Construction of macro-materials with highly oriented microstructures and well-connected interfaces between building blocks is significant for a variety of applications. However, it is still challenging to confine the desired structures. Thus, well-defined building blocks would be crucial to address this issue. Herein, we present a facile process based on 1.8 nm Pd nanoclusters （NCs） to achieve centimeter-size assemblages with aligned honeycomb structures, where the diameter of a single tubular moiety is -4 μm. Layered and disordered porous assemblages were also obtained by modulating the temperature in this system. The reconciled interactions between the NCs were crucial to the assemblages. As a comparison, 14 nm Pd nanoparticles formed only aggregates. This work highlights the approach of confining the size of the building blocks in order to better control the assembly process and improve the stability of the structures.

In this paper, we develop a fractional-order smoking model by considering relapse class. First, we formulate the model and find the unique positive solution for the proposed model. Then we apply the Griinwald-Letnikov approximation in the place of maintaining a general quadrature formula approach to the Riemann-Liouville integral definition of the fractional derivative. Building on this foundation avoids the need for domain trans-formations, contour integration or involved theory to compute accurate approximate solutions of fractional-order giving up smoking model A comparative study between Griinwald-Letnikov method and Runge-Kutta method is presented in the case of integer-order derivative. Finally, we present the obtained results graphically.

In this paper, we consider the giving up smoking model. First, we present the giving up smoking model in fractional order. Then the homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to compute an approximate and analytical solution of the model in fractional order. The obtained results are compaired with those obtained by forth order Runge-Kutta method and nonstandard numerical method in the integer case. Finally, we present some numerical results.

In this paper, we consider an SIR-model for which the interaction term is the square root of the susceptible and infected individuals in the form of fractional order differential equations. First the non-negative solution of the model in fractional order is presented. Then the local stability analysis of the model in fractional order is discussed. Finally, the general solutions are presented and a discrete-time finite difference scheme is constructed using the nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) method. A comparative study of the classical Runge-Kutta method and ODE45 is presented in the case of integer order derivatives. The solutions obtained are presented graphically.
