Mapping global research trends: Nutrition associations with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease - a Scopus bibliometric analysis

BACKGROUND Several bibliometric analyses have been carried out to identify research hotspots and trends in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)***,there are still significant knowledge gaps that must be filled to advance our understanding of and ability to treat *** To evaluate,through bibliometric and visual analysis,the current status of related research,related research frontiers,and the developmental trends in the field of diet and *** We retrieved publications about diet and NAFLD published between 1987 and 2022 from ***,we used VOSviewer 1.6.20 to perform bibliometric analysis and *** We found a total of 1905 studies,including 1637(85.93%)original articles and 195(10.24%)reviews,focused on the examination of NAFLD and its correlation with diet that were published between 1987 and *** the remaining five types of documents,38 were letters,notes,editorials,meeting minutes,or brief surveys,representing 1.99%of the total *** countries with the most publications on this topic were China(n=539;28.29%),followed by the United States(n=379;19.90%),Japan(n=133;6.98%),and South Korea(n=127;6.6%).According to the citation analysis,the retrieved papers were cited an average of 32.3 times and had an h-index of 106,with 61014 total *** two main clusters on the map included those related to:(1)Inflammation and oxidative stress;and(2)Dietary interventions for *** This was the first study to use data taken from Scopus to visualize network mapping in a novel bibliometric analysis of studies focused on diet and *** 2017,the two domains that received the most attention were“dietary interventions for NAFL”’and“‘inflammation and oxidative stress implicated in NAFLD and its correlation with diet.”We believe that this study provides important information for academics,dietitians,and doctors,and that additional research on dietary interventions and NAFLD is warranted.

AIM:To analyze the association between helicobacter spp. and some common gut bacteria in patients with cholecystitis. METhODS:A nested-polymerase chain reaction (PCR), specif ic to 16S rRNA of helicobacter spp. was performed on paraff in-embedded gallbladder samples of 100 cholecystitis and 102 control cases. The samples were also analyzed for some common gut bacteria by PCR. Positive samples were sequenced for species identif ication. RESULTS: helicobacter DNA was found in seven out of 100 cases of acute and chronic cholecystitis. Sequence analysis displayed helicobacter pullorum (h. pullorum) in six cases and helicobacter pylori in one; h. pullorum was only found in cases with metaplasia. Control sam-ples were negative for helicobacter spp. and some common gut bacteria. There was a signif icant difference (P=0.007) between cholecystitis and control samples for helicobacter ***:A possible relationship was detected between helicobacter DNA and cholecystitis. Further serological and immunohistochemical studies are needed to support these data.

Nucleon Finite Volume Effect and Nuclear Matter Properties in a Relativistic Mean-Field Theory

Effects of excluded volume of nucleons on nuclear matter are studied, and the nuclear properties that follow from different relativistic mean-field model parametrizations are compared. We show that, for all tested parametrizations, the resulting volume energy al and the symmetry energy J are around the acceptable values of 16 MeV and 30 MeV, and the density symmetry L is around 100 MeV. On the other hand, models that consider only linear terms lead to incompressibility Ko much higher than expected. For most parameter sets there exists a critical point （pc, δc）, where the minimum and the maximum of the equation of state are coincident and the incompressibility equals zero. This critical point depends on the excluded volume parameter r. If this parameter is larger than 0.5 fm, there is no critical point and the pure neutron matter is predicted to be bound. The maximum value for neutron star mass is 1.85M⊙, which is in agreement with the mass of the heaviest observed neutron star 4U0900-40 and corresponds to r = 0.72 fm. We also show that the light neutron star mass （1.2M⊙） is obtained for r ≌ 0.9 fro.

Ballistic design and testing of a composite armour reinforced by CNTs suitable for armoured vehicles

This paper is investigating the use of composite armour reinforced by nanomaterials, for the protection of light armoured(LAV) and medium armoured military vehicles(MAV), and the interaction between the composite materials and high-performance ballistic projectiles. Four armour materials, consisted of front hybrid fibre reinforced polymer cover layer, ceramic strike-face, fibre reinforced polymer intermediate layer and the metal matrix composite reinforced backplate, were manufactured and assembled by adhesive technology. The proposed laminated protection system is suitable for armoured ground vehicles;however, it could be used as armour on ground, air and naval platforms. The design of the protection system, including material selection and thickness, was elaborated depending on the performance requirements of Level 4 + STANAG 4569 military standard(projectile 14.5 mm × 114 mm API B32) and especially on a design philosophy which is analysed with the specifications. The backplate of this new composite is a hybrid material of Metal Matrix Composite(MMC) reinforced with carbon nanotubes(CNTs), manufactured with the use of powder metallurgy technique. The composite backplate material was morphologically, mechanically and chemically analysed. Results show that all plates are presenting high mechanical properties and ballistic characteristics, compared to commonly used armour plates. Real military ballistic tests according to AEP-STANAG 4569 were carried out for the total composite armour systems. After the ballistic tests, AA2024-CNT3 showed the best protection results, compared with the other plates(AA2024-CNT1 and AA2024-CNT2), with the projectile being unable to fully penetrate the composite plate.

A new europium(Ⅲ)complex containing(4-Methyl-2-oxo-2 h-chromen-7-yloxy)-acetic acid moiety(CMMC)was synthesized,characterized,and confirmed as antitumor agent and fluorescent *** spectroscopic measurements of Eu(Ⅲ)in the presence of CMMC were obtained in different *** results show that the strongest Eu(Ⅲ)emission bands were monitored in iso-propyl alcohol while the weakest Eu(Ⅲ)emission band was observed in *** interaction of Eu(Ⅲ)-(CMMC)2 complex with DNA was monitored using absorption and emission *** fluorescence titration measurements,the binding constants of DNA with Eu(Ⅲ)-(CMMC)_2 complex were found to be 1.04×10~5 L·mol^(-1) in Tris-hCl and 1.17×10~7 L·mol^(-1) in DMSO-Tris-hCl buffer(9∶1 V/V).hypochromism was observed from the absorption titration experiment which indicates the intercalation of Eu(Ⅲ)-complex between the base pair of *** result further confirmed by fluorescent Ethidium bromide displacement *** fluorescence calibration curve was used for the determination of DNA with LOD of 1.2 ng in DMSO-Tris-hCl buffer(9∶1 V/V)and 5 ng in Tris-hCl *** preliminary antitumor investigation shows promising cytotoxicity against MDA-MB-231,MCF-7(mammary cancer),and PC-3(prostate carcinoma)cell lines with IC50 values of 40.63,25.42 and 30.25μmol·L^(-1),respectively.
