Zawita natural forest has recently has been subject to mass recreational activities during spring that have denuded large areas of the *** was thus essential to assess regeneration before designing optimizing *** this end,we studied the overstory canopy and microhabitat conditions for recruitment of Pinus brutia Ten in 10 plots(20×25 m)on the southern aspects where the Zawita natural forest is still *** total,1540 regenerating *** were recorded,854 seedlings,597 saplings,and 89 *** and saplings were more frequent beyond the canopy than under the canopy of the parent *** requirements differed between seedlings and *** probability of the occurrence of seedlings was negatively correlated with increasing litter depth and increasing soil *** density of saplings only showed a positive significant correlation with increasing *** nearest neighbor index showed a trend toward a positive spatial association between understory shrubs with their neighboring seedlings at a mean distance of 1.6 ***,the study highlighted the requirements for seedling regeneration as a relatively open canopy cover,a light understory litter layer,and noncompacted *** results are a step towards designing effective management and restoration programs.

Determining the adsorption of shale gas on complex surfaces remains a challenge in molecular simulation *** essentially stem from the need to create a realistic shale structure model in terms of mineral heterogeneityand ***,precise characterization of the competitive adsorption of hydrogen andmethane in shale generally requires the experimental determination of the related adsorptive *** thisstudy,the adsorption of adsorbates,methane(CH_(4)),and hydrogen(H_(2))on heterogeneous shale surface modelsof kaolinite,Orthoclase,Muscovite,Mica,C_(60),and Butane has been simulated in the frame of a moleculardynamic’s numerical *** results show that these behaviors are influenced by pressure and *** increasing the pressure from 500 to 2000 psi,the sorption effect for CH_(4)significantly increasesbut shows a decline at a certain stage(if compared to H_(2)).The research findings also indicate that raw shalehas a higher capacity to adsorb CH_(4)compared to ***,in shale,this difference is negligible.

Despite its high risk of leading to permanent visual dysfunction,glaucoma remains underdiagnosed in primary care *** 11%of glaucoma patients in Saudi Arabia end up with bilateral *** scoping review investigates and presents results on the glaucoma profile,including its prevalence,knowledge,attitude,and practice of Saudi Arabians towards the *** online search using four databases through online software(***)was performed to extract the relevant *** of 76 records,21 articles were eligible for the *** included studies were published between the years 2014 and *** studies were in Riyadh city,followed by *** participants(n=11388)were adults>18 years old,and male participants were generally higher than *** findings showed poor knowledge of glaucoma among the general population,while the knowledge among glaucoma patients was *** attitude was positive,while the compliance and practice were *** educational programs about glaucoma,its risk to the eyes,and the overall quality of life are highly recommended.

Study of Double Diffusivity and Heat Conducting Phenomena under the Casson Nanofluid Flowing through a Vertical Peristaltic Tube

The current article discusses the peristaltic flow of the Casson fluid model with implications for double diffusivity,radiative flux,variable conductivity and *** study offers a thorough understanding of the functioning and illnesses of embryological organs,renal systems,respiratory tracts,etc.,that may be useful to medical professionals and *** main purpose of the study is to evaluate the consequences of double diffusivity on the peristaltic flow of *** implementing the appropriate transformation,the governed differential equations of momentum,temperature,concentration and double diffusivity are worked out *** lowest Reynolds number Re→0 and highest wavelength�→∞are *** ramifications of pertinent parameters on the velocity field,heat,chemical reaction rate and double diffusivity are discussed by plotting the graphs using the bvp4c *** analysis shows that solutal and thermal Grashof numbers enhance the motion of fluid flow over the pumping area of the peristaltic *** activation energy and Lewis number indicate the opposite impact on concentration *** to variations in thermophoresis and the Brownian parameter,the heating process slows during the pumping section and accelerates during the free pumping *** graph of double diffusivity initially goes upward by escalating Dufour and Brownian parameters and then moves down over the right sinusoidal geometry.

The RPL(IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks)protocol is essential for efficient communi-cation within the Internet of Things(IoT)*** its significance,RPL’s susceptibility to attacks remains a *** paper presents a comprehensive simulation-based analysis of the RPL protocol’s vulnerability to the decreased rank attack in both static andmobilenetwork *** employ the Random Direction Mobility Model(RDM)for mobile scenarios within the Cooja *** systematic evaluation focuses on critical performance metrics,including Packet Delivery Ratio(PDR),Average End to End Delay(AE2ED),throughput,Expected Transmission Count(ETX),and Average Power Consumption(APC).Our findings illuminate the disruptive impact of this attack on the routing hierarchy,resulting in decreased PDR and throughput,increased AE2ED,ETX,and *** results underscore the urgent need for robust security measures to protect RPL-based IoT ***,our study emphasizes the exacerbated impact of the attack in mobile scenarios,highlighting the evolving security requirements of IoT networks.

Realism rendering methods of outdoor augmented reality(AR)is an interesting *** items in outdoor AR need advanced impacts like shadows,sunshine,and relations between unreal items.A few realistic rendering approaches were built to overcome this *** of these approaches are not dealt with real-time ***,the issue remains an active research topic,especially in outdoor *** paper introduces a new approach to accomplish reality real-time outdoor rendering by considering the relation between items in AR regarding shadows in any place during *** proposed method includes three principal stages that cover various outdoor AR rendering ***,real shadow recognition was generated considering the sun’s location and the intensity of the *** second step involves real shadow ***,we introduced a shadow production algorithm technique and shades through its impacts on unreal items in the *** selected approach’s target is providing a fast shadow recognition technique without affecting the system’s *** achieved an average accuracy of 95.1%and an area under the curve(AUC)of 92.5%.The outputs demonstrated that the proposed approach had enhanced the reality of outside AR *** results of the proposed method outperformed other state-of-the-art rendering shadow techniques’outcomes.

Effect of deep transverse friction massage vs stretching on football players’ performance

BACkGROUND Flexibility,agility and muscle strength are key factors to either win or lose a *** the effect of a new technique,deep transverse friction massage(DTFM)on muscle extensibility as compared to traditional stretching techniques has been *** To compare the effect of DTFM vs static and dynamic stretching techniques on the hamstring’s extensibility,agility,and strength amongst Lebanese and Syrian football *** the incidence of non-contact hamstring muscle injury was a secondary *** This study is a single-blinded prospective longitudinal randomized controlled *** experiment took place over a period of four *** players were randomized into three intervention groups(static stretching;dynamic stretching;DTFM).Participants of each group were followed-up carefully by assessors during their intervention sessions three times per week,for a total of 12 sessions and during the data ***,agility,and strength were compared between intervention groups at(baseline;acute;and chronic)*** leg raise and 1 repetition maximum tests were used to measure the dominant leg hamstring muscle extensibility and maximal strength respectively.T-drill test was used to assess the lower extremities *** Of 103 Lebanese and Syrian male football players aged between 18 and 35 were sampled from Damascus-Syria and South of Lebanon to participate in this ***-groups measures of acute strength(P=0.011)and chronic extensibility(P=0.000)solely showed a significant difference,and the static group showed to be superior as compared to the other *** loss to follow-up or protocol violation was *** Static stretching is showing to be superior to the other techniques used,regarding gaining long-term extensibility and short-term maximal muscle *** addition,DTFM showed improvements but did not outweigh the effects on footballers’performance when comparing it to static

The identification and classification of collective people’s activities are gaining momentum as significant themes in machine learning,with many potential applications *** need for representation of collective human behavior is especially crucial in applications such as assessing security conditions and preventing crowd *** paper investigates the capability of deep neural network(DNN)algorithms to achieve our carefully engineered pipeline for crowd *** includes three principal stages that cover crowd analysis ***,individual’s detection is represented using the You Only Look Once(YOLO)model for human detection and kalman filter for multiple human tracking;Second,the density map and crowd counting of a certain location are generated using bounding boxes from a human detector;and Finally,in order to classify normal or abnormal crowds,individual activities are identified with pose *** proposed system successfully achieves designing an effective collective representation of the crowd given the individuals in addition to introducing a significant change of crowd in terms of activities *** results onMOT20 and SDHA datasets demonstrate that the proposed system is robust and *** framework achieves an improved performance of recognition and detection peoplewith a mean average precision of 99.0%,a real-time speed of 0.6ms non-maximumsuppression(NMS)per image for the SDHAdataset,and 95.3%mean average precision for MOT20 with 1.5ms NMS per image.

Photocatalytic degradation of Chicago Sky Blue 6B and Benzopurpurin 4B using titanium dioxide thin film

Aqueous solutions of azo dyes undergo degradation to form harmless intermediates and colorless products following irradiation by visible light in the presence of titanium dioxide thin films. The dyes that were studied in this work are： Chicago Sky Blue 6B and Benzopurpurin 4B. Results obtained indicated that complete mineralization of the dyes took place under the experimental conditions. There was an increase in conductivity after the complete mineralization experiments possibly indicating the formation of ions such as NO3^- and SO4^2-. Chemical oxygen demand（COD） measurements show a decrease in organic matter for both dyes following complete degradation. The effect of how changing experimental conditions such as pH, temperature and starting concentrations of dyes affected the rate of dye degradation was measured. There was an increase in the rate of disappearance of the dye color at lower pH. High concentrations of dye solutions reauired Iona dearadation time.
