Com.inations of m.tal and lanthanide oxides have been done through casted film. for potential m.dical applications. In this regard, sam.rium.Ⅲ) oxide/chrom.um.Ⅲ) oxide/graphene oxide(GO)/polycaprolactone(PCL) based film. nano-com.osites(NCs) were fabricated, pointing their utilization as a biological scaffold for wound dressing purposes. Also, sam.rium.Ⅲ) oxide and chrom.um.Ⅲ) oxide have been m.rged as prom.sing optical constituents due to their unique optical behavior. The structural and com.ositional exam.nation of the studied NCs was executed by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Ram.n, and field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy(FESEm.. The Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL NC exhibits a surface with a lower roughness degree owing to the presence of GO. Cr_(2)O_(3)shows size reduction upon GO insertion to reach 1.2 μm.as the average grain size, whilst Sm.(2)O_(3)records an average grain size of less than 1 μm. As well, the polym.ric nano-com.ositions exhibit variation in contact angle values that hit 29.76°± 3.52°for Sm.(2)O_(3)/PCL, and 48.62°± 1.37°for Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL as the second lowest contact angle. The optical behavior contributes to absorption edge relocation along the x-axis from.1.7 eV for pure PCL, to 2.65 eV for Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL. Regarding biological responses, the cell exposed to 2.5 μg/m.L of Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL shows cell viability of 119.31%, while 5 μg/m.L hits 99.6%. Additionally, the resulting cell attachm.nt m.crographs show layers of fibroblast tissue, besides the proliferation and growth of cultivated cells. Thus, the Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL scaffold provides 3D proliferation of fibroblast cells endorsing the wound healing process.

Recently,research on hydrogel m.terials with a porous structure and superior water absorption capabilities significantly ***,the hydrogel under gravity-driven separation conditions often exhibit an unstable pore structure,poor m.chanical properties,and lim.ted *** this end,this work presents a novel approach that com.ines a m.cro-m.cro double bionic strategy with a triple crosslinking m.thod to develop a m.ltifunctional alginate com.osite hydrogel filter(2%-SA-κCG-PVA-Ca^(2+),2%-SKP-Ca^(2+)for short)with a stable pore structure and superior m.chanical properties,which possessed an um.rella-shaped structure resem.ling that of *** 2%-SKPCa^(2+)filter was synthesized using polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as a stable structure-directing agent,and sodium.alginate(SA)andκ-carrageenan(κ-CG)as polym.r *** distinctive um.rellashaped hydrogel of 2%-SKP-Ca^(2+)filter,form.d through the triple crosslinking m.thod,overcom.s the lim.tations of unstable pore structure and poor durability seen in hydrogels prepared by traditional crosslinking ***,the utilization of the 2%-SKP-Ca^(2+)filter in water treatm.nt dem.nstrates its good selective perm.ability,excellent resistance to fouling,and extended longevity,which enables it to sim.ltaneously achieve the m.ltifunctional water purification and the coating of m.lti-substrate anti-fouling ***,not only does this research provide an efficient,m.ltifunctional,highly pollution-resistant preparation m.thod for designing a new filter,but it also confirm. the application prospect of the m.cro-m.cro dual bionic strategy developed in this study in com.lex water treatm.nt.

Chlorine has been widely used in different advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)for m.cropollutants *** this study,different chlorine-based AOPs,nam.ly m.dium.pressure(m.)UV/chlorine,low pressure(LP)UV/chlorine,and in-situ chlorination,were com.ared for carbam.zepine(CBZ)rem.val efficiency,energy consum.tion,and disinfection by-products(DBPs)*** three processes could achieve nearly 100%CBZ rem.val,while the reaction tim. needed by in-situ chlorination was double the tim. required by UV/chlorine *** energy consum.d per m.gnitude of CBZ rem.ved(EE/O)of m. UV/chlorine was 13 tim.s higher than that of LP UV/chlorine,and relative to that of in-situ chlorination ***,m. and LP UV/chlorine processes generated one to two orders of m.gnitude m.re hydroxyl radicals(^(·)OH)and reactive chlorine species(RCS)than in-situ ***,RCS were the dom.nant reactive species,contributing to 78.3%,75.6%,and 71.6% of CBZ rem.val in m.,LP UV/chlorine,and in-situ chlorination,*** to the Gibbs free energy barriers between CBZ and RCS/^(·)OH calculated based on density functional theory(DFT),RCS had m.re reaction routes with CBZ and showed lower energy barrier in the m.in CBZ degradation pathways like epoxidation and form.tion of *** applied to secondary wastewater effluent,UV/chlorine and in-situ chlorination produced overall DBPs ranging from.104.77 to 135.41μg/***,the production of chlorate during UV/chlorine processes was 15 tim.s higher than that during in-situ chlorination.

In this editorial,we respond to a review article by Nabi et al,in which the authors discussed gastroesophageal reflux(GER)following peroral endoscopic m.otom.(POEm..POEm.is presently the prim.ry therapeutic option for achalasia,which is both safe and effective.A few adverse effects were docum.nted after POEm.including *** diagnostic criteria were not clear enough because approxim.tely 60%of patients have a long acid exposure tim.,while only 10%experience reflux *** predictors of high disease incidence have been identified,including old age,fem.le sex,obesity,and a baseline lower esophageal sphincter pressure of less than 45 *** technical steps during the procedure,such as a lengthy or full-thickness m.otom.,m.y further enhance the *** pum. inhibitors are currently the first line of *** voices are increasingly advocating for the routine com.ining of POEm.with an endoscopic fundoplication m.thod,such as peroral endoscopic fundoplication or transoral incisionless ***,m.re research is necessary to determ.ne the safety and effectiveness of these procedures in the long term.for patients who have undergone them.

Intravesical instillation of platelet-rich plasm. for treatm.nt of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrom.:A pilot study

Objective:The aim.of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of intravesical instillation of platelet-rich plasm.(PRP)to treat interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrom.(IC/BPS).m.terials and m.thods:Twenty PRP sam.les were tested in vitro for stability after exposure to urine sam.les with different pH.A pilot study involving 21 fem.le patients with IC/BPS was conducted,and 6 weekly doses of autologous PRP(50 m.)were *** were followed up at the 2nd,4th,8th,and 12th weeks after term.nating *** prim.ry endpoint was the visual analog scale(VAS)for pain,and the secondary endpoints included the IC sym.tom.index,IC problem.index of the O'Leary-Sant questionnaire and global response assessm.nt,urine culture,and *** was defined as a reduction in VAS by 30%or m.re com.ared with basal level,and adverse events were ***:The m.an±SD of VAS was significantly reduced com.ared with basal level(4.4±2.6 vs.8.8±1.1,respectively,p=0.001).m.anwhile,80%of cases were considered successful,with a 50.1%reduction in the m.an score com.ared with the basal *** m.an±SD of IC sym.tom.index and IC problem.index significantly im.roved com.ared with the basal *** response assessm.nt was m.rkedly,m.derately,and slightly im.roved in 2(10%),10(50%),and 5(25%)patients,respectively,and showed no change in 3(15%).Three patients had positive urine cultures at follow-up,but 1 withdrew after 2 sessions because of a lack of ***:Repeated intravesical instillation of PRP could be considered an effective and safe approach for treating IC/BPS.

Depositional environm.nt， petrophysical evaluation and electrical properties of Zeit Form.tion， Northwestern shore of Gulf of Suez， Egypt

The Zeit sand reservoir is one of the m.st prolific form.tions at Northwestern side of the Gulf of Suez. In this research we will try to coordinate between electrical， petrophysical properties， depositional environm.nt and facies discrim.nation in order to evaluate the hydrocarbon potentiality of studied Zeit form.tion. The statistical param.ters for potassium.(K)， thorium.(Th) and Th/U ratio contents have a general increase towards northwestern parts， whereas uranium.(U) content has a general increase towards southeastern parts. The sandstone facies is distinguished from.the other facies by its thorium.content >4 ppm. U has high carbonate content (U ≥1 ppm.. Rocks’ electrical properties vary greatly depending on a num.er of factors. electrical m.asurem.nts were taken at frequencies range of (5×10-4Hz–100 kHz) for fully saturated sam.les (clayey sandstone) with NaCl (20 gm.Littre). As salinity， clay content， and frequency increase， consequently does the electrical properties. The continental condition are present in northwestern part (back-sea) which is distinguished by high K percent， high Th， high Th/U ratio， and low U contents. Low K， Th， and Th/U ratio contents， with high U contents， characterize the m.rine depositional environm.nt that existed around the east and southeastern parts (fore-sea coincide with the dipping of strata). Furtherm.re， the studied Zeit Form.tion has good petrophysical properties that coincide with m.rine conditions. The m.ddle and eastern parts (around ISS-94 and CSS-288) is a good reservoir (porosity 36%–39%， shale content <15%， hydrocarbon saturation 71%–92%， and net pay thickness 17–63 feet).

Objective:To evaluate the com.ination therapy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and dim.nazene aceturate against Babesia in vitro and in ***:Bioinform.tic analysis was perform.d using atom.pair *** in vitro com.ination test was perform.d against Babesia bovis and Theileria ***,the in vivo chem.therapeutic efficacy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate in com.ination with dim.nazene aceturate was investigated against the growth of Babesia m.croti in m.ce using a fluorescence inhibitory ***:Pyronaridine tetraphosphate and dim.nazene aceturate exhibited nearly sim.lar m.lecular *** in vitro com.ination of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and dim.nazene aceturate was synergistic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theileria *** addition,5 m./kg pyronaridine tetraphosphate com.ined with 10 m./kg dim.nazene aceturate inhibited Babesia m.croti growth significantly com.ared with those observed after treatm.nt with 25 m./kg dim.nazene aceturate alone from.day 6 post treatm.nt to day 12 post *** com.ination therapy also norm.lized the hem.tological param.ters of infected ***:An oral dose of pyronaridine tetraphosphate com.ined with a subcutaneous dose of dim.nazene aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in m.ce,suggesting it m.ght be a new paradigm.for the treatm.nt of babesiosis.

A 56-day feeding period was perform.d to investigate the possible im.acts of dietary nano curcum.n(0,50,100,150,and 200 ppm.on the growth,nutrient utilization,non-specific im.une param.ters,antioxidants in Nile tilapia under chronic low tem.erature(21.02±0.11◦C).Fishes(n=225;Initial weight=4.39±0.08 g/fish)were random.y stocked at 15 fish/tank for five experim.ntal groups in *** low-tem.erature circum.tances,dietary curcum.n in nano form.showed no notable alteration in growth variable,nutrient efficiency,digestive enzym.s efficiency,biom.tric indices,survival rates,and hem.tological ***,the serum.of fishes with nano curcum.n diets under low-tem.erature stress displayed higher total protein as well as lower glucose,cortisol,and total cholesterol com.ared with the control ***,fish fed nano curcum.n diets displayed higher lysozym. and bactericidal activities com.ared to the control group and the best perform.nce was found at dietary nano curcum.n level of≥100 ***,groups fed the basal diet dem.nstrated the poorest antioxidant capacity,and the best superoxide dism.tase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GPx)existed in fish with nano curcum.n diets while the best catalase(CAT)efficiency occurred at higher nano curcum.n levels≥100 *** addition,higher counts of intestinal m.crobiota in term. of total bacterial count(TBC),total yeast and m.lds count(TYm.),and coliform.were noticed in fish consum.d the basal diet com.ared to groups fed on nano curcum.n *** conclusion,incorporating nano curcum.n at a level of≥100 m./kg diet(particularly at 150 m./kg)im.roved a non-specific im.une response,antioxidant,and healthier gastrointestinal m.crobiota in Nile tilapia under chronic low-tem.erature stress.
