Skin diseases ef.ectively inf.uence all parts of.*** and accurate detection of.skin cancer is necessary to avoid signif.cant *** manual detection of.skin diseases by dermatologists leads to misclassif.cation due to the same intensity and color ***,an automated system to identif. these skin diseases is *** studies on skin disease classif.cation using dif.erent techniques have been ***,previous techniques f.iled to identif. multi-class skin disease images due to their similar *** the proposed study,a computer-aided f.amework f.r automatic skin disease detection is *** the proposed research,we collected and normalized the datasets f.om two databases(ISIC archive,Mendeley)based on six Basal Cell Carcinoma(BCC),Actinic Keratosis(AK),Seborrheic Keratosis(SK),Nevus(N),Squamous Cell Carcinoma(SCC),and Melanoma(M)common skin ***,segmentation is perf.rmed using deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN).f.rthermore,three types of.f.atures are extracted f.om segmented skin lesions:ABCD rule,GLCM,and in-depth *** transf.r learning is used f.r deep f.ature extraction,while a support vector machine(SVM)is used f.r *** results show that SVM outperf.rmed other studies in terms of.accuracy,as AK disease achieved 100%accuracy,BCC 92.7%,M 95.1%,N 97.8%,SK 93.1%,SCC 91.4%with a global accuracy of.95.4%.

Background:Bile duct injury(BDI)af.er cholecystectomy remains a signif.cant surgical *** guideline exists to guide the timing of.repair,while f.w studies compare early versus late repair *** study aimed to analyze the outcomes in patients undergoing immediate,intermediate,and delayed repair of.***:We retrospectively analyzed 412 patients with BDI f.om March 2015 to January *** patients were divided into three groups based on the time of.BDI *** 1 underwent an immediate reconstruction(within the f.rst 72 hours post-cholecystectomy,n=156);group 2 underwent an intermediate reconstruction(f.om 4 days to 6 weeks post-cholecystectomy,n=75),and group 3 underwent delayed reconstruction(af.er 6 weeks post-cholecystectomy,n=181).Results:Patients in group 2 had signif.cantly more early complications including anastomotic leakage and intra-abdominal collection and late complications including anastomotic stricture and secondary liver cirrhosis compared with groups 1 and *** outcome was observed in 111(71.2%)patients in group 1,31(41.3%)patients in group 2,and 157(86.7%)patients in group 3(P=0.0001).Multivariate analysis identif.ed that complete ligation of.the bile duct,level E1 BDI and the use of.external stent were independent f.ctors of.f.vorable outcome in group 1,the use of.external stent was an independent f.ctor of.f.vorable outcome in group 2,and level E4 BDI was an independent f.ctor of.unf.vorable outcome in group *** BDI and level E4 BDI were independent f.ctors of.unf.vorable ***:f.vorable outcomes were more f.equently observed in the immediate and delayed reconstruction of.post-cholecystectomy *** ligation of.the bile duct,level E1 BDI and the use of.external stent were independent f.ctors of.a f.vorable outcome.

AIM: To assess the changes in the anterior chamber parameters using Pentacam f.llowing f.ur dif.erent lines of.treatment of.primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG).METHODS: A retrospective comparative study included 126 patients(126 eye) presented within 24-48 h af.er acute angle-closure glaucoma(AACG). Patients were divided into 2 groups: group A(68 eyes) with controlled intraocular pressure(IOP) ≤21 mm Hg, which included subgroup A1(34 eyes) with clear lens underwent Nd:YAG laser peripheral iridotomy(LPI) and subgroup A2(34 eyes) with cataract underwent standard phacoemulsif.cation;and group B(58 eyes) with uncontrolled IOP, which included subgroup B1(30 eyes) with clear lens underwent trabeculectomy and subgroup B2(28 eyes) with cataract underwent combined phacoemulsif.cation and trabeculectomy. Patients were f.l owed up f.r at least 3 mo. Primary outcomes were Pentacam anterior segment measurements [anterior chamber angle(ACA) and depth(ACD)]. Secondary outcomes were changes in IOP, visual acuity(VA) and recorded complications. RESULTS: At the 3^(rd)month, there was signif.cant increase in the ACA values in all studied groups compared to preoperative values(Pf.increase in ACA was recorded in phacotrabeculectomy group B2(128.40%). There was signif.cant increase in ACD values at 3^(rd)month compared with baseline values(Pf.r groups A1, A2, and B2;without change in B1 trabeculectomy group. The maximum deepening of.ACD was noticed in group B2 with 94.27% increase.
