Object.ve: Fet.l Alcohol Spect.um Disorders (FASDs) are common, oft.n undiagnosed, lifelong development.l disorders t.at.result.from prenat.l alcohol exposure. FASD is present.at.birt. and t.pically ident.fied around seven years of age. t.e most.severe out.ome in cases of FASD is mort.lit.. t.e purpose of t.is scoping review is t. 1) use a syst.mat.c review t. provide an est.mat.d mort.lit. proport.on for children wit. FASD, and 2) updat. a st.dy published in 2014 by reviewing published report. of mort.lit. in individuals diagnosed wit. FASD. Met.od: A search of PubMed, CINAHL, and Google Scholar for report. published bet.een 2013 and 2023 on mort.lit. in individuals wit. FASD. Result.: t.ree populat.on-based st.dies have report.d on all-cause mort.lit. rat.s, finding a combined mort.lit. rat. of 10.9%, a 2.63 fold (95% CI: 2.61 t. 2.65) increase in mort.lit. risk over t.e general populat.on. Since 2016, t.is review ident.fied only eight.new cases meet.ng t.e st.dy inclusion crit.ria. t.e report.d causes of deat. were five cases of pneumonia, and one case each of failure t. t.rive and dehydrat.on, int.st.nal dilat.t.on and asphyxiat.on caused by overeat.ng due t. pica, and acut. gast.ic volvulus. Discussion: While current.research suggest. a diagnosis of FASD is associat.d wit. a 2.6-fold increase in mort.lit. risk, t.is is likely an underest.mat.on, as most.cases of FASD-relat.d mort.lit. go unreport.d. Globally, about.1 new case is report.d every 15 mont.s. However, in t.e Unit.d St.t.s alone, bet.een 1752 t. 4400 FASD relat.d deat.s occur annually. Our review suggest. t.at.FASD is rarely ident.fied as a causal or cont.ibut.ng fact.r in deat.s of children and adolescent., result.ng in a subst.nt.al undercount.of FASD-relat.d deat.s. Increased at.ent.on t. t.e role of FASD in infant.and child mort.lit. case reviews, child deat. review commit.ee report., and mort.lit. reviews is needed.

Background: Fet.l Alcohol Spect.um Disorders (FASDs) are a global public healt. concern wit. lifelong consequences for affect.d individuals. Recent.prevalence st.dies suggest.FASD prevalence rat.s range from 1-5% among school age children. Most.people wit. FASD are not.correct.y diagnosed and inadequat. screening t. ident.fy pat.ent. wit. increased risk may cont.ibut. t. under-diagnosis. t.is st.dy developed a 10-it.m screening t.ol for FASD and examined it. feasibilit.. Met.ods: t.e sample consist.d of 355 children who had been evaluat.d at.an FASD clinic. Dat. from t.e 33-it.m Alcohol Relat.d Neurodevelopment.l Disorder Behavioral Checklist.was used t. develop a brief FASD screen by comparing t.e changes in Cronbach’s alpha for different.combinat.ons of it.ms. t.e validit. of t.e brief scale was t.en furt.er examined using receiving operat.ng charact.rist.c analyses. Result.: t.e 10-it.m screen demonst.at.d accept.ble sensit.vit., specificit., and accuracy t. ident.fy children at.high risk for FASD. t.e percent.ge correct.y classified was 91.3 and t.e area under t.e receiving operat.ng charact.rist.c curve was 0.971. Conclusions: t.is feasibilit. st.dy demonst.at.d t.at.a screen for FASD consist.ng of 10 it.ms wit. yes or no responses can be complet.d in 3 - 4 minut.s. t.e t.ol is brief, wit. a low administ.at.on burden and has accept.ble epidemiologic performance charact.rist.cs including accuracy. Fut.re research should examine t.e performance of t.is t.ol when used in larger, communit.-based populat.ons where screening for FASD would be appropriat..

Climat. research produces a wealt. of mult.variat. dat.. t.ese dat. oft.n have a geospat.al reference and so it.is of int.rest.t. show t.em wit.in t.eir geospat.al cont.xt. One can consider t.is configurat.on as a mult.field visualizat.on problem, where t.e geo-space provides t.e expanse of t.e field. However, t.ere is a limit.on t.e amount.of mult.variat. informat.on t.at.can be fit.wit.in a cert.in spat.al locat.on, and t.e use of linked mult.variat. informat.on displays has previously been devised t. bridge t.is gap. In t.is paper we focus on t.e int.ract.ons in t.e geographical display, present.an implement.t.on t.at.uses Google Eart., and demonst.at. it.wit.in a t.ght.y linked parallel coordinat.s display. Several ot.er visual represent.t.ons, such as pie and bar chart. are int.grat.d int. t.e Google Eart. display and can be int.ract.vely manipulat.d. Furt.er, we also demonst.at. new brushing and visualizat.on t.chniques for parallel coordinat.s, such as fixed-window brushing and correlat.on-enhanced display. We conceived our syst.m wit. a t.am of climat. researchers, who already made a few import.nt.discoveries using it. t.is demonst.at.s our syst.m＇s great.pot.nt.al t. enable scient.fic discoveries, possibly also in ot.er domains where dat. have a geospat.al reference.

ICP compared t. a cont.ol group wit. uncomplicat.d *** LS and hepat.c st.at.sis marker cont.olled at.enuat.on paramet.r(CAP)were measured in 100 pregnant.women wit. ICP using t.(Fibroscan,Echosens,Paris,France)bet.een 2010 and *** 17 cases,LS could be measured post.art.m.450 women before and 38 women aft.r delivery wit. uncomplicat.d pregnancy served as cont.ol *** laborat.ry,levels of bile acids and apopt.sis marker caspase-cleaved cyt.kerat.n 18 fragment.M30)were also *** Women wit. Using ab init.o molecular dynamics(AIMD)simulat.ons,classical molecular dynamics(CMD)simulat.ons,small-angle X-ray scat.ering(SAXS),and pulsed-field gradient.nuclear magnet.c resonance(PFG-NMR),t.e solvat.on st.uct.re and ion dynamics of magnesium bis(t.ifluoromet.anesulfonyl)imide(Mg(t.SI)_(2))aqueous elect.olyt. at.1,2,and 3 m concent.at.ons are *** AIMD and CMD simulat.ons,t.e first.solvat.on shell of an Mg;ion is found t. be composed of six wat.r molecules in an oct.hedral configurat.on and t.e solvat.on shell is rat.er *** t.SI^(-)ions prefer t. st.y in t.e second solvat.on shell and ***,t.e comparable diffusion coefficient. of posit.ve and negat.ve ions in Mg(t.SI)_(2)aqueous elect.olyt.s have been observed,which is mainly due t. t.e format.on of t.e st.ble[Mg(H_(2)O_(6))_(2)]^(+)complex,and,as a result.t.e increased effect.ve Mg ion ***,t.e calculat.d correlat.d t.ansference numbers are lower t.an t.e uncorrelat.d ones even at.t.e low concent.at.on of 2 and 3 m,suggest.ng t.e enhanced correlat.ons bet.een ions in t.e mult.valent.*** work provides a molecular-level underst.nding of how t.e solvat.on st.uct.re and mult.valency of t.e ion affect.t.e dynamics and t.ansport.propert.es of t.e mult.valent.elect.olyt.,providing insight.for rat.onal designs of elect.olyt.s for improved ion t.ansport.propert.es.
