The high incidence rates and complicated subtypes of prostate cancer(PCa)call for the demand of the precise diagnostic and therapeutic *** clinical imaging techniques,such as MRI,CT,and ultrasonography are difficult to accurately detect the early-stage tumor lesions,and biochemical assays or biopsies are invasive and cannot provide sufficient information for the PCa staging and *** has the potential to improve the accuracy of current diagnosis strategies by targeting specific PCa biomarkers and/or integrating multiple imaging *** this review,we briefly introduce current clinical PCa imaging strategies and their major limitations,and highlight representative works on nanoparticle-mediated multimode imaging *** also discuss the challenges of nanotechnology-based PCa diagnosis,and come up with suggestions and perspectives.

Despite chemotherapy has been widely used for tumor therapy, the serious side effect is still a major challenge. Recently, two dimensional nanomaterial-based drug delivery systems have attracted wide concern due to their high drug loading and low side effect. In addition, some kinds of nanomaterials can directly act as a photosensitizer to induce cancer destruction. In this study, we developed a drug delivery system of mixture of high/low molecular weight branched polyethylenimine-polyethylene glycol-reduced graphene oxide(mBPEI-PEG-rGO) using reduced graphene oxide as matrix. A model drug of doxorubicin(DOX) was loaded on the nanocomposites with the efficiency of 81% and the release rate of more than 50% at acidic environment. In vitro experiments indicated that mBPEI-PEG-rGO-DOX with enhanced stability and biocompatibility efficiently delivered and released DOX into cells mainly through micropinocytosis and killed SMMC-7721 cells by inducing reactive oxygen species(ROS) and cell apoptosis. Furthermore, in vivo experiments indicated that the combination of intratumoral injection of mBPEI-PEG-rGO-DOX and local laser irradiation nearly ablated hepatocarcinoma. In conclusion, this new drug delivery system provided an alternative for combinational photothermal and chemotherapy against hepatocarcinoma.

Background:The world is presently facing the challenges posed by COVID-19(2019-nCoV),especially in the public health sector,and these challenges are dangerous to both health and *** disease results in an acute respiratory infection that may result in pain and *** Pakistan,the disease curve shows a vertical trend by almost 256K established cases of the diseases and 6035 documented death cases till August 5,***:The primary purpose of this study is to provide the statistical model to predict the trend of COVID-19 death cases in *** age and gender of COVID-19 victims were represented using a descriptive ***:ology:Three regression models,which include Linear,logarithmic,and quadratic,were employed in this study for the modelling of COVID-19 death cases in *** three models were compared based on R2,Adjusted R2,AIC,and BIC *** data utilized for the modelling was obtained from the National Institute of Health of Pakistan from February 26,2020 to August 5,***:The finding deduced after the prediction modelling is that the rate of mortality would decrease by the end of *** total number of deaths will reach its maximum point;then,it will gradually *** indicates that the curve of total deaths will continue to be flat,i.e.,it will shift to be constant,which is also the upper bound of the underlying function of absolute death.

Lanostane Tetracyclic Triterpenoids as Important Sources for Anti-Inflammatory Drug Discovery

Inflammation is a defensive reaction of the human body to numerous detrimental stimuli,including physical trauma,noxious chemicals,as well as microbial *** inflammation is the pathological basis of multiple diseases,such as rheumatoid arthritis(RA),neurodegenerative diseases,liver disease,and lung *** triterpenoids are natural tetracyclic triterpenoids with significant anti-inflammatory *** extensive review of the published literature regarding the phytochemistry and anti-inflammatory pharmacology of lanostane triterpenoids has been performed and analyzed using several search engines,such as SciFinder,Web of Science,Scopus,PubMed,Google Scholar,and *** review is devoted to naturally occurring lanostane-type triterpenes with anti-inflammatory activity,including their sources,biosynthesis,and mechanism of *** review also discusses the inflammation-related diseases and the clinical significance of traditional Chinese medicine as multi-target therapeutic agents for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory *** the past 30 years,more than 100 new lanostane-type triterpenes have been reported from the families Schisandraceae,Ganodermataceae,and *** compounds,fomitopinic acid A,fomitosides E and F,obtusifoliol,4α,l4α-dimethyl-5α-ergosta-7,9(11),24(28)-trien-3β-ol,and gramisterol exhibited the most potent anti-inflammatory activity against cyclooxygenase-1(COX-1)and COX-2,with IC50 values ranging from 0.087 to 1.15μ*** of these compounds exhibited significant activity by mediating the inhibition of the pro-inflammatory cytokines,inducible nitric oxide synthase,and COX-2 *** review provides a basis for identifying anti-inflammatory drugs with high selectivity,high potency,and few adverse effects from lanostane-type triterpenes.

目的研究土家族药物扣子七Panax japonicus var. major中三萜皂苷类成分,对其抑制肿瘤细胞增殖活性进行筛选,并初步探讨化合物结构与活性的关系。方法应用多种色谱方法对土家族药物扣子七正丁醇部位进行分离,所分离化合物运用核磁共振方法进行结构鉴定,应用MTT法测定分离化合物对体外培养人肿瘤细胞增殖的影响。结果从扣子七根茎正丁醇部位分离得到14个三萜皂苷,分别鉴定为竹节参皂苷IVa甲酯(1)、竹节参皂苷Ⅳa丁酯(2)、竹节参皂苷Ⅳ(3)、竹节参皂苷Ⅳa(4)、28-去糖竹节参皂苷Ⅳa(5)、齐墩果酸-3-O-β-D-(6′-甲酯)-吡喃葡萄糖醛酸苷(6)、(24R)-珠子参苷R1(7)、(24R)-拟人参皂苷F11(8)、(20S)-三七皂苷R2(9)、(20S)-人参皂苷Rg2(10)、人参皂苷Rg1(11)、人参皂苷Re(12)、人参皂苷Rd(13)、竹节参皂苷V甲酯(14)。活性研究结果显示,化合物5和6对胃癌BGC-823细胞、结肠癌HCT-116细胞、宫颈癌HeLa细胞及肝癌Hep G2细胞均显示了较强的活性,呈良好的剂量依赖关系,其中化合物5对BGC-823、HCT-116细胞的IC50分别为9.94、14.17μmol/L,化合物6对肝癌HepG2细胞的抑制作用最强(IC50=12.70μmol/L)。结论首次从扣子七中分离得到化合物6并报道了其光谱数据;其部分化学成分显示出抗肿瘤活性,其抗肿瘤活性与齐墩果烷型皂苷密切相关,且活性强弱可能与C-28取代基有关联,相关抗肿瘤机制值得进一步研究。

Objective Tu Jia ethnomedicine is a unique medical system inherited and adhibited by Tu Jia minority living in central-south China. Panax japonicus C. A. Mey.(Bai San Qi,白三七) is recognized as an effective and rare medicinal plant to treat weakness, fatigue and rheumatism in Tu Jia ethnomedicine. This paper is to discover more substance evidence for the application of Tu Jia ethnomedicine. Methods Column chromatography and preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was applied for isolation and purification;1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 1H-1H COSY, HSQC and HMBC NMR spectra were applied for structure identification;Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolim (MTT) assays were applied for cytotoxicity evaluation. Results Totally 12 known compounds were isolated by column chromatography and preparative HPLC from rhizomes of Panax japonicus C. A. Mey.(Bai San Qi,白三七). Structures of these compounds were identified by their NMR spectra. All the 12 compounds were triterpenoid saponins. Five of them were oleanolic acid type, and the remaining 7 were dammarane type. Eleven compounds were assayed for their cytotoxic activity against Hep G2 human liver cancer cell lines and BGC-823 human gastric cancer cell lines. Three of the 11 showed relatively dominant cytotoxicity against these cell lines. Conclusions A total of 12 known compounds have been identified from Panax japonicus C. A. Mey.(Bai San Qi,白三七);NMR spectra of compounds with similar skeletons showed regular characteristics;3 compounds showed relatively dominant cytotoxicity against Hep G2 and BGC-823 cancer cell lines, and the result can be valued as weak while setting the taxol as a positive control.

The past two decades witnessed a broad-increase in web technology and on-line *** the broadband confinements is viewed as one of the most significant variables that prompted new gaming *** immense utilization of web applications and games additionally prompted growth in the handled devices and moving the limited gaming experience from user devices to online cloud *** internet capabilities are enhanced new ways of gaming are being used to improve the gaming *** cloud-based video gaming,game engines are hosted in cloud gaming data centers,and compressed gaming scenes are rendered to the players over the internet with updated *** such systems,the task of transferring games and video compression imposes huge computational complexity is required on cloud *** basic problems in cloud gaming in particular are high encoding time,latency,and low frame rates which require a new methodology for a better *** improve the bandwidth issue in cloud games,the compression of video sequences requires an alternative mechanism to improve gaming adaption without input *** this paper,the proposed improved methodology is used for automatic unnecessary scene detection,scene removing and bit rate reduction using an adaptive algorithm for object detection in a game *** a result,simulations showed without much impact on the players’quality experience,the selective object encoding method and object adaption technique decrease the network latency issue,reduce the game streaming bitrate at a remarkable scale on different *** proposed algorithm was evaluated for three video game *** this paper,achieved 14.6%decrease in encoding and 45.6%decrease in bit rate for the first video game scene.
