Immediate in-hospital outcomes after percutaneous revascularization of acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock

Effective removal of chromium,copper,and nickel heavy metal ions from industrial electroplating wastewater by in situ oxidative adsorption using sodium hypochlorite as oxidant and sodium trititanate nanorod as adsorbent

Sodium hypochlorite and synthesized sodium trititanate nanorods(Na_(2)Ti_(3)O_(7),186 nm×1270 nm)were used as the oxidant and adsorbents for in situ oxidative adsorption treatment of actual electroplating wastewater containing Cr(Ⅵ)(2.6-5.2 mg·L^(-1)),Cu^(2+)(2.7-5.4 mg·L^(-1)),and Ni^(2+)(0.2705-0.541 mg·L^(-1))ions at pH of 8.8-9.1 and 20-60℃.The as-synthesized sodium trititanate nanorods were characterized by XRD,HRTEM,N2 adsorption/desorption,SEM,EDX,and zeta potential *** concentrations of heavy metal ions in wastewater were analyzed by ICP *** in situ oxidative adsorption treatment under the concentrations of 25 g·L^(-1) for sodium hypochlorite and 125 mg·L^(-1) for sodium trititanate nanorods at 60℃ for 5 h,the heavy metal ion concentrations could be reduced from initial value of 2.6 to final value of 1.92 mg·L^(-1) for Cr(Ⅵ),3.6 to 0.17 mg·L^(-1) for Cu^(2+),and from 0.2705 to 0.097 mg·L^(-1) for Ni^(2+),***(Ⅵ),Cu^(2+) and Ni^(2+) ions could be effectively removed by the in situ oxidative adsorption *** in situ oxidative adsorption processes of Cr(Ⅵ),Cu^(2+) and Ni^(2+) ions are satisfactorily simulated by the pseudo-second order adsorption kinetics and Langmuir adsorption isotherm,*** thermodynamics analyses reveal that the oxidative adsorption processes of Cr(Ⅵ),Cu^(2+) and Ni^(2+) ions are spontaneous and *** oxidation degree of metalcontained complexes influences the values of thermodynamics functions.

2D Carbon Fiber Reinforced High Density Polyethylene Multi-Layered Laminated Composite Panels:Structural,Mechanical,Thermal,and Morphological Profile

Carbon fiber reinforced high density polyethylene multi-layered laminated composite panels（HDPE/CF MLCP） with excellent in-plane properties along transverse direction have been formulated. Composite architectures with carbon fiber（CF） designed in 2D layout in conventional composites can alleviate their properties in thickness direction, but all attempts so far developed have achieved restrained success. Here,we have exposed an approach to the high strength composite challenge, without altering the 2D stack design on the basis of concept of fiber reinforced laminated composites that would provide enhanced mechanical and thermal properties along transverse direction. CF sheets allowed the buckling of adjoining plies in 2D MLCP. We fabricated 2D MLCP by stacking the alternative CF and HDPE layers under different loading conditions, which resulted in high strength composites. These plies of CF and HDPE served as unit cells for MLCP, with CF offering much-needed fracture toughness and hardness to these *** 2D HDPE/CF MLCP, we demonstrated noteworthy improvement in physical and chemical interaction between CF and HDPE, in-plane fracture strain, flexural strength（30.684 MPa）, bending modulus（7436.254 MPa）, thermal stability（40.94%）, and surface morphology, upon increasing the CF layers up to twenty, enabling these composites truly for high temperature and high strength applications.

UV Assisted Preliminary DNA Binding Studies and Single-crystal X-ray Structure of 4-{(4-Nitrophenyl-sulfonamido)methyl}cyclohexanecarboxylic Acid

A new sulfonamide, 4-{（4-nitrophenylsulfonamido）methyl}cyclohexanecarboxylic acid（C14H18N2O6S）, has been synthesized by the reaction of tranexamic acid and 4-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride in basic medium at room temperature. The molecular structure was determined by FT-IR, NMR, elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray technique. X-ray diffraction shows that the compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 13.5980（7）, b = 4.9877（2）, c = 23.3878（13） A, β = 93.254（3）°, Z = 4, V = 1583.67（14） A3, μ = 0.237 mm-1, F（000） = 720, R = 0.0471 and w R = 0.1182. The molecules are related by inversion and paired into dimers via C–H…O interactions. The dimmers are interlinked due to strong N–H…O bonds, where O-atoms are of sulfonyl groups. The molecules are stabilized in the form of infinite two-dimensional network with base vectors [0 1 0] and [0 0 –1] in the plane（1 0 2）. The existence of good intermolecular interactions suggests the biological importance of the synthesized molecule. The compound was screened for its interaction with FS-DNA using UV-visible spectroscopy. UV-visible spectroscopic results depict that the compound interacts with DNA by mixed binding mode intercalation along with hydrogen bonding. Negative values of ΔG（–23.34, –17.79 k J·mol-1） indicate spontaneity of the compound-DNA adduct formation.

Factors affecting electric vehicle acceptance,energy demand and CO_(2)emissions in Pakistan

This work aims to investigate the factors accelerating electric vehicle(EV)acceptance at the consumer end in Pakistan and analyzes the implications for policymakers for a fast-track EV *** study further in-vestigates the high EV penetration scenario resulting from the technology acceptance model(TAM's 80%EV)and its impact on energy demand and CO_(2)*** study design used a quantitative analysis method with the survey as an instrument for data collection regarding EV *** model under investigation was adapted from the famous Technology-Acceptance Models(TAMs)and modified with other significant predictors evidenced in the *** and stepwise regression were performed with a multicollinearity check for model hypothesis *** of six predictors,only four factors were significant in accelerating the EV *** policies were found to be highly significant,followed by environmental concern,facilitating conditions and perceived ease of *** research then used exponential smoothing forecasts for transport demand and developed an EV penetration scenario based on modified TAM *** results highlight the significant in-crease in transport demand and the opportunity for Pakistan to limit passenger transport emissions to 36.6 MT instead of 61.6 MT by 2040.

The detection of brain disease is an essential issue in medical and research *** learning techniques have shown promising results in detecting and diagnosing brain diseases using magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)*** techniques involve training neural networks on large datasets of MRI images,allowing the networks to learn patterns and features indicative of different brain ***,several challenges and limitations still need to be addressed further to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of these *** paper implements a Feature Enhanced Stacked Auto Encoder(FESAE)model to detect brain *** standard stack auto encoder’s results are trivial and not robust enough to boost the system’s ***,the standard Stack Auto Encoder(SAE)is replaced with a Stacked Feature Enhanced Auto Encoder with a feature enhancement function to efficiently and effectively get non-trivial features with less activation energy froman *** proposed model consists of four ***,pre-processing is performed to remove noise,and the greyscale image is converted to Red,Green,and Blue(RGB)to enhance feature details for discriminative feature ***,feature Extraction is performed to extract significant features for classification using DiscreteWavelet Transform(DWT)and ***,classification is performed to classify MRI images into four major classes:Normal,Tumor,Brain Stroke,and Alzheimer’***,the FESAE model outperforms the state-of-theart,machine learning,and deep learning methods such as Artificial Neural Network(ANN),SAE,Random Forest(RF),and Logistic Regression(LR)by achieving a high accuracy of 98.61% on a dataset of 2000 MRI *** proposed model has significant potential for assisting radiologists in diagnosing brain diseases more accurately and improving patient outcomes.

The diagnosis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease only on the basis of laboratory parameter score such as Hepatic Steatosis Index which includes liver enzymes,gender,basal metabolic index,and presence of diabetic mellitus is not sufficient to exclude other causes of deranged liver enzymes especially medications and autoimmune related liver *** the guideline suggests ultrasound is the preferred first-line diagnostic procedure for imaging of NAFLD,as it provides additional diagnostic information and the combination of biomarkers/scores and transient elastography might confer additional diagnostic accuracy and evident from previous similar studies too.

Structure Elucidation and Biological Screening of Bis(4-{[(E)-(2-Hydroxybenzylidene)amino]methyl}-cyclohexane-carboxylato-O)-triaqua-cadmium

Using a bidentate ligand, a Schiff base 4-（{[（Z）-（2-hydroxyphenyl）methyldene]amino}methyl）cyclohexanecarboxylic acid, complex I（ML2, where M = Cd（Ⅱ）） was synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. It crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group C2/c, M_r = 685.04, 0.34 mm × 0.26 mm × 0.14 mm, a = 54.050（3）, b = 6.1220（3）, c = 9.5081（5） A, β = 90.229（2）°, Z = 4, C_（30） H_（40） CdN_2 O_9 and V = 3146.2（3） A^3. Complex I was screened for its bactericidal activity against four bacterial strains Chromohalobactersalexigens, Chromohalobacterisraelensis, Halomonashalofila and Halomonassalina and fungicidal activity against Aspergillusnigerand Aspergillusflavus. Antimicrobial activity results showed that the synthesized complex displayed good anti-fungal activity against two fungal strains. It was found to be inactive against four different bacterial strains analyzed and was negative for bactericidal effect.

In recent years,the integration of stochastic techniques,especially those based on artificial neural networks,has emerged as a pivotal advancement in the field of computational fluid *** techniques offer a powerful framework for the analysis of complex fluid flow phenomena and address the uncertainties inherent in fluid dynamics *** this trend,the current investigation portrays the design and construction of an important technique named swarming optimized neuroheuristic intelligence with the competency of artificial neural networks to analyze nonlinear viscoelastic magneto-hydrodynamic Prandtl-Eyring fluid flow model,with diffusive magnetic layers effect along an extended *** currently designed computational technique is established using inverse multiquadric radial basis activation function through the hybridization of a well-known global searching technique of particle swarm optimization and sequential quadratic programming,a technique capable of rapid convergence *** most appropriate scaling group involved transformations that are implemented on governing equations of the suggested fluidic model to convert it from a system of nonlinear partial differential equations into a dimensionless form of a third-order nonlinear ordinary differential *** transformed/reduced fluid flow model is solved for sundry variations of physical quantities using the designed scheme and outcomes are matched consistently with Adam's numerical technique with negligible magnitude of absolute errors and mean square ***,it is revealed that the velocity of the fluid depreciates in the presence of a strong magnetic field *** efficacy of the designed solver is depicted evidently through rigorous statistical observations via exhaustive numerical experimentation of the fluidic problem.

Effect of Cumulative Nanosecond Laser Pulses on the Plasma Emission Intensity and Surface Morphology of Pt-and Ag-Ion Deposited Silicon

In this work, the laser induced plasma plume characteristics and surface morphology of Pt- and Ag-ion deposited silicon were studied. The deposited silicon was exposed to cumulative laser pulses. The plasma plume images produced by each laser shot were captured through a computer controlled image capturing system and analyzed with image-J software. The integrated optical emission intensity of both samples showed an increasing trend with increasing pulses. Agion deposited silicon showed higher optical emission intensity as compared to Pt-ion deposited silicon, suggesting that more damage occurred to the silicon by Ag ions, which was confirmed by SRIM/TRIM simulations. The surface morphologies of both samples were examined by optical microscope showing thermal, exfoliational and hydrodynamical sputtering processes along with the re-deposition of the material, debris and heat affected zones＇ formation. The crater of Ption deposited silicon was deeper but had less lateral damage than Agion deposited silicon. The novel results clearly indicated that the ion deposited silicon surface produced incubation centers, which led to more absorption of incident light resulting into a higher emission intensity from the plasma plume and deeper crater formation as compared to pure silicon. The approach can be effectively utilized in the laser induced breakdown spectroscopy technique, which endures poor limits of detection.
