Internet of things(Iot)is a technological revolution that redefined communication and computation of modern *** generally refers to a network of gadgets linked via wireless network and communicates via *** management,especially energy management,is a critical issue when designing Iot *** studies reported that clustering and routing are energy efficient solutions for optimal management of resources in Iot *** this point of view,the current study devises a new Energy-Efficient Clustering-based Routing technique for Resource Management i.e.,EECBRM in Iot *** proposed EECBRM model has three stages namely,fuzzy logic-based clustering,Lion Whale Optimization with tumbling(LWOt)-based routing and cluster maintenance *** proposed EECBRMmodel was validated through a series of experiments and the results were verified under several *** model was compared with existing methods in terms of energy efficiency,delay,number of data transmission,and network *** simulated,in comparison with other methods,EECBRM model yielded excellent results in a significant ***,the efficiency of the proposed model is established.

Fabrication, modification and environmental applications of tiO2 nanotube arrays （tNtAs） and nanoparticles

Among the semiconductors, titanium dioxide has been identified as an effective photocatalyst due to its abundance, low cost, stability, and superior electronic energy band structure. Highly ordered nanotube arrays of titania were produced by anodization and mild sonication. the band gap energy of the titania nanotube arrays was reduced to 2.6 eV by co-doping with Fe, C, N atoms using an electrolyte solution containing K3Fe（CN）6. the photo- conversion of phenol in a batch photoreactor increased to more than 18% based on the initial concentration of phenol by using a composite nanomaterial consisting of titania nanotube arrays and Pt/ZIF-8 nanoparticles. A layer-by- layer assembly technique for the deposition of titania nanoparticles was developed to fabricate air filters for the degradation of trace amounts of toluene in the air and preparation of superhyrophobic surfaces for oil-water separation and anti-corrosion surfaces.

Objective: the chemo-preventative and therapeutic properties of selenium nanoparticles(Se NPs) have been documented over recent decades and suggest the potential uses of Se NPs in medicine. Biogenic Se NPs have higher biocompatibility and stability than chemically synthesized nanoparticles, which enhances their medical applications, especially in the field of cancer therapy. this study evaluated the potential of green-synthetized Se NPs by using berberine(Ber) as an antitumor agent and elucidated the mechanism by which these molecules combat Ehrlich solid tumors(ESts).Methods: Se NPs containing Ber(Se NPs-Ber) were synthesized using Ber and Na2 Se O3 and characterized with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Sixty male Swiss albino mice were then acclimatized for one week, injected with Ehrlich ascites tumor cells, and divided into four groups: ESt, ESt + cisplatin(5 mg/kg), ESt + Ber(20 mg/kg), and ESt + Se NPs-Ber(0.5 mg/kg). At the end of a 16-day observation period, 12 mice from each group were euthanized to analyze differences in the body weight, tumor size,gene expression, and oxidative stress markers in the four groups. three mice from each group were kept alive to compare the survival ***: treatment with Se NPs-Ber significantly improved the survival rate and decreased the body weight and tumor size, compared to the ESt group. Se NPs-Ber reduced oxidative stress in tumor tissue,as indicated by a decrease in the lipid peroxidation and nitric oxide levels and an increase in the glutathione levels. Moreover, Se NPs-Ber activated an apoptotic cascade in the tumor cells by downregulating the B-cell lymphoma 2(Bcl-2) expression rate and upregulating the Bcl-2-associated X protein and caspase-3 expression rates. Data fusion is one of the challenging issues,the healthcare sector is facing in the recent *** diagnosis from digital imagery and treatment are deemed to be the right *** Haemorrhage(ICH),a condition characterized by injury of blood vessels in brain tissues,is one of the important reasons for *** generated by X-rays and Computed tomography(Ct)are widely used for estimating the size and location of *** use manual planimetry,a time-consuming process for segmenting Ct scan *** Learning(DL)is the most preferred method to increase the efficiency of diagnosing *** this paper,the researcher presents a unique multi-modal data fusion-based feature extraction technique with Deep Learning(DL)model,abbreviated as FFE-DL for Intracranial Haemorrhage Detection and Classification,also known as *** proposed FFEDL-ICH model has four stages namely,preprocessing,image segmentation,feature extraction,and *** input image is first preprocessed using the Gaussian Filtering(GF)technique to remove ***,the Density-based Fuzzy C-Means(DFCM)algorithm is used to segment the ***,the Fusion-based Feature Extraction model is implemented with handcrafted feature(Local Binary Patterns)and deep features(Residual Network-152)to extract useful ***,Deep Neural Network(DNN)is implemented as a classification technique to differentiate multiple classes of *** researchers,in the current study,used benchmark Intracranial Haemorrhage dataset and simulated the FFEDL-ICH model to assess its diagnostic *** findings of the study revealed that the proposed FFEDL-ICH model has the ability to outperform existing models as there is a significant improvement in its *** future researches,the researcher recommends the performance improvement of FFEDL-ICH model using learning rate scheduling techniques for DNN.

Remote Monitoring of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Smart Campus Parking Lot

Smart parking lots are smart places capable of supporting both parking and charging services for electric vehicles(EVs).In order to manage EV charging,the parking lot local controller(PLLC)requires data exchange with EV charging stations(EVCSs)through communication ***,data losses and communication delays are unavoidable and may significantly degrade the system *** work aims to investigate the underlying communication networks for remote monitoring of EVCSs in a smart campus parking *** communication network consists of two subnetworks:parking area network(PAN)and campus area network(CAN).PAN covers communication among EVs,charging stations and PLLC,while CAN enables dedicated communication between PLLCs and a global controller of the *** one of the major obstacles in EV system is the lack of unified communication architecture to integrate EVCS in the power grid,we develop communication models for the in-vehicle system and EVCSs based on logical node concept of IEC 61850 ***,we implement network models for EVCSs using OPNEt *** communication technologies and configurations are considered in modeling and simulations,and end-toend delay is evaluated and discussed.

the paper presents the investigation of the effect of alkaline treatment of sodium hydroxide(NaOH) on physical and dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) viscoelastic properties of kenaf fibre filled natural rubber(NR)/thermoplastic polyurethane(tPU) *** treated kenaf fiber,NR and tPU were weighed and proportioned according to the required compositions and were blended using hot mixed Brabender *** polymer composites were then fabricated using the hot press to form a sample *** sample was cut and prepared and water absorption,density,thickness swelling and DMA tests were *** far as physical properties are concerned,composites with the highest NR amount of shows the best results,which indicates good fiber bonding *** polymer composites with the highest amount of tPU shows the highest damping properties at high temperature.

the effect of Mn_(3)O_(4)addition on microhardness,microstructure and electrical properties of vanadium oxide doped zinc oxide varistor ceramics is systematically *** Vicker’s microhardness HV has decreased with increasing the amount of ***,the average grain size has decreased from 27.51μm to 19.55μm with increasing the amount of Mn_(3)O_(4) up to 0.50 mol%,whereas an increase in Mn_(3)O_(4) up to 0.75 mol%has caused the average grain size to increase and then it decreases with increasing Mn_(3)O_(4)from 0.75 mol%to 1.00 mol%.the sintered density has decreased from 5.38 g/cm3 to 5.31 g/cm3 with increasing the amount of Mn_(3)O_(4).the varistor ceramic modified with 0.50 mol%Mn_(3)O_(4) has exhibited excellent nonlinear properties,with 16.29 for the nonlinear coefficient and 441.9μA/cm2 for the leakage current ***,the sample doped with 0.50 mol%Mn_(3)O_(4) has been found to possess donor density as 0.77×10^(18) cm^(-3) and 0.916 eV barrier height.

Hypolipidemic activity of tamarix articulata Vahl. in diabetic rats

OBJECtIVE： tamarix articulata Vahl. （tamaricaceae） is a medicinal plant commonly used in Morocco for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases. the objective of this study was to evaluate the hypolipidemic activity of aqueous extract of t. articulata in normal and streptozotocin （StZ）-induced diabetic rats. Phytochemical analysis as well as determination of polyphenol and flavonoid contents in the aqueous extract of t. articulata was performed. MEtHODS： the effects of oral administration of aqueous extract of t. articulata （5 mg/kg） on the plasma total cholesterol, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol （HDL-c） concentrations were measured in both normal and StZ-induced diabetic rats. total phenolic content of the aqueous extract was determined by Folin-Ciocalteu method. In addition, determination of flavonoid content was performed using colorimetric AICI3 method. RESULtS： A single oral administration in diabetic rats induced a significant increase in the HDL-c concentration after 6 h of treatment with t. articulata （5 mg/kg）. the results also demonstrated that the aqueous extract of t. articulata produced a significant decrease of serum total cholesterol after repeated oral administration in diabetic rats （P 〈 0.01）. the total polyphenol and flavonoid contents of t. articulata aqueous extract were equal to 102.50 mg of gallic acid equivalent per gram of extract and 54.83 mg of quercetin equivalent per gram of extract, respectively. CONCLUSION： According to preliminary phytochemical screening of the aerial part of t. articulata, severa classes of chemicals have been found, such as polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins, cyanidins （flavones, catechols）, mucilage, sesquiterpenes, terpenoids and carbohydrates. In conclusion, t. articulata exhibits a hypolipidemic effect in diabetic rats and its beneficial role as hypolipidemic agent should be evaluated in clinical studies.

Performance of an activated carbon made from waste palm shell in simultaneous adsorption of SO_x and NO_x of flue gas at low temperature

this study examined the individual and simultaneous adsorption of SO{in{itx}} (SO{in{it2}}) and NO{in{itx}} (NO-NO{in{it2}}) on activated carbon prepared from waste palm shell. the adsorption process was examined in a fixed bed reactor at low temperatures (100\2-300\dgC). For individual adsorption without any catalytic activation, SO{in{itx}} showed good adsorption whereas NO{in{itx}} was very much poor. In the simultaneous adsorption of SO{in{itx}} and NO{in{itx}}, SO{in{itx}} showed greater adsorption affinity than NO{itx}. For palm shell activated carbon (PSAC) impregnated with metal catalyst (Ni and Ce) the concentration adsorbed profile showed that the amount of SO{in{itx}} adsorbed decreased regularly, while the amount of the adsorbed NO{in{itx}} increased irregularly. the properties of the pure and impregnated PSAC were analyzed by BEt, SEM and EDX. these investigations indicated that PSAC impregnated with metal catalyst is the determining factor in the adsorption of SO{in{itx}} and NO{in{itx}} simultaneously.
