This paper presents a fast adaptive iterative algorithm to solve linearly separable classification problems in R *** each iteration,a subset of the sampling data （n-points,where n is the number of features） is adaptively chosen and a hyperplane is constructed such that it separates the chosen n-points at a margin and best classifies the remaining *** classification problem is formulated and the details of the algorithm are ***,the algorithm is extended to solving quadratically separable classification *** basic idea is based on mapping the physical space to another larger one where the problem becomes linearly *** illustrations show that few iteration steps are sufficient for convergence when classes are linearly *** nonlinearly separable data,given a specified maximum number of iteration steps,the algorithm returns the best hyperplane that minimizes the number of misclassified points occurring through these *** with other machine learning algorithms on practical and benchmark datasets are also presented,showing the performance of the proposed algorithm.

This research uses both three-dimensional(3D)modeling and geologic well control to piece back together the architectural parts of the Late Cretaceous *** goal is to figure out the sizes,directions,locations,and controls of the layers of the fluvial sandstone *** stratigraphy is essential for 3D reservoir modeling and petroleum geology understanding in the Bahga *** purpose of this work is to create a static model that shows the layers and facies distribution in the reservoir *** will use data from nine well logs and 22 seismic lines calibrated by the Abu Roash G Member reservoir core intervals to accomplish *** petrophysical study discovered three parts in the Abu Roash G Member reservoir rock:channel fill that is affected by tides,channel fill that is dominated by tides(intertidal sands),and channel top with lenticular bedded *** model's findings point to the existence of an NNW-oriented sand body,which could be a prime location to produce *** original oil in place(OOIP)is about 3,438,279 Stock Tank Barrels(STB),and the oil reserve reaches up to 1,031,484(STB).Sequence stratigraphic analysis using seismic and well log information(SB)reveals that the Upper Cretaceous AR/G reservoir of the Bahga field is characterized by third-and fourth-order stratigraphic sequences,which are constrained by three Maximum Flooding Surfaces(MFS)and two Sequence *** integration of the derived geological model and sequence stratigraphic results can lower future extraction risk by identifying the locations and trends of the geologic facies with the necessary petrophysical properties for the hydrocarbon accumulations.

The capability of piles to withstand horizontal loads is a major design *** current research work aims to investigate numerically the responses of laterally loaded piles at working load employing the concept of a beam-on-Winkler-foundation *** governing differential equation for a laterally loaded pile on elastic subgrade is *** on LegendreGalerkin method and Runge-Kutta formulas of order four and five,the flexural equation of long piles embedded in homogeneous sandy soils with modulus of subgrade reaction linearly variable with depth is solved for both free-and fixed-headed ***,as one of the world’s leading computational software,was employed for the implementation of *** proposed numerical techniques provide the responses for the entire pile length under the applied lateral *** utilized numerical approaches are validated against experimental and analytical results of previously published works showing a more accurate estimation of the response of laterally loaded ***,the proposed approaches can maintain both mathematical simplicity and comparable accuracy with the experimental results.

Hydrocarbons,carbon monoxide and other pollutants from the transportation sector harm human health in many *** cell(FC)has been evolving rapidly over the past two decades due to its efficient mechanism to transform the chemical energy in hydrogen-rich compounds into electrical *** main drawback of the standalone FC is its slow dynamic response and its inability to supply rapid variations in the load ***,adding energy storage systems is ***,to manage and distribute the power-sharing among the hybrid proton exchange membrane(PEM)fuel cell(FC),battery storage(BS),and supercapacitor(SC),an energy management strategy(EMS)is *** this research work,an optimal EMS based on a spotted hyena optimizer(SHO)for hybrid PEM fuel cell/BS/SC is *** main goal of an EMS is to improve the performance of hybrid FC/BS/SC and to reduce the amount of hydrogen *** prove the superiority of the SHO method,the obtained results are compared with the chimp optimizer(CO),the artificial ecosystem-based optimizer(AEO),the seagull optimization algorithm(SOA),the sooty tern optimization algorithm(STOA),and the coyote optimization algorithm(COA).Two main metrics are used as a benchmark for the comparison:the minimum consumed hydrogen and the efficiency of the *** main findings confirm that the minimum amount of hydrogen consumption and maximum efficiency are achieved by the proposed SHO based EMS.

AIM:To propose a surgical technique that successfully reopened the empty and intact capsular bag after long periods of closure,with repositioning of the intraocular lens(IOL)from the ciliary sulcus into its preferred habitat inside the capsular ***:This is a case series,prospective,and interventional *** technique was first performed on an aphakic high myope with a closed posterior capsule for 18 ***,five patients with recurrently displaced sulcus IOLs for a range of 1 mo to 7 y were performed for the same *** surgery,identifying a"telltale white line"was an important landmark for detecting the site of major adhesions between the edge of the capsulorhexis and the posterior *** adhesions were freed using combined manual and viscoelastic dissection,followed by an easier freeing of adhesions along the whole capsular *** IOL was safely implanted,exchanged,or introduced from the sulcus into the fibrotic and closed capsular *** were followed up for a period ranging from 6 to 17 mo ***:All the patients experienced a remarkable improvement in their subjective *** lamp examination showed a postoperative centralized IOL in the *** follow up visits confirmed visual and IOL ***:This newly-introduced surgical technique facilitates the reopening of the empty yet intact capsular bag that has been closed by fibrotic proliferations,with secured implantation of the IOL inside the capsular *** with inadvertent implantation of IOLs into the ciliary sulcus,yet having an intact capsular bag,can benefit from this technique.

Objective: To investigate the ef ect of intra-peritoneal injection of purii ed exudates of axenic Spirulina platensis on the mammalian endocrine and nervous systems. Methods: The intra-peritoneal injection of the cyanobacterial exudates in mice was applied. Sex hormonal levels of testosterone and progesterone were measured using radioimmunoassay while the follicular stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone were evaluated by direct chemiluminescence. In addition, superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase were monitored in the hippocampus region using spectrophotometric method. The levels of the hippocampal monoamines, dopamine, noradrenaline and serotonin were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography while the acetyl choline neurotransmitter was measured by colorimetric method using choline/acetylcholine assay kit. Results: A sharp disruption in the sex hormones levels of testosterone, progesterone, follicular stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone was demonstrated in the serum of the treated mice. At the same time, a signii cant reduction in the endogenous antioxidant defense enzymes, superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase was observed in the hippocampus region of the injected mice. Moreover, levels of dopamine, noradrenaline, serotonin and acetyl choline neurotransmitter in the same region were signii cantly af ected as a result of the treatment with Spirulina i ltrate. The gas chromatography-mass spectrometer and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry analysis showed the presence of some sterol-like compounds in the cyanobacterial i ltrate. Conclusions: This study demonstrated the capability of Spirulina to release detrimental bioactive metabolites into their surrounding that can disrupt the mammalian endocrine and nervous systems.

Objective: This study investigated cytotoxicity and induction of apoptosis in human cervical cancer cells(HELA) and prostate cancer cells(PC-3) using the most active fraction of Moringa peregrina seed ***: Dried and powdered seeds were extracted using 95% ethanol. The total ethanolic extract was further dissolved in distilled water and separated into petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts. Based on the results of in vitro anticancer studies of all extracts, the most highly active extract was selected for evaluation of apoptosis induction and cell cycle analysis on HELA and PC-3 cells at its half maximal inhibitory concentration using flow cytometry;DNA fragmentation by agarose gel electrophoresis and the expression of protein were measured by Western ***: The chloroform fraction from the ethanolic extract of M. peregrina(CFEE) was the most active antitumor fraction. The selectivity index, determined using the normal Vero cell line, indicated that CFEE had a high degree of selectivity against HELA and PC-3 cells. CFEE induced apoptosis, confirmed by cell cycle arrest at sub-G0 phase and DNA fragmentation. CFEE induced an increase in mRNA expression of caspase-3, a decrease in Bcl-2 mRNA expression, and decreased ATP levels. CFEE increased protein expression of caspase-3 and decreased protein expression of poly-ADP-ribose polymerase-1(PARP-1).Flow cytometric analysis showed an appreciable increase in the number of cells in the early apoptotic stage in CFEE-treated HELA and PC-3 cells. CFEE treatment significantly increased lipid peroxidation(malondialdehyde level) in HELA and PC-3 ***: Seed extract of M. peregrina displayed a significant antitumor effect through apoptosis induction in HELA and PC-3 cells.

Understanding the origins of potential source rocks and unraveling the intricate connections between reservoir oils and their source formations in the Siwa Basin(Western Desert,Egypt)necessitate a thorough oil-source correlation *** objective is achieved through a meticulous analysis of well-log responses,Rock-Eval pyrolysis,and biomarker *** analysis of Total Organic Carbon across 31 samples representing Paleozoic formations in the Siwa A-1X well reveals a spectrum of organic richness ranging from 0.17 wt%to 2.04 wt%,thereby highlighting diverse levels of organic content and the presence of both Type II and Type III *** of the fingerprint characteristics of eight samples from the well suggests that the Dhiffah Formation comprises a blend of terrestrial and marine organic ***,a significant contribution from more oxidized residual organic matter and gas-prone Type III kerogen is ***,the Desouky and Zeitoun formations exhibit mixed organic matter indicative of a transitional environment,and thus featuring a pronounced marine influence within a more reducing setting,which is associated with Type II *** analysis of five oil samples from different wells—SIWA L-1X,SIWA R-3X,SIWA D-1X,PTAH 5X,and PTAH 6X,it is evident that terrestrial organic matter,augmented by considerable marine input,was deposited in an oxidizing environment,and contains Type III *** scrutiny confirms the coexistence of mixed terrestrial organic matter within varying redox *** is the uniformity of identified kerogen Types II and III across all samples,known to have potential for hydrocarbon *** discovery presented in this paper unveils captivating prospects concerning the genesis of oil in the Jurassic Safa reservoir,suggesting potential links to Paleozoic sources or even originating from the Safa Member *** revelations mark a substantial advancement in understanding source
