This study investigates the X-ray properties and evolution of Type II supernovae (SNe II) observed by Swift, exam.ning variations am.ng supernovae and exploring their X-ray characteristics over tim.. We present the first X-ray study of the Type IIp supernova SN 2008ij using data from.the Swift X-ray m.ssion. This investigation focuses on its spectral properties, identifying an X-ray flux of 1.20 (+0.11, −0.10) × 10−13 erg/cm./s and a plasm. tem.erature of 4.76 (+1.22, −0.83) keV. Our study m.rks an advancem.nt in understanding SN 2008ij, providing crucial results into its X-ray em.ssion characteristics. These results lay the groundwork for future studies of Type IIp supernovae, offering a foundation for exploring their evolutionary and physical processes.

Adapted European seabass(Dicentrarchus labrax L.)larvae at 25 days post-hatching(dph)with a prim.ry weight and length of 23 m. and 9.92 m.,start the weaning up to 46 dph using the weaning m.cro-diet(54%crude protein from.fish m.al,powder m.lk,and poultry egg)concurrently with Artem.a enriched with fortification em.lsions(0.6 g/L)of DHA selco®as a control group(DHAS)or Fish oil+20%Vitam.n C(FOVC),or Fish oil+20%Vitam.n E(FOVE),or Fish oil+10%Vit.C+10%Vit.E(FOCE),or Fish oil only(FO).At 46 dph,groups of larvae fed enriched Artem.a with DHAS and FOVE exhibited the highest final body weight,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the lowest feed conversion ***,larvae in FOVC displayed the lowest final body weight,total length,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the highest feed conversion *** histological assessm.nt exhibited no pathological alteration as well as an im.rovem.nt in the structure with DHAS,FOVE,FOVC,and FOCE co-additives com.ared to *** peroxidase enzym.(GPx)recorded the highest rates(Pm.a supplem.nted with DHAS and FOVE followed by FOCE and *** the lowest record for GPx activity was noted in the FO *** conclusion,Using augm.nted Artem.a nauplii with fish oil+vitam.n E in single or in com.anion with vitam.n C as cheap antioxidants support *** larval growth,survival,and antioxidant efficacy during the critical weaning period.

Deep phenotyping and genetic characterization of individuals are fundam.ntal to assessing the m.tabolic status and determ.ning nutrition-specific requirem.nts. This study aim.d to ascertain the utm.st effectiveness of personalized interventions by aligning dietary adjustm.nts with both the genotype and m.tabolotype of individuals. Therefore， we assessed here the usefulness of a polygenic score (PGS) characterizing a potential pro-inflam.atory profile (PGSi) as a nutrigenetic tool to discern individuals from.the Danish PREVENTOm.CS cohort that could better respond to precision nutrition (PN) plans， specifically targeted at counteracting the low-grade inflam.atory profile typically found in obesity. The cohort followed a PN plan to counteract the pro-inflam.atory profile (PNi group) or generic dietary recom.endations (Control) for 10 weeks. PGSi was applied for genetic stratification (Low/High). The effects of the intervention on anthropom.trics and biom.rkers related to inflam.atory profile and carbohydrate m.tabolism.were assessed. Around 30% of subjects had a high genetic predisposition to pro-inflam.atory status (high-PGSi). These individuals dem.nstrated the m.st effective response to the dietary plan， experiencing im.roved body com.osition， with significant decreases in body weight (△: -4.84%; p=0.039) and body fat (△: -4.86%; p=0.007)， and beneficial changes in pro- and anti-inflam.atory biom.rkers， with significant increases in IL-10 (△: 71.3%; p=0.025) and decreases in TNF-α (△: -3.0%; p=0.048)， CRP (△: -31.1%)， ICAm. (△: -5.8%)， and m.P1 (△: -4.2%) circulating levels， com.ared to low-PGSi individuals. Both phenotypic and genetic stratification contributed to a better understanding of m.tabolic heterogeneity in response to diet. This approach allows for refinem.nt of the prediction of individual requirem.nts and potentially for better m.nagem.nt of obesity.

Background: Non-im.lantable bone anchored hearing devices (BCHDs) are utilized for patients with conductive or m.xed hearing loss who are unsuitable for conventional hearing aids or have unresolved m.ddle ear issues. These devices can be surgically im.lanted or attached using adhesive plates, dental sticks, elastic headbands, or bone conduction spectacles. Optim.l fitting of bone conduction spectacles requires appropriate fram. selection and contact pressure in the tem.oral and m.stoid areas. The ANSI S3.6 and DIN EN ISO 389-3 standards recom.end a contact area of approxim.tely 1.75 cm. and a m.xim.m.force of 5.4 N for effective sound transm.ssion and com.ort. m.thods: This study aim.d to evaluate the technical fit and m.chanical stability of universal bone conduction hearing spectacles com.ared to established system.. A Sen-Pressure 02 thin-film.sensor connected to an Arduino Uno R3 board m.asured contact force in the tem.oral and m.stoid areas. Several BCHDs were tested, including the Bruckhoff la belle BC D50/70, Radioear B71 headset, Radioear B71 elastic headband, Cochlear Baha SoundArc m. and Cochlear Baha elastic headband, on a PVC artificial head, with data analyzed using ANOVA and LSD post hoc tests. Results: The la belle BC D50/70 spectacles showed com.arable contact force to established BCHDs, ensuring adequate sound transm.ssion and com.ort. Significant differences were observed between the system., with the Radioear B71 headset exhibiting the highest forces. The la belle BC D50/70 had sim.lar forces to the Radioear B71 elastic headband. Conclusion: The la belle BC D50/70 universal bone conduction hearing spectacles are a technically equivalent alternative to established BCHDs, m.intaining pressure below 5.4 N. Future research should explore the im.act of different contact forces on perform.nce and com.ort, and the integration of force control in m.dified spectacles. The accelerated growth of the vehicular fleet, the m.dernization of large urban centers, and the few adjustm.nts to the road network in Fortaleza have intensified the problem. of traffic and em.ssions of atm.spheric pollutants, highlighting the necessity for strategic urban planning initiatives to address the escalating issues of traffic and pollution. With the objective of analyzing the indices of concentrations of atm.spheric pollutants and estim.ting how these levels can affect hum.n health, this work consists of a study of the analysis of air quality in the intense trade region of Fortaleza. For this, the analysis zone was divided into three perim.ters (m.jor - m.dium.- m.nor), where each perim.ter was analyzed at 7 am. 12 noon and 5 pm. Concentrations of the type of O3, particulate m.tter (Pm.sub>2.5 and Pm.sub>10), CO2 and HCHO were collected. Our results dem.nstrate that m.st of the analyses are within the lim.ts of current legislation;however, at certain tim.s and perim.ters, the analyses of CO2 and HCHO exceeded the established lim.ts. In view of the above, we conclude that public policies to control air quality are necessary to reduce the dam.ge to hum.n health and the environm.nt caused by pollutants.

Surface tem.erature and vegetation are the m.jor land cover changes that significantly affect on the therm.l environm.nt. In the present study, rem.te sensing techniques were applied to identify the relationship between anthropogenic activities and the therm.l environm.nt in the North Gulf of Suez area. Results have indicated that the urbanization and agricultural expansion have been increased during the last 25 years. Although urban areas increased from.49 km. in 1987 to 57 km. in 2012, the urban heat island-range declined from.very high and high, to m.derate and low. An expansion in cultivated areas from.3 km. in 1987 to 26 km. in 2012 was responsible for the decline. The results of this study provided valuable inform.tion for understanding the local therm.l changes that associate rapid urbanization and expansion of cultivated areas. Consequently, this work recom.ends that proper planning and m.nagem.nt regim.s for land use and cover changes associated with rapid urbanization will result in positive im.acts on the local clim.te and environm.nt.
