Mobile-Edge Computing(MEC)displaces cloud services as closely as possible to the end *** enables the edge servers to execute the offloaded tasks that are requested by the users,which in turn decreases the energy consumption and the turnaround time ***,as a result of a hostile environment or in catastrophic zones with no network,it could be difficult to deploy such edge *** Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)can be employed in such *** edge servers mounted on these UAVs assist with task *** the majority of IoT applications,the execution times of tasks are often ***,UAVs tend to have a limited energy *** study presents an approach to offload IoT user applications based on the usage of Voronoi diagrams to determine task delays and cluster IoT devices dynamically as a first ***,the UAV flies over each cluster to perform the offloading *** addition,we propose a Graphics Processing Unit(GPU)-based parallelization of particle swarm optimization to balance the cluster sizes and identify the shortest path along these clusters while minimizing the UAV flying time and energy *** evaluation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented offloading strategy.

Designing a robust controller for a system with timevarying delays poses a major challenge. In this paper, we propose a method based on mixed sensitivity h∞ for the control of linear time invariant（LTI） systems with varying time delays. The time delay is assumed bounded and the upper bound is known. In the technique we propose, the delay affecting the plant to be controlled is treated as an unmodeled uncertainty（in form of multiplicative uncertainty）. That uncertainty is approximated and then an h∞based controller, for the plant represented by the multiplicative uncertainty and the nominal model, is calculated. The obtained h∞controller is used to control the LTI systems with varying time delays. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Developing a biomaterial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were embedded in cast films based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be examined for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated films including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Raman,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),besides their biological *** thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)exhibits high thermal stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the temperature from room temperature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachment shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on most of the surface of the modified PCL which shows high biocompatibility.

Developing anatase/rutile phase-junction in Ti O_(2)to construct Z-scheme system is quite effective to improve its photoelectrochemical *** this work,the anatase/rutile phase-junction Ag/Ti O_(2)nanocomposites are developed as photocathodes for hydrogen *** optimized Ag/Ti O_(2)nanocomposite achieves a high current density of 1.28 m A cm-2,an incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency(IPCE)of 10.8%,an applied bias photon-to-current efficiency(ABPE)of 0.32 at 390 nm and a charge carriers’lifetime up to 2000 *** enhancement on photoelectrochemical activity can be attributed to:(ⅰ)the generated Z-scheme system in the anatase/rutile phase-junction Ag/Ti O_(2)photocathode enhances the separation,diffusion and transformation of electron/hole pairs inside the structure,(ⅱ)Ag nanodots modification in the anatase/rutile phases leading to the tuned band gap with enhanced light absorption and(ⅲ)the formed Schottky barrier after Ag nanodots surface modification provides enough electron traps to avoid the recombination of photogenerated electrons and *** results here suggest that developing phase-junction nanocomposite as photocathode will provide a new vision for their enhanced photoelectrochemical generation of hydrogen.

New types of polyamides containing pendent triaryl pyridine groups were successfully synthesized by direct polycondensation of a symmetry diamine,（4-（4-（2,6-diphenylpyridin-4yl）phenoxy）phenyl）-3,5-diaminobezamide（DPDAB）, and various aromatic and aliphatic dicarboxylic diacids in NMP using triphenyl phosphate（TPP） and pyridine as catalyst. The diamine and all the prepared polyamides were fully characterized by using FT-IR,~1h-NMR,UV-Vis spectroscopy, fluorimetry and elemental *** inherent viscosity of polyamides ranged from 0.45 dL/g to 0.68 dL/*** the polymers exhibited solubility in common polar aprotic solvents such as NMP,DMAc,DMF,DMSO,pyridine,hMPA,and even in less polar solvents such as ThF and m-cresol at room *** properties of polyamides were evaluated by means of DSC,DMTA and *** polymers showed glass transition temperatures（T_g） in the range of 138-210℃. Their initial decomposition temperature（T_i） varied from 265℃to 310℃under N_*** dilute solution（0.2 g/dL） of polyamides in DMF exhibited fluorescence emission withλ_（max） in the range of 470-550 nm.

Wind-lens turbines(WLTs)exhibit the prospect of a higher output power and more suitability for urban areas in comparison to bare wind *** wind-lens typically comprises a diffuser shroud coupled with a flange appended to the exit periphery of the ***-lenses can boost the velocity of the incoming wind through the turbine rotor owing to the creation of a lowpressure zone downstream the flanged *** this paper,the aerodynamic performance of the wind-lens is computationally assessed using high-fidelity transient CFD simulations for shrouds with different profiles,aiming to assess the effect of change of some design parameters such as length,area ratio and flange height of the diffuser shroud on the power *** power coefficient(Cp)is calculated by solving the URANS equations with the aid of the SST k–ω***,comparisons with experimental data for validation are accomplished to prove that the proposed methodology could be able to precisely predict the aerodynamic behavior of the windlens *** results affirm that wind-lens with cycloidal profile yield an augmentation of about 58%increase in power coefficient compared to bare wind turbine of the same rotor *** is also emphasized that diffusers(cycloid type)of small length could achieve a twice increase in power coefficient while maintaining large flange heights.

A series of new Schiff base polyamides（PAs） were synthesized by polycondensation of benzilbisthiosemicarbazone diamine（Lh6） with different commercially available aliphatic and aromatic diacid chlorides. The monomer and all the PAs were characterized by FTIR,^1h-NMR,and elemental *** prepared polyamides showed inherent viscosities in the range of 0.30-0.36 dL/g in DMF at 25℃,indicating their moderate molecular *** PAs were completely soluble in aprotic polar solvents such as dimethylformamide（DMF）,N-methylpyrolidone（NMP）, tetrachloroethane（TCE）,dimthylsulfoxide（DMSO） and also in h_2SO_4 and partially soluble in ThF,acetone and chloroform at room *** analysis showed that these PAs were practically amorphous and exhibited 10%weight loss above 220℃.
