strategy,the covert communication mechanism in federated learning is more efficient and energy-saving in training the ma-chine learning *** this paper,we study the covert communication problem for federated learning in crowd sensing Internet-of-Things *** from the previous works about covert communication in federated learning,most of which are considered in a centralized framework and experimental-based,we firstly proposes a centralized covert communication mechanism for federated learning among n learning agents,the time complexity of which is O(log n),approximating to the optimal ***,for the federated learning without parameter server,which is a harder case,we show that solving such a problem is nP-hard and prove the existence of a distributed covert communication mechanism with O(log logΔlog n)times,approximating to the optimal solution.Δis the maximum distance between any pair of learning *** analysis and nu-merical simulations are presented to show the performance of our covert communication *** hope that our covert communication work can shed some light on how to protect the privacy of federated learning in crowd sensing from the view of communications.

In the selective oxidation of biomass-based 1,2-propanediol(PDO)with oxygen as the terminal oxidant,it is challenging to improve the lactic acid(LA)selectivity for nonnoble metal nanoparticles(nPs)due to their limited oxygen reduction rate and easy C-C *** the high economic feasibility of nonnoble metals,i.e.,Cu,in this work,copper and nitrogen codoped porous carbon nanosheets encapsulating ultrafine Cu nanoparticles(Cu@Cu-n-C)were developed to realize highly selective of PDO oxidation to *** carbon-encapsulated ultrasmall Cu^(0)nPs in Cu@Cu-n-C have high PDO dehydrogenation activity while n-coordinated Cu(Cu-n)sites are responsible for the high oxygen reduction ***,the performance of catalytic PDO conversion to LA is optimized by a proposed pathway of PDO→hydroxylacetone→lactaldehyde→***,the enhanced LA selectivity is 88.5%,and the PDO conversion is up to 75.1%in an O_(2)-pressurized reaction system(1.0 MPa O_(2)),superior to other Cu-based catalysts,while in a milder nonpressurized system(O_(2)flow rate of 100 mL min-1),a remarkable LA selectivity(94.2%)is obtained with 39.8%PDO conversion,2.2 times higher than that of supported Au nanoparticles(1%Au/C).Moreover,carbon encapsulation offers Cu@Cu-n-C with strong leaching resistance for better recycling.

Hybrid multi-terminal direct current(MTDC)transmission technology has been a research focus,and primary frequency regulation(FR)improvement in the receiving-end system is one of the problems to be *** paper presents a decentralized primary FR scheme for hybrid MTDC power systems considering multi-source enhancement to help suppress frequency disturbance in the receiving-end *** the converters only need local frequency or DC voltage signal input to respond to system disturbance without communication or a control center,i.e.,a decentralized control *** proposed scheme can activate appropriate power sources to assist in FR in various system disturbance severities with fine-designed thresholds,ensuring sufficient utilization of each power *** better balance FR performance and FR resource participation,an evaluation index is proposed and the parameter optimization problem is further ***,the validity of the proposed scheme is verified by simulations in MATLAB/Simulink.
