In order to remove hexahydro-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine(RDX),the main impurity,in process of polymorphic transformation of octrahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine(HMX),the solubility ofβ-HMX and RDX in acetonitrile(ACN)+water in the temperature range of 288.15-333.15 K and in nitric acid(HNO_(3))+water in the temperature range of 298.15-333.15 K were measured by laser dynamic *** results showed that the solubility of bothβ-HMX and RDX in binary mixed solvents increased monotonously as the temperature increase at a given solvent composition or with increasing of mole fraction of solvent(ACN and nitric acid).Solubility data were well correlated by the modified Apelblat equation,Jouyban-Acree model,Yaws equation and van't Hoff equation,and the Yaws equation achieved the best fitting results according to the relative error and the mean square error ***,the solubility ofβ-HMX and RDX in binary mixed solvent was compared,based on the solubility difference and the solvent's own properties,the best separation degree ofβ-HMX and RDX was found when the mole fraction of nitric acid was 0.22 at room temperature,which provided data support for HMX crystallization in mixed *** solubility differences between RDX andβ-HMX in mixed solvents were explained from the formation of intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds.

Conventional repairing methods for asphalt pavement have some inconveniences,such as insufficient strength,and are typically *** address these issues,this study proposes a new technological method to design and prepare a high-performance assembled asphalt concrete block for fast repair of the potholes.A series of composite modified asphalt binders with 10%crumb rubber(CR)and different dosages(0%,1%,3%,5%)of polyurethane(PU)are examined to determine the optimized ***,the corresponding asphalt mixtures are prepared for further comparison and assessment of engineering properties,such as moistureinduced damage,high-temperature deformation,and low-temperature cracking *** test results show that PU can significantly improve the high-temperature performance and hardness of(crumb rubber modified asphalt)CRMA binder;3%PU contributes allowing the resistance of CRMA mixture to moisture-induced damage at higher levels,particularly under water whole immersion;as 3%PU is added,the high-temperature rutting deformation resistance of the CRMA mixture increases significantly,and the low-temperature anti-cracking properties are also improved ***,the innovatively designed high-quality assembled fast-repairing asphalt concrete block is recommended as an appropriate option for highway maintenance.

Manipulating strain mode and degree that can be applied to epitaxial complex oxide thin films have been a cornerstone of strain *** recent years,lift-off and transfer technology of the epitaxial oxide thin films have been developed that enabled the integration of heterostructures without the limitation of material types and crystal ***,twisted integration would provide a more interesting strategy in artificial magnetoelectric heterostructures.A specific twist angle between the ferroelectric and ferromagnetic oxide layers corresponds to the distinct strain regulation modes in the magnetoelectric coupling process,which could provide some insight in to the physical *** this work,the La_(0.67)Sr_(0.33)MnO_(3)(001)/0.7Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-0.3PbTiO_(3)(011)(LSMO/PMN-PT)heterostructures with *** *** angles were assembled via water-etching and transfer *** transferred LSMO films exhibit a fourfold magnetic anisotropy with easy axis along LSMO.A coexistence of uniaxial and fourfold magnetic anisotropy with LSMO[110]easy axis is observed for the 45°Sample by applying a 7.2 kV cm^(−1)electrical field,significantly different from a uniaxial anisotropy with LSMO[100]easy axis for the 0°*** fitting of the ferromagnetic resonance field reveals that the strain coupling generated by the 45°twist angle causes different lattice distortion of LSMO,thereby enhancing both the fourfold and uniaxial *** work confirms the twisting degrees of freedom for magnetoelectric coupling and opens opportunities for fabricating artificial magnetoelectric heterostructures.

The important supporting component in a gas turbine is the casing,which has the characteristics of large size,complex structure,and thin *** the context of existing 3DP sand casting processes,casting crack defects are prone to *** leads to an increase in the scrap rate of casings,causing significant resource ***,the presence of cracks poses a significant safety hazard after the casings are put into *** generation of different types of crack defects in stainless steel casings is closely related to casting stress and the high-temperature concession of the sand ***,the types and causes of cracks in stainless steel casing products,based on their structural characteristics,were systematically *** sand molds with different internal topology designs were printed using the 3DP technology to investigate the impact of sand mold structures on high-temperature *** optimal sand mold structure was used to cast casings,and the crack suppression effect was verified by analyzing its eddy current testing *** experimental results indicate that the skeleton structure has an excellent effect on suppressing cracks in the *** research holds important theoretical and engineering significance in improving the quality of casing castings and reducing production costs.

The boundary condition is a crucial factor affecting the permeability variation due to *** experimental investigation on the permeability of gap-graded soil due to horizontal suffusion considering the boundary effect is conducted,where the hydraulic head difference(DH)varies,and the boundary includes non-loss and soil-loss *** samples are filled into seven soil storerooms connected in *** evaluation,the variation in content of fine sand(ΔR_(f))and the hydraulic conductivity of soils in each storeroom(C_(i))are *** the non-loss test,the soil sample filling area is divided into runoff,transited,and accumulated areas according to the negative or positive ΔR_(f) values.ΔR_(f) increases from negative to positive along the seepage path,and Ci decreases from runoff area to transited area and then rebounds in accumulated *** the soil-loss test,all soil sample filling areas belong to the runoff area,where the gentle-loss,strengthened-loss,and alleviated-loss parts are further divided.ΔR_(f) decreases from the gentle-loss part to the strengthened-loss part and then rebounds in the alleviated-loss part,and C_(i) increases and then decreases along the seepage *** relationship between ΔR_(f) and Ci is different with the boundary *** exponentially decreases with ΔR_(f) in the non-loss test and increases with ΔR_(f) generally in the soil-loss test.

In this study,we proposed a novel method that integrates density functional theory(DFT)with the finite field method to accurately estimate the polarizability and dielectric constant of *** approach effectively accounts for the influence of electronic and geometric conformation changed on the dielectric *** validated our method using polyethylene(PE)and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)as benchmark materials,and found that it reliably predicted their dielectric ***,we explored the impact of conformation variations in poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)on its dielectric constant and *** resulting dielectric constants ofα-andγ-PVDF(3.0)showed excellent agreement with crystalline PVDF in *** findings illuminate the relationship between PVDF’s structural properties and its electrical behavior,offering valuable insights for material design and applications.

All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)based on sulfide electrolytes promise next-generation energy storage with high energy density and ***,the sulfide electrolytes suffer from phase instability and sluggish interfacial charge transport when pairing with layered oxide cathodes at high ***,a simple and efficient strategy is proposed using two-dimensional Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene as starting material to in-situ construct a 15 nm Li_(2)TiO_(3) layer on a typical oxide cathode,LiCoO_(2).The in-situ transformation of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)into Li_(2)TiO_(3) layer occurs at a low temperature of 500℃,avoiding the phase deterioration of LiCoO_(2).The thin Li_(2)TiO_(3) layer is Li^(+)conducting and electrochemically stable,thereby preventing the interfacial decomposition of sulfide electrolytes induced by LiCoO_(2) at high voltages and facilitating Li+transport at the ***,Li_(2)TiO_(3) can stabilize the layer structure of LiCoO_(2) at high ***,the sulfide-based ASSLB using LiCoO_(2)@Li_(2)TiO_(3) cathode can operate stably at a high voltage of up to 4.5 V(***+/Li),delivering an outstanding initial specific discharge capacity of 138.8 m Ah/g with a high capacity retention of 86.2% after 100 cycles at 0.2 *** in-situ transformation strategy may also apply to other MXenes,offering a general approach for constructing other advanced lithiated coatings for oxide cathodes.

In this study,the truncated octahedral CeO_(2)(CeO_(2)-to)with special morphology was prepared by the solvothermal method with oleic acid(OA)and oleamine(OM)as the morphology-directing ***-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)results show that CeO_(2)-to exposes composite{100}and{111}facets,while CeO_(2)cubic(CeO_(2)-c)and CeO_(2)octahedral(CeO_(2)-o)only expose single crystal facets of{100}plane and{111}plane,***,this CeO_(2)-to photocatalyst exhibits remarkable photooxidation performance of gaseous acetaldehyde(CH_(3)CHO)degradation,in which CO_(2)generation value reaches 1.78 and 7.97-times greater than that of CeO_(2)-c and CeO_(2)-o,*** addition,the active species trapping experiment signifies that superoxide(·O_(2)^(-))and holes(h^(+))are the main reactive substances during the CH_(3)CHO degradation process,and the electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectra indicates that the former is the major ***,the electron transfer mechanism between CeO_(2)-to{100}and{111}facets and the surface oxygen adsorption ability are revealed via density functional theory(DFT)*** is also confirmed that{100}facets are more conducive to the absorption of acetaldehyde than{111}***,a reasonable mechanism for improved photocatalytic CH_(3)CHO degradation on CeO_(2)-to is proposed based on relevant experiments and DFT *** study demonstrates that the systematic development of surface homojunction structured photocatalysts can efficiently increase the degradation activity for volatile organic compounds(VOCs).It also offers additional direction for optimizing the photocatalytic activity of other ceriumbased photocatalysts.

The emerging biomass-based epoxy vitrimers hold great potential to fulfill the requirements for sustainable development of *** the existence of dynamic chemical bonds in vitrimers often reduces both the thermal and mechanical properties of epoxy resins, it is challenging to produce recyclable epoxy vitrimers with both excellent mechanical properties and good thermal stability. Herein, a monomer 4-(((5-(hydroxymethyl)furan-2-yl)methylene)amino)phenol(FCN) containing furan ring with potential to form high density of hydrogen bonding among repeating units is designed and copolymerized with glycerol triglycidyl ether to yield epoxy resin(FCN-GTE), which intrinsically has dual hydrogen bond networks, dynamic imine structure and resultant high performance. Importantly, as compared to the BPA-GTE, the FCN-GTE exhibits significantly improved mechanical properties owing to the increased density of hydrogen bond network and physical crosslinking interaction. Furthermore, density functional theory(DFT) calculation and in situ FTIR analysis is conducted to decipher the formation mechanism of hydrogen bond network. In addition, the FCN-GTE possesses superior UV shielding, chemical degradation, and recyclability because of the existence of abundant imine bonds. Notably, the FCN-GTE-based carbon fiber composites could be completely recycled in an amine *** study provides a facile strategy for synthesizing recyclable biomass-based high-performance epoxy vitrimers and carbon fiber composites.

Relationship between dietary niacin intake and erectile dysfunction:a population-based study

Existing research on the precise link between dietary niacin intake and erectile dysfunction(ED)is ***,this study aimed to investigate the potential association between dietary niacin intake and the risk of *** logistic regression and restricted cubic splines(RCSs)were used to examine the relationship between dietary niacin intake and *** interaction analysis was performed to assess the impact of different subgroups on the study *** addition,1:1 propensity score matching(PSM)was employed to adjust for potential confounding factors,ensuring the reliability of the *** analyzed data were collected from the 2001–2004 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES)in the *** study encompassed 3184 adults,among whom 863 participants were identified as having *** adjustments for potential confounders,the findings revealed that higher niacin intake,specifically in the highest tertile,was associated with a decreased risk of ED compared to that in the lowest tertile,showing an odds ratio(OR)of 0.56(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.37–0.85).Analysis of dose–response curves illustrated a negative correlation between dietary niacin intake and the risk of *** and interaction analyses fortified the consistency of these ***,PSM corroborated the validity of the *** study suggests an inverse association between dietary niacin intake and the risk of ***,establishing a cause-and-effect relationship remains elusive,and defining the safe threshold of niacin intake to prevent ED requires further investigation.
